Terrible communication

Terrible communication. Was offered a contract two months ago and still have had nothing confirmed, with only one further piece of contact which asked if I had tried someone else. Was told I would be phoned, which never happened.

Avoid this company!! Communication Appalling

I ordered a new phone scheduled for delivery on 14th October. The phone has never arrived even though DPD suggested it was delivered on 17th October (No signature or photographic evidence) I contacted this company through live chat (Can't call and speak to anyone!!) I completed and returned all the forms they emailed to me on that day. On 20th October a further email suggested that I would receive the response to the outcome in 6 to 10 working days. Now 15 working days later and a month since the phone should have been delivered, I have no phone and no verbal communication from this company

I am sorry to hear you have not received your phone as of yet. We do take events such as this, where a handset has not made it to you in the correct time, very seriously, and we do raise an investigation with the couriers when this occurs. This can take up to 10 days usually for us to receive an update on this for you.

We offer the Live Chat service as this allows us to be available 9AM-9PM 7 days of the week, and we do have a team dedicated to calling customers if we are unable to resolve your query over the Live Chat service. Great customer service is a priority for us as a business, and we do aim to provide this to every customer.

I can see that the team are in the process of dealing with this and will be in touch with you with more information.

Absolutely appauling experience with…

Absolutely appauling experience with affordable mobiles, buy mobiles and their parent organisation A1 communication.
I was mis-sold a contract upgrade and have now waited 2 months for a refund of over £100.
Managers are rude and have no interest in solving any problems. Despite my ongoing complaint i receive daily sales texts.

I'm sorry to hear that you feel this way, Any refunds processed by A1 comms may take up 7-10 working days for any high street bank or 30 days for an online bank. Any refunds processed by a network will get refunded on your next billing date after a cancellation has finalised. If for any reason this has not happened, a customer is able to send a PDF copy of their bills into us and we can raise this with the network. The network cannot provide this information to A1 comms directly due to data protection which both A1 comms and the networks we work with take very seriously.

Here at A1 comms customer service and customer satisfaction are our number 1 priority, if a customer does not feel satisfied we are more than happy to review this and offer our help wherever we can. We can be contacted on social media 9am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday. Alternatively we can be contacted via our live chat service or by email 7 days a week 9am - 9pm, our amazing customer support team are always willing to help.

Ask for Mia McGowne!

Used these guys for the 2nd time & both times they have worked out cheaper than going direct to the network companies. I rang today as I can upgrade my contract with a new phone. Spoke to Mia McGowne who was excellent. She offered me a better contract, upgraded phone, CHEAPER than what I'm paying now!!! How often does that happen? And at the present time that's helpful. Definitely would recommend & use you guys again. Thank you Mia for honest, no hard sell attitude. I wish everyone was like you. Life would be much more pleasant.

Awful company

Awful company! Waited in all day for a delivery then get "sorry we missed you" when I raised this and explained I have cctv and the driver hadn't even attempted delivery I get "oh he couldn't find you we will try again tomorrow"

S22 Ultra

I ordered a Samsung s22 ultra on the 27th of May and I've not received the phone till now( June 24).
I've placed several calls to their contact number but I keep getting tossed about or keep being told I'd get my order in 48hrs. I need my refund. This is really bad and I wish I read reviews before placing the order.

Scammers, avoid at all costs.

Scammers, avoid at all costs. Paid for my order, they now say that there is something wrong with the address. There wasn't when I submitted it and the address is correct in my order confirmation. They asked me to call a Samsung support number. The team that pick up just redirect me to some other phone line that reads out marketing messages for 2 minutes and says "we are sorry the line is closed".

They also sent me a link to an order status page. That page has a phone number that tells me that the phone line is not available and that I should use the "contact us" button on the page. Guess what? No contact button on the page their tracking link sends me.

So they stole my £189.99 and it's impossible to get in touch. Avoid at any cost.

Worst Phone Company Ever

Do yourself a favour and don't order from here. Worst service I have ever used, I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.

I paid for a phone and they promised it would be delivered by a certain date. It never turned up, I have already paid a fee upfront, they didn't let me know that the phone had been delayed, the lady who I spoke with on the escalation team was very rude when she phoned me and they constantly phone me to try up sell products.

I thought it was worth saving a couple £ but the hassle is definitely not worth it. I haven't had any positive experiences with them.

They're a mobile phone company and their telephone line has been down for 3 weeks... that tells you everything you need to know.

As you can see from the reply from Lottee, it's a mobile phone company without access to a phone... PLEASE save yourself the hassle and stay away! The live chat is painfully slow, they constantly disconnect from you and mislead you.

I do not know what is goi g on but did…

I do not know what is going on but dpd have left a sticker on my deceased mothers front door with parcel number from A1 Comms. Looking at your sight I cannot see why my dead mother would order a new mobile phone after all she has been dead since 31st December. Her property is completely empty. Trouble I have dpd are insistent that I make arrangements to receive this order obviously I'm not going to but suggest A1Comms you check where, whom placed an order for said phone at SO41 0NP. Madness this world gets worse and worse. Following this review it appears that the wrong number was on the package and infact the order was for the property above my mothers flat. Therefore the matter is resolved I must add that A1Comms contacted me for further information and wanted to help with the matter - which is reassuring.

Do not touch with a barge pole!

This company appears to be associated with both Affordablemobiles and Buymobiles. Yesterday I applied for an iPhone 13 mobile phone with 02 contract, £149 payable up front. Having given my personal and bank details they sent two emails sent at exactly the same time. One confirming with the order no and one cancelling the order as the network apparently refused credit. BUT this company has taken the £149! Today I tried buymobiles for the same deal, having no idea that this company is also connected to A1 Comms … to be told that the network refused me again! I have now contacted my bank to be aware of another £149 being taken and also spoken with 02 about these companies and have asked about why my credit check has failed. Absolute scam!! I need the money that was taken illegally to be repaid immediately!!!!
UPDATE: I have completed the form requested by Lottie. We shall see what happens regarding my refund!

My daughter tried to get a contract…

My daughter tried to get a contract mobile through them on 17th March, I allowed her to use my card for the £49.99 upfront fee they said yes initially, then said no a couple of hours later, however I still haven’t received a refund!!!!!

Ordered phone 1 week ago for next day delivery. No phone yet and no contact to confirm when it will be available. They have taken £160 though. Website redirects to samsung site where it says phone may be available in april!

Potential scam! Keeps your money for 30days

My partner applied for an o2 contract on Samsung website. They took £160 from his bank, told him the contract had not been approved, and now are saying it will take 30days for money to be returned. We need that money! Surely this is a scam.

Excessive delay to receive my own money!!!

I made 3 plan attempts to get a cell phone, and in all three the money was withdrawn from my account!!
2 withdrawals of £28.99 made on 11/02 and 12/02 respectively and
1 withdrawal worth £941.99 (amount given as a down payment to have the cell phone) made on 02/17

However the plan was not authorized and the money was not returned!!
But I got an email saying it can take up to 30 days to get my money back.

An absurd wait to have what is already mine.

Be careful

Be careful. They will keep hold of your money for up to 30 days without delivering anything! Possible scam?? Not happy as I found this rubbish being recommended on Martin Lewis website!
