Refusal to be able to speak with managers / Supervisors / Compliants

Absolute Unacceptable behavior from the call center staff hung up multiple times, did not resolve the issue, Amazon were due to collect an item on the 03/12/2025 between 10:30am to 8 pm at night and never arrived, after contacting them they then rebooked this to the 03/14/2025 and again no one arrived that's two days of wasted time, upon contacting them on the 17/03/2025 had no resolved to my issue then they said they would no longer collect the items and i had to return them myself, after asking to speak to a manager or complaints teams i was hung up on multiple times.

paid for an item that never arrived, amazon refusing refund

Don't bother buying from Amazon unless you want to pay and never receive your items.

Bought a graphics card from Amazon ES marketplace, over a month and half later it still has not arrived and Amazon won't refund me. I claimed for a refund but the seller 'cancelled' it on their end claiming the item had been 'delivered.'

The seller couldn't provide proof of delivery so they quickly changed their tune to 'your address is wrong', even though the item I bought was in a batch order with other products and every single one of the other products from various sellers arrived with no problem. All were using the same address. Meanwhile, DHL have informed me that the tracking number given to me by the seller doesn't exist.

It's now the 17th March, my item still has not arrived and I'm still waiting on my 800 euro refund. The seller won't respond and each time I call Amazon their customer reps tell me 'sorry the computer system won't let me escalate the issue.' What a joke.

Amazon deceived me and sent a used item at a higher price than new!

Amazon Spain: A Nightmare Experience – Cancellations, Delays, and a Used Product Instead of New
I have been an Amazon customer for years, but my recent experience with Amazon Spain (Amazon.es) has been nothing short of a disaster. I never expected such poor service, constant issues, and outright deception from a company that prides itself on customer satisfaction.

1. Orders Canceled Without Explanation
It all started when I placed an order worth over €1,000. After a few hours, my order was canceled without explanation, and the products disappeared from my account history. I then received an email stating that my account showed "suspicious activity," forcing me to reset my password and add my phone number.

2. Hours Spent in Customer Support – No Help Given
I reached out to Amazon support, spending over an hour in chat trying to understand what was happening. Finally, I was able to place my order again. But five hours later, Amazon canceled it AGAIN—without a reason. My money was held for days, and I was left without the items I had urgently needed.

3. Amazon Gave Me a Gift Card – Only to Scam Me Later
After several hours of back-and-forth with support, Amazon offered me a gift card to compensate for the price change of one of my items. But I now believe that this was a trick to make me think they were helping while secretly making things worse for me.

4. Another Week of Empty Promises and Ignored Messages
When I asked for real help, Amazon ignored me for 7 days, constantly telling me to "wait 48 hours" for a response—which never came. Meanwhile, one of the items I originally ordered went out of stock, and the price of another one increased.

5. Finally, a Product Arrives – But It's USED and OVERPRICED!
After waiting more than a week, the only item that finally arrived were pc coolers. However, when I received it, it was clearly used:

The box was badly resealed with tape
The cables were dirty and covered in glue
The wires inside had dust on them
When I checked my order details, I saw that Amazon had secretly changed the listing to "Amazon Second Hand", even though:

I had paid the FULL PRICE for a NEW product
My order confirmation email stated that it was sold as NEW by Amazon EU
To make things even worse, when I checked my payment details, I noticed that Amazon had overcharged me! The order summary showed that the cooler should have cost me 2,500 UAH (Ukrainian Hryvnia), but they actually charged me 3,100 UAH—conveniently the exact amount of the "gift card compensation" they gave me earlier.

6. Amazon Support’s "Solution" – More Insults
When I complained about the used product and the overcharge, Amazon offered me a ridiculous 7€ refund and told me to "just return the product"—after making me wait 10 days for delivery. I then asked to escalate the issue to a supervisor, but they just gave me the same scripted response and ignored my concerns about being scammed by Amazon itself.

Conclusion: Amazon Spain Is Dishonest and Has No Customer Support
I have wasted over 5 hours dealing with Amazon support, and all I got was canceled orders, delayed deliveries, ignored messages, a used product instead of a new one, and money stolen from me. Amazon refuses to take responsibility and treats customers like garbage.

