Totally unsatisfactory delivery
My furniture that was delivered on Thursday and despite paying to be placed “in the room of choice” was dumped (sofa & 2 chairs upside down) outside my back door. The delivery driver promised he would return and assist in moving the 3 boxes but he then ignored 5 phone calls from me (despite knowing my number as he previously answered a call saying he would return to move the items).
I rang customer services 5 times the following day (Friday) commencing at 08:30am (speaking to 5 different people who’s names I have), only to the told at 4pm that they would not be able to come back and move the furniture into my house….. it rained Thursday and Friday the packaging was wet through, but luckily the furniture was well packed and is undamaged . I am appalled at the lack of service/action from the people I spoke to and in particular the driver ( who’s name I have) who left the furniture and then ignored all phone calls from me and did not return as he promised to move the furniture.

Waiting for my £120 special delivery refund
I had paid £120 in advance to have the item installed, doing this there was an agreement date this could happen. On arrival the delivery team said they are not able to build the item. Then kept asking for the code, to confirm they has done as requsted, needless to say I could not hand that over.

The delivery was absolutely flawless. The delivery team were the true crème de la crème - professional, friendly, helpful and courteous throughout. Everything was handled with great care and the whole process could not have gone more smoothly. A genuinely excellent service.

I have a standard sized front door
I have a standard sized front door. The box was about 1 cm too wide. Only my son was at home the box would have been left at my door step. I'm disabled and would have been incapable of moving it.
Can I suggest to the manufacturer that the chair be split into 2 lots so that it fits through all doors.

Bed delivery and Installation
The delivery guys had extreme BO. They blocked my autistic son in the bathroom with the bed that they were delivering. They took forever to assemble the bed and then they missed a vital part of the installation - they didn't even give me a chance to sign off the inspection - they signed it off themselves - I was not impressed with this service at all.
