Using amaysim in Australia has worked relatively well. However, while overseas recently my phone was stolen. And with it my ability to receive security codes to log into some apps and to see if anyone... See more

Worst mobile network in Australia
Worst mobile network in Australia. 4g hardly online. Incoming call even does not work
Ripped off
I have been using Amaysim for 3 years and will cancel my plan after this month to move to a better provider. Every time a payment fails, they IMMEDIATELY cancel your plan. One payment failed to come through so I put some money on my card and restarted my plan the same day but they already had deleted the over 700 GB !!!! of data I had accumulated in my data bank even though they initially said it is just "frozen". Disgusting lies.
What a different provider this is
What a different provider this is. The plans are already great value !
Amaysim sent me a reminder that my phone will no longer be supported on their 3g network.
With that reminder came an offer for a free phone. A P650 64gb was in my hand a week later. Even the postage was free.
A refreshing surprise that one seldomly gets from any aussie business. Thanks Amaysim, well done.
Very easy to setup, use and monitor
Very easy to setup, use and manage my account and the kids accounts. Never even had to talk to anyone about anything. It's all that straight forward that you don't ever need to talk to anyone!
Coverage is great and the easy top up and monitoring allows me to keep an eye on the kids spends.
Worst service. Good luck
Completely unscrupulous and irresponsible company who blamed my bank for overcharging me, my new cell for the poor reception and delayed texts and even the network provider for others not receiving msgs. I blame MYSELF for choosing Amasim, I feel utterly taken for a ride and ashamed to have put business trust in them.
--> Like a cheap airline this painful company is fine when everything is set up and luckily runs smoothly, But don't expect any help or conveniences if you have even the most minor queries or issue with their cheap and convoluted services.
Very happy customer
I joined Amaysim in 2012 and am a very happy customer. Their prices are super reasonable compared with the bigger players, it’s pretty reliable and I’ve always found the customer services guys respond quickly if there’s ever a problem (which is rare).
I’ve encouraged my family and a couple of friends to move to them and none have opted to leave, which says it all I think. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough.
Amaysim suss
I live in darwin australia. I literally gave my number to my 3 closest friends. And I get a call from a private number. Who are Amaysim selling our numbers to ?
Maybe they should be called AmaySpam.
Fantastic and really reliable!
Amaysim have really good plans that are very reliable and simple, and they get better every year. 4G coverage is fantastic and speeds are great, and you can always be assured that you will never run out of data with the generous amounts they give you.
When I started last year in February with the $30 and 30GB plan, that was really great. As time went on they upgraded it to 45GB at no extra cost, and rolled out a data bank which means that any unused data from any month can be used if you run out on your monthly allowance. Really good stuff.
Overall, it's a very friendly and reliable provider and if you're already paying the same price at a different provider that doesn't do what amaysim does, make yourself at home.
Amazing service and awesome benefits!
Amaysim is one of the best prepaid providers I have ever used!
I was paying 10 dollars for only 2GB of data but during the lockdown period, they changed my plan to the Unlimited 4GB plan at no extra cost! And they also gave me 10GB+5GB of data during the lockdown period, essentially giving me 19GB of data.
And what is even better is that they gave me 15% off my next 3 renewals which is awesome.
I would recommend amaysim to anyone looking for a SIM-only plan and as a matter of a fact, I even convinced my dad to use amaysim for 1 month so that he could eventually switch back to his old provider.
Reliable and excellent service.
I tried Amaysim for my new phone and found the service and reception was awesome. My second phone was with Vodafone and after having their service for many years I found the past two years have been terrible reception wise. My internet was slow and calls kept disconnecting. I decided to toss Vodaphone and now have Amaysim for both.Porting was a breeze and I couldn't be happier. Love the service and the little extra treats. Excellent provider.
I got better deals with Amaysim than....
Switching to Telstra was my biggest regret! I got better deals nd speed with Amaysim at a lower cost. Internet speed is decent to good but much better than what Im getting now from the other network
Really easy to setup
Really easy to setup. Even when I needed to clarify something the details on FAQs were easy to find and service when I have needed to talk to someone was brilliant.
Ive only had good thing to say about…
Ive only had good thing to say about amaysim. It's to me a low cost carried that works. I login and pay and they give me great data and calls at affordable rates. If I have a tech issue I know it's not them but the manufacturer that I can deal with so I pair this with my pixel and I'm a very happy camper
I was looking over my current plan and…
I was looking over my current plan and thinking of upgrading from 55GB I however decided it was enough and it was due for auto renew in 11 days time. I hit the wrong button and it renewed they of course charge me again I sent a message stating I had made a mistake and why on earth would I renew a plan thats on auto renew. They said tough luck buddy the money is ours robbing grubs stay away from these money hungry grubs
I really miss Amaysim
I really miss Amaysim after I joined Telstra for only two days. What a bad decision I’ve made to switch to Telstra. I’ve got a Telstra deal from JB-Hifi and then switched to Telstra. After that, I tried to register the Telstra ID but had some technical issues. I tried to reach the support via live chat (this is the only way I can reach the support) but put me on hold for half an hour after someone asked some more details.
I have been with Amaysim for five years since I arrived Australia. They have way better customer services than Telstra and cheap plans including unlimited international text and calls. What a wonderful service provider.
My plan with Telstra is one year contract. I will definitely switch back to Amaysim after one year.
Really happy with Amaysim
Really happy with Amaysim! Plans are so affordable and I constantly receive bonuses. The coverage could improve a lite but it's such a small issue in comparison to the overall service.
Internet drops out at least twice a day…
Internet drops out at least twice a day (often more) and Google TV streaming often plagued with very poor streaming rates, often making it impossible to watch a show. Performance appears to have deteriorated since Amaysim took over service from previous provider.
Stay Away!
Just shocking experience with their energy offering. It’s finally ended with them chucking out their energy business and handing it over it to AGL.
Shocking customer service. Fuk em
Long Term Very Happy Customer
I have been an Amaysim mobile customer for some 10 years now, and their service has always been first class. During this covid-19 pandemic, they have repeatedly increased my data limit without any request from me, which has made working from home so much more convenient.
Great customer service approach, well done.
Awesome deals at a low cost.
I found a link to get 200gb a month for only $40.
And now due to the corona stuff going on, they are giving me unlimited data for 2 months.
They use Optus so the range is pretty good out in country Victoria.
I have compared their download speeds to Telstra during the day in my small town and their is no comparison. Telstra drops to a speed that is so slow its almost unusable. Amaysim rarely fall below what I have found to be not far under NBN speeds.
