Jack called to see if i still wanted to talk about fixing a window at the front of my house.
When I confirmed my interest.
He then said. "Its owned by you and your husband?"
I said, "no i own it."
He said, "oops sorry I married you off. No partner then?"
I said, "no i do, but its my house."
He said, "well we like to see you together."
I said, "Well its my house. He doesn't own it."
He insisted.
I said lets cancel this.
I won't be going with your company ever. No matter what deals you have.
Next I'll need a man to sign for me to have a credit card or open a bank account...

Would recommend
We had the fascia’s, soffits, guttering replaced and also the conservatory roof changed from Perspex to tiled. Reasonably priced in comparison to other companies, work completed as scheduled and property and us as the homeowners, respected. Clean and clear at the end of each day of work was very much appreciated.
In my opinion, a five star experience and job completed to our five star satisfaction.

Obliging Company
New door and window replacement in 3 rooms. I had set my heart on a particular door I had seen but AWR didn’t do anything similar. I asked if they could mimic the one I liked and without breaching any copyright, they designed a very similar door for me.
I had been given a date for installation but this was pushed on for a month due to not being able to acquire the glass needed for the door. Installation on the day was quick and efficient.
Two days later, we realised the fitters had not fit the cappits (we’re renovating this house so everywhere is a mess and we’d overlooked the cappits).
AWR came to fit the cappits a week later saying cappits were on the order but mustn’t have been on the fitters’ work sheet.
The only thing I would say is communication is a little erratic. One day contacting me, another day my husband and no communication regarding installation day re: confirmation or timing. This was on a Tuesday after a Monday bank holiday and needed to move furniture etc.
We are pleased with the work. All in all a good company.

They arrived at 8.30 ish , they took a day to complete the soffits , fascia’s and guttering. Both guys was very friendly and polite, and left everything clean and tidy,

Appalling Customer Services.
We have spent a lot of money with AWR (2bay windows ,6 other windows & a composite door .) When a pane in one of the bay windows suddenly shattered , I immediately phoned AWR ,naively thinking that our loyalty & our 10 year warranty would be fine.
A gentleman came out & took photographs & measurements & said he would send the details to the factory that day, & Customer Services would let me know when the window would be fitted.
After 9 days I phoned Customer Services to see if they could give me an approximate date for the fitting. I was told I had to pay up front! I was angry & said I would never use AWR again , & would never recommend them to anyone else , but if I had to pay I had to pay & could they give me a date for the fitting. i was then told that the glass had not yet been ordered!! This really infuriated me & I said I could not believe that 9 days had elapsed & I had not been contacted at all. I was then told that my attitude was aggressive & that if I continued to complain, the phone would be put down on me. I replied that I was a retired teacher & knew my manners & the "gentleman "replied that if I was teaching his kids & spoke in that manner, he would report me to the head teacher .He then switched me straight through to the factory.
The window has now been fitted but I will never use this company again.Loyalty & a 10 year warranty count for nothing, & I think the way I was spoken to by Customer Services was absolutely appalling.

Had a new back door fitted today by your company.A lovely young man called Luke came to do the job. He was polite, respectful and an extremely good worker. He did an excellent job on my door, it looks brilliant. I was so impressed that I have ordered new french doors to be fitted to my property as well. I would definitely recommend this firm. I am more than happy.

Excellent sales canvasser
Had a really polite guy called Michael arrange for me to have a quote, after speaking to the office to confirm. A sales rep turned up who was a little eager to make a sale but was very professional and we agreed on a fair price. Very happy with the final outcome, my windows look brilliant the workmen did clean up and I am very pleased. Would recommend and use again.

Very disappointed with my overall…
Very disappointed with my overall experience with this company. Windows and doors were fitted well but no internal windows sills replaced, so brand new windows and 20 year old sills which now look hideous, had to ask for my patio blinds back as the fitter had removed them and took them to the van for himself, he also asked for the window and door keys for the old ones removed as they like to reuse them? Loads of rubbish and empty silicone bottles left in the gutters and a broken roof tile. I have contacted them 4 times now by email and phone, sent photos of the rubbish left and had many promises to follow-up, all have been in vain. Managed to get through to someone today who said an appointment is booked for the 3rd of June to empty the rubbish out the gutters. When I asked when was you going to let me know she said she wasn't sure why i hadn't been told, when i asked about the window sills she said they don't do internal sills. Very unprofessional company only interested in taking your money and not providing a service or product worthy of the price charged. Birkhead De21 6pz

Main contact was Louise, she was brilliant. On fitment one window was cracked in transit, had to wait 10 days for it to be replaced. Main issue was that when the fitters finished, they left with cleaning up. They left my front room and porch littered with build debris, dust and bits of plastic. Took me 2 hrs to clean up their mess
