I would give this business no stars if…

I would give this business no stars if I could. I made a purchase on 5/26/2020. On 6/1/2020 I received two emails saying that my order of one rolling office chair would be delayed by 7 days in one email and 10 in the other. Both emails (minutes apart but form emails aside from the number of days change) from someone named Patrick. He asked if I wanted to keep my order open. I quickly responded and asked a few questions to get a better idea when it would actually arrive before making my decision. I received no response—EVER. It is now 6/17/2020 and I have not heard anything since that email on the first. After 1.5 weeks with no response, I asked to have the order canceled and have still received no confirmation of the cancelation. I have been emailing daily ever since. There is still a charge pending on my credit card. I understand things might be crazy with all that is going on in the world, but I feel I have been more than fair in giving the benefit of the doubt. Even if this company is not scamming people (I suspect they’ll might be) their business practice is despicable. I would not recommend purchasing from this company to anyone. The deals are too good to be true.

I ordered merchandise a $250 patio…

I ordered merchandise a $250 patio chair on April 24th and received an email indicating the shipment would be delayed for 5 weeks. It has never arrived nor have I been able to make contact with the company by phone or email. They will not respond. I agree with the other posts - do not order from this company!

I never write reviews but compelled with their terrible service. I ordered a table and they wrote back in broken english saying they were sure when the item would be delivered. I asked a few days later when they thought it would bee back in stock. No response. Again a week later - any idea when back in stock. Again, no response. Then I said if i dont get a response im going to have to call my credit card company. still, no response. I went online to check my credit card for another reason. I saw they refunded my money. But no response! Thanks for the money back but next time just respond. communication is a good thing.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! If only one star was available! I ordered a piece
As a gift on 6/7/20. The price at checkout
Was $136 plus tax. No shipping. On 6/8 I received an email receipt totaling $317.99. $185 for shipping!! I have called multiple times and left voice mail. I have emailed to cancel the order immediately more than a dozen times. No response. Like so much others I wish I had researched and found this site.

I never received my order that was sold…

I never received my order that was sold to me as "ready to ship." In addition, I could never get in touch with anyone at the company via email or phone to even cancel it after waiting over a month. I finally had to dispute the charge with my credit card company who reimbursed me. This website is a scam. My review is the same as all those that precede it.

I ordered a white desk from them and…

I ordered a white desk from them and sent an email stating I wanted a refund. They sent me an email back that said “cancelled /refund” as to date the $439 is not in my account as a refund.
I’m seeing all the complaints on here. I want to take action as this place is a scam. Has anyone received a refund? I‘M taking action with this company. We cannot vent on here and remain silent about taking action.. We work so hard for our money. I hope they see this review. I’m not the one to play with.

Ordered couches on May 18th

Ordered couches on May 18th, it is now June 3rd and I have just received an email informing me that they are sold out and issuing me a refund. It is completely unacceptable to wait so long to inform your customers of such important information. I have gone weeks in my new home without furniture and will now continue to do so.

I had a great experience

I ordered a bathroom vanity on the 16th and was a little concerned after reading the other reviews when, on the 21st, the order was still staying "unfulfilled" on my account on the 12modern website. I sent an email to their contact email on the website and I received an email back within 24 hours letting me know that they had checked with the distributor and the order was set to ship the next day. The next day I received an email with two tracking numbers (the vanity shipped in two boxes), and it is now the 27th and I have both pieces of my order (one arrived a few days before the other). I am very pleased with how everything was handled. Contact wasn't immediate but it was still quick and shipping wasn't a 24 hour turnaround, but also still swift in my opinion, especially considering the item at 12modern was significantly less than other online retailers. Both the pieces are exactly what I ordered and exactly as described. Overall I had a great experience and will purchase with 12modern again.

SCAMMERS!!

SCAMMERS!!! I have reported them to several agencies, but I still lost out on my money!!! Wish I had seen this site before ordering!!! I am going to contact "Call Curtis" from Channel 13 seeing how SO MANY of us have been victimized!!!
UPDATE: I felt an ethical obligation to let everyone know that I did receive my order after I made several complaints to several fraud complaint agencies and reported fraud to my bank. 12MODERN never did reach out to me, but I just wanted you all to know that I did receive my item eventually.

Scam Scam Scam

Like all the other reviews- DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. They are a scam. They do not answer customer service emails or phone calls. I wish I would of landed on this website before I ordered from 12 modern. I’ve written multiple emails and called the number listed on the website dozens of times and no one has gotten back to me. I was charged almost $800 for dining chairs and I didn’t receive all of the chairs.

Do not order from this company

Do not order from this company! I paid for a dresser and received an email from Patrick and Joshua that stated my order would be delayed. I called several times and left five emails and no response. I contacted my bank today to dispute the transaction. They are taking money and not shipping items. FRAUD!!!

Do not get anything from 12 Modern

Do not get anything from 12 Modern. Prices are attractive however you probably won’t get it! After a week of ordering and paying for some office furniture. I get an email from “Patrick”. Notifying me that my ordered won’t be available until mid July, if I wished to have my account open and wait for my product. I immediately emailed Patrick to call me, since I tried calling... all i got was a voice prompt to leave a message. Never heard back from anyone. I followed up with numerous emails letting 12 Modern know to cancel my order instead and expected timeframe of my refund/credit back my account. No response! After 6 days not hearing back from “Patrick” I decided to research the company and landed on this site. Reviewing everyone’s comments. A lot of people have experience the same thing. I immediate called my bank, addressed the situation and let the rep aware that it may have been a fraudulent transaction and feel I won’t be getting a refund anytime soon. They are going to investigate and should get back my money within 10 days or less. I advice anyone that’s going through my situation and haven’t gotten a call back or email from 12 Modern that you are best now to contact your bank and file a claim so they can help get you back your money. Have dates and amount ready, bank may ask when was your fist initial contact with 12 Modern. Hope this helps you either not buy nothing from them or helps you find a solution for getting back your money.
