I want my full money back of £509

I want my full money back of £509. I have been scammed by this company I brought an iPad Pro 11 inch on the 17th October and now the company has disappeared and emails aren’t being responded to. I will be taking things further, do not under any circumstances trust this company again. I’m hoping trust pilot doesn’t remove this review, I can confirm it is 100% genuine and have emails to prove purchase.

Devastated

After watching the website and trust pilot for weeks I finally did it and ordered my son a new phone. After everything this year with moving him school during lockdown and Covid I thought this would be an amazing treat.
Ruined my boys Xmas as I’m struggling to get my card to charge back when I shouldn’t get the product till 14th Dec even though we all know it’s not going to arrive.
Feel awful and adding more stress to an already stressful year!!

I can’t believe that I let myself get scammed by these people

I can’t believe that I let myself get scammed by a company like this! Please if you have ordered something from this website please start a chargeback or transaction dispute under section 75! Something! They don’t deserve to get away with what they have done! They have ruined many birthdays and Christmas’s!

I ordered my item on the 17th of November, even had email assurance that my item was on track for the specified delivery time! Then no more replies! Absolutely nothing only to find out the company has seized trading on the 20th of November.

Just really disappointed about the whole experience

Scam , and trustpilot has also been fallen prey to the scam

I am disputing the charge. Item that I ordered was never delivered and now they are asking for chargeback to be created via the company. I specifically have email comms to say that product was dispatched in November so where did it go? Surely scam.

Trust pilot also remove number of negative reviews at the request from 3pinproducts which allowed them to continue to keep hight trustpilot rating longer than possible (and continue to scam people)

I am also a victim of this scam but have learned 2 important lessons -
1. "If it looks to good to be true it probably is" - is a good rule in life which I will follow in future
2. I was persuaded this was a genuine offer based on a Trustpilot rating of 5* and 146 reviews that were all positive. I will not be trusting Trustpilot reviews in future!

Ordered an Iphone 11 and was prepared for a wait having traded with goods from abroad before. This was a scam that took our money and broke our trust.

Where is trust pilot on this??

Shame some organisation out there could not get a bit of KARMA on 3pinproducts for all the grief that they have caused.

please read, scam needs reporting

hello,
made the mistake of ordering a phone despite not having heard of company. as this page implies, lots of fake reviews which helped trick me. attempted to cancel order but told I could not. now owner of "company" had applied to remove registration of company at companies house where it is registered. Company registered under as:
TECH ELITE LTD
Company no. 12159881

if you want justice and feel you have been scammed please:
report at:
actionfraud (police) website
*as soon as possible*

and
contact your bank/card company

and
report to companies house and ask them to not allow the company to be struck off the company register as you have reported a crime has been committed (if it is struck off this may stop you getting your money back)

these things will only work if we all act.
I cant post links, but above come up with google.

Massive Mistake

I thought this was too good to be true. I hesitated before ordering.... gut instinct that’s all I can say. I have haven’t got a screen shot of what the website said. Anyone can send it to me? Just so I can send this to the credit card company.

Trouble is so many of them like this. Looks like we need to buy it from a reputable company.

Too good to be True

Hi there
I'm the one who believed in them either. Very Smart mind. Can I have the screen shot of the web site saying that they closed down their 'business'

The facts

I placed order for an 11” iPad Pro 128gb on 14th October 2020 and was prepared to wait for the iPad regarding the long delivery time due to the cost saving. This order was confirmed in an email on 15th October 2020.

I became concerned regarding the long delivery time particularly once the expected delivery window had opened on 12th November 2020 and requested a refund but the retailer stated:

“We explained at the time of your purchase, that the item was being shipped by container sea freight. This explains the variation in the ETA you & others have been given. You’ve purchased an item at a significant discount compared to the RRP, so to expect it to arrive within a week, is unrealistic”.

This response was on 18th November 2020.

The retailer has since closed down their website explaining that they had ceased trading, stating on the website:

“We regret to inform customers that we have ceased trading. We are unable to fulfil outstanding orders due to financial issues, so please contact your bank or credit card company to begin a chargeback. We will not dispute this request and you will receive a full refund. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. We wish you all a merry Xmas”*

The website does not now display this message and instead displays a 404 error message. This is the case as of 23rd November 2020.

I have now started to reclaim my money through my credit card company and, have as a precaution, cancelled the card used to make this purchase.

I am leaving my personal opinion of my negative experience to one side and I am leaving a one star rating so that others can make up their own mind regarding this retailer.

I made an order for iPhone pro max on…

I made an order for iPhone pro max on 23rd October, and I receive a confirmation email that my product has been dispatched and will arrive by end of November!
Today I tried t check it and get surprised that their page is down and found all these negative comments!
If the business is ceased, then they should send emails to all customers and tell them what will happen to their orders!
Need now to contact my bank to ask for refund. so disappointed

My experience: Just the facts

I am going to aim to make this review 100% factual so that it does not get taken down as I want to make it as useful as possible for everyone else coming here going through a similar experience and struggling for any concrete information:

1. I ordered an iPhone 11 on the 20th of October, over a month ago now.
2. Over the next 48 hours (20th and 21st of October) I emailed back and forth to the same email address provided on this Trustpilot page and responses were quick and regular
3. I was told that:
a. Despite my order not showing on my account it had been placed and order confirmation email would come through in 20-30 mins (I did receive a confirmation email eventually)
b. My order was being shipped from Australia and would take 25-35 business days.
c. The saving I had made on the RRP was reflected in the fact that the phone would take a while to arrive
d. My order had been dispatched and would arrive between the 18th November and 9th December
e. Regardless of which warehouse an item ships from, the customer receives a U.K. model with a full manufacturer warranty.
4. On the 20th of November I emailed the same email address to see if there was any update on my specific delivery day and received no response.
5. I then went to the website and saw just a ‘holding’ page in place of where the site used to be with the text:

“We regret to inform customers that we have ceased trading. We are unable to fulfil outstanding orders due to financial issues, so please contact your bank or credit card company to begin a chargeback. We will not dispute this request and you will receive a full refund. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. We wish you all a merry Xmas”*

*Note: this was printed twice at the top of the website

I have a copy of screenshot from no.5 (with the website URL in view) but don’t think can add an attachment to this review.

Like many others there is a lot more I could offer up around how I am feeling about this whole negative experience but, as I said at the start of the review, the most important thing is that it is definitely posted to help those who might need to see it.