Amazon's Flimsy Packaging Ruined My Order – Disappointed!

I ordered some Peugeot salt and pepper grinders to give as a birthday present. Firstly the item was NOT delivered to my address but required me to collect it from a DpD parcel point 7 km away. Secondly, and far worse, the items were posted in a mere paper bag which needless to say arrived torn resulting in the Peugeot bistro salt and pepper mills presentation box also arriving torn and damaged. In the state that I received it I cannot give it as a birthday present to anyone. I have also discovered today that due to the shoddy packaging the salt mill does not work properly. Expected more from Amazon!!

Bait and Switch by Amazon.com

If there was anyway to give Amazon.com a No Star rating I would. Most of my dealing with Amazon.com were other suppliers selling goods through Amazon.com with very little incidents of returns over the thousands of orders that I have placed in the past. However, in February of this year 2025 I thought I was buying a Shark Rug Cleaner from Shark through Amazon.com. Well, lesson # 1 check the Invoice and Details of the order always. Here comes the FRAUD part. Amazon.com has a division Called Amazon Services and hidden in Amazon Services is Amazon Resale. I ordered a new Shark Rug Cleaner as described on the website. I click and bought it without printing the Invoice and Details of the sale. When I got the product in which the box was somewhat damaged the contents were ok, So I proceed to put it together and test it. At the bottom of the box there was a sticker on the Manual of which I didn’t find until it was put together, (meaning I attached the handle) that said this unit had no manufactures warranty. What? What did I buy????? Amazon.com page had no mention of NO WARRANTY on this product. So I checked the invoice and it now says Amazon Resale as the seller. What?? Who are they?? They have changed the seller twice and the description of the sale twice. Changed from Amazon.com to Amazon Services to Amazon Resale. What is that about???? Calling Amazon.com Customer Service to complain where I got more run around and an agreement that if I put the refund on the gift card I would get it within 2 hours of pickup buy UPS. Then they change that to when they get it. And again changed to to 15-30 days less return costs????? A complete reversal of what was promised. As of this post I haven’t received the guaranteed refund of $319.xx . I most likely will have to charge it back if I don’t get a refund when they receive the item back. Lesson learned 1) Print out everything regarding your transaction with Amazon.com 2) DO NOT BUY Shark Products from Amazon.com you will not be happy with the bate and switch on Shark products. 3) They do not disclose the return policy until you ask to return the item. The policy is completely different from the standard refund process. 3) Print out the buy page as a jpeg file. 4) Be ready to charge back onto your credit card company. This process can take up to 90 days as the bank investigates. 5) Find other suppliers to purchase expensive items like Carpet cleaners that are not SOLD BY AMAZON.COM. 6) investigate other sellers and if possible buy from the manufacturer. It is harder to return a product to some manufacturers, so buyer beware. I am on a mission now to buy less from Amazon.com. I am truly disappointed in the company. Since Covid-19 the company has deteriorated in Customer Services quite a bit, but this incident does take the cake. This is how far that have fallen. They think that they are TO BIG TO FAIL. If you have experiences like this post them to Trust Pilot. Thank you Trust Pilot, and those readerships.

Changed laptop price hours after I bought it

I paid for a laptop which I really needed in Amazon Spain. Hours after, they changed the price to 130 euros less. It is so unfair, I needed to use this laptop and now I have to return it, because it is not normal. Customer service and employees have been the less kind beings I have met in a while, acting passive-agressively and not offering other solutions than RETURNING the product and buying it again. Where are those eco policies you boast of, Amazon? Unnecessary petrol, packaging and much more... Dissapointing. I have been their regular customer for about ten years. Your loyalty will not be compensated in a monster company like this, which only cares about money and which employees are not happy.

Amazon.es doesn't refund returns or refused deliveries!

shoes were returned and claimed not to have been received, a book delivery was refused but was then not received back by amazon. they screw you over and you have no recourse. customer service is consistently horrible. just horrible. this is what happens when monopolies dilute competition. ____ amazon!

Item ordered and paid for. Shown as handed to resident but never received.
Registered a complaint via chat but then account was cancelled without notice so I can no longer contact them. DO NOT USE AmazonES.

