Extremely Disappointed in This Company's Customer Service and Lack of Concern for Safety Your website clearly shows a specialized splice tool designed to properly connect your splices. Based on that information, I ordered all the splices and materials needed for my project. After receiving everything, I was informed that I needed this special tool to complete the installation. So, I called to get one. First, I was told that I would have to purchase it because the company wasn't going to provide it for free. Fine. I had no problem purchasing the proper tool. However, when I went to your website, I couldn't find the tool anywhere. So I called again, only to be told, "Oh, we don't sell that tool anymore. Just use a screwdriver." Are you kidding me? You advertise a specialized tool designed to do the job properly, sell customers the products that require it, and then tell them the tool is no longer available and to improvise with a screwdriver? Apparently, customer safety and having the proper equipment to install your products are no longer priorities. Instead of providing the tool specifically designed for the job, you'd rather have customers risk slipping with a screwdriver, cutting their hands open, and potentially ending up in the emergency room. What kind of company develops a product, advertises the proper installation tool, discontinues that tool, and then expects customers to figure it out themselves? If you're going to sell a product that requires a specialized tool, you should either make that tool available or provide a safe, properly designed alternative. The message this sends to your customers is pretty clear: You've already gotten our money, and now we're on our own. This is an absolutely ridiculous way to do business. It comes across as a company that is more concerned with cutting costs than supporting the people purchasing its products. I expect better from a company that sells specialized installation products. At the very least, I expect a safe, manufacturer-approved method of installing what I've already purchased. Stop advertising tools you no longer sell, stop telling customers to improvise with potentially unsafe methods, and start standing behind the products you're selling.