Have shopped for the last time on Amazon.com! Ordered 31- 12- 2024 today is 24-02-2025 have not received either goods or money back, their chat is like talking to a retard (AI) talking to customer service you are sent around from one to another with no results other than you get an email where you have to specify everything that Amazon already has, plus a tracking number I never received! I am really pissed off, will never shop on Amazon.com again

Custome Service is a scam

I will never use AmazonES anymore! I ordered 2 Sony headphones, I returned the more expensive, they refund me the less expensive! Prepare yourself to discuss with like 20 people who will not understand a word of the mistake they made. Their Customer Service is a nightmare, a true scam!

Why all these bad reviews? Never had an unpleasant experience

I really don't know what is up with these really bad reviews. Yes some products suck, but the customer service is amazing, use the chat, and you will get the perfect help. I have more than 150 orders on amazon as private person, and not a finger to point. - The only bad thing is when they use Paack or Correos for delivery, (THEY SHOULD STOP THAT THOUGH) but those reviews belong to other pages, not amazon. If the product doesn't meet the expectation, they will simply help you out. Go to customer section, ask for help, and then more help. Voila* and there is a sweet agent to help you out in the chat. (In english too for foreigners as my self) I have never left customer service, and not been satisfied. Besides that, if you want to make sure they can help you with the product - Look for items that is included with Prime.. Third party orders have their own customer services, which may vary.. I give them 5 stars, because i use amazon for everything possible, i just know, there won't be any unexpected issues nor lost money or items. - It's the internet, just read what you are purchasing, and you won't be fooled.

Good site

Good site, nice filters, but support.... You can easily order everything you want. but if there are any questions about tecnical process of the shipment or ypunjust wanna reach the suppport it always turns out to be a problem. I just dont understand such attitude toward your customers, it ruins company's reputation

Through and through unacceptable

Through and through unacceptable, I spent thousands of Euro in the past year because of a move, but the amount of issues and stress amazon SPAIN causes, is unbelievable. They don't manage to deliver to my home address, so I chose a locker for most items, while for 80 percent of items I want, it says "can't deliver to this pick up station" though I ALWAYS only chose "delivery by amazon".
Items often come VERY late, and all in different packages, there is 0 reason to pay for prime. (also not for the movies, they are a joke, and most no subtitles, nor the current American movies available, nor standard classic movies.)
The locker: last time, I couldn't get my items without help, because they were shoved to the very back of the highest locker compartment and there was no way I could reach it.
Now: my locker door didn't open and that locker was rusty and damaged and scratched, We tried 10 times, it is too damaged to open.
I contacted customer service about it, I spent over 1 hour all in all with them, only to get standard copy paste replies, and the only solution they EVER have, is a refund.
They don't notify the right compartment, they don't look for a solution (how hard can it be to notify the delivery in the SAME company that they should move the packages into an different locker compartment?).
Amazon Spain NEVER tries to facilitate delivery by rerouting the items for delivery.
I didn't receive like almost half of my ordered items that way.
Customer service (English speaking) is only Indian African call center, with people pasting the same flattery messages wasting time, no comprehension or thinking abilities whatsoever.
Not 1 real customer service representative available for real support. Neither in chat nor in E-Mail. Spanish customer service also doesn't offer e-mail anymore.
It used to be better years ago, now it is really unuseable.
ALSO: amazon itself is like a bazar, half of the items I DO receive in the end, have been used before! Many items are pure crap, and there is also no "is it true to size" feature for shoes anymore. So I had to send back pairs of shoes as well as one number off. I didn't have this issues ordering from Amazon UK.
Negative reviews of myself often are NOT published, so this explains it, why I had no warnings either for the ones I ordered.
PRICES not better either, for example, sketchers sneakers are cheaper in a brick and mortar store than on amazon. Amazon own brands are expensive, too, on amazon Spain.
What a waste of time. Nothing but issues, stress and disappointments.
In short: I will avoid using it whenever possible, much easier and more efficient now to drive myself to a store, esp. when pick-up not working.

Beware of ordering from Amazon.es

Less than a month ago I placed an order for a smartphone, a smartphone cover and a screen protector on Amazon.es (this was my first time using the platform). I did so because the smartphone was fairly cheaper compared to other Amazon platforms such as Amazon.de and Amazon.it (which I have used before). While the phone cover and screen protector were being provided by a 3rd party seller the actual smartphone was sold and fulfilled by Amazon. After 2 weeks of waiting the the cover and screen protector had arrived by the final day of the estimated delivery date, the phone failed to be dispatched at all. After all this waiting I had sent multiple emails and started multiple chats to get an idea of if/when the phone would ship. I got very inconsistent emails with numerous mistakes, promises of escalation which never occurred and, low and behold, in the end the order was cancelled from my account and a refund issued, without me ever requesting such a cancellation to occur and with no prior warning. The justification on their end was that the item took too long to dispatch and now I'll have the freedom to reorder the item to get it as soon as possible. This didn't make sense to me as it was still being ordered and dispatched by the same provider so nothing was really going to change. Moreover the price of the item had increased substantially and on top of that I would have to pay the ground shipping fee for placing a new order. The response from customer care was the same as it had been previously, no help or recompense was offered, I was just encouraged to reorder the item over and over again. I asked to escalate the issue to which I received the reply that the customer care agents superiors would not be able to offer a different outcome. I nonetheless persisted. While awaiting a reply, which wasn't coming, I noticed the price went back down and proceeded to reorder the smartphone. I contacted customer care and told them I was successful in reordering the item at the previously listed price and I was just looking for a refund of the shipment price of my previous order and for someone to make sure my new order would actually ship this time. The reply I received was to my previous queries and ignored this new bit of information. At present, I am still waiting for the smartphone to ship (this is once again meant to be sold by and fulfilled directly by Amazon) and I have no reply to my request for shipment refund. My impression: I have serious doubts that the order will ever be dispatched, I believe that these orders are never fulfilled and routinely deleted by Amazon with the hopes that people like me will give in and re-order it at a higher price, I believe customer care is powerless to do anything and are discouraged from offering any real help or information in the matter. I doubt I will ever be compensated for the extra money I paid for shipping or the time I wasted waiting (as has been done with previous issues I had on other platforms such as Amazon.de, which offer excellent customer service). I do hope I am mistakened, and if so will post an edit to this review, but at present I have no real reason to think otherwise. My advice, avoid Amazon.es if you can, what they are doing is shady best and at worst amounts to fraud.

UPDATE: After a week or so of waiting with no indication that my item was going to be dispatched (despite paying for expedited shipping) I gave up and cancelled the order. I placed it again on Amazon.de and after a few days of no updates I contacted their customer service which immediately responded and escalated my concerns and within a few hours changed distributor to a faster one so I could get my package sooner. This is an example of how much better their customer service is than the disgrace that is Amazon.es.

spoiled food

I was sold 20 bags of spoiled, rancid hazelnuts that emit a foul, paint-like odor and are labeled with an incorrect best-before date. I have contacted Amazon.es multiple times since 15DEC2024. Despite responding to over 7 emails and making several phone calls, the issue remains unresolved as of 28JAN2025.

Absolutely disappointing

Absolutely disappointing! I bought this water flosser thinking it would be a good solution for daily dental care, but after just 10 months of use, it broke without any warning! A product that should last over time turned out to be a scam, unusable after very little time. But the worst part was Amazon's behavior: not only was the product defective, but when I sought support, I felt completely abandoned! No assistance, no solution. Amazon did nothing to help me resolve the issue or offer a refund. I was left to deal with my failed purchase with no protection.

I highly advise against buying this water flosser; it's a terrible product and customer support is non-existent. Not only did I lose money, but I also wasted time and patience. Definitely avoid it!

Great product

Great product, lots of products at reasonable pricing. I couldn't imagine living without. They don't have good refund process online, which is annoying. However, calling in and with a little persistence things are made right.

I bought a Sony ZV-E1 camera, and Amazon sent me a Sony ZV-E10. The box is from the ZV-E1, inside is a manual for the ZV-E1, and the camera body itself is a different model, much cheaper (5 times cheaper) - E10.
