The nightmare of canceling Amazon Prime
After months of trying to cancel the automatic debit from a previous Amazon Prime contract, I lost hope. The only solution Amazon offered me was to cancel my debit card and issue a new one. Now I know why Jeff Bezos is so rich and Amazon is so valuable. It is easy to achieve this by stealing money from customers.
Amazon has only rights
Amazon has only rights, no responsibilities.
In one case Amazon cancelled an order with no explanation - no compansation or even apology.
Another order of 4 power tools that arrived without the chargers, they claim that I am right and the items should have included chargers but they will not supply them and if I'm not happy I can send it back.
Decleor Scam
Until recently Amazon were fine. My complaint is that they continue to sell Decleor products since the company stopped selling officially in the UK.
As I couldn’t get their products any other way I ordered through Amazon which I had done in the past with no problems. However it seems some companies are now selling fake decleor products in the decleor packaging. On 2 occasions I bought Neroli oil and neither were the real thing. I complained to Amazon but they directed me to the companies concerned. 2 different companies btw
I then bought an expensive decleor moisturiser from yet another supplier. Same thing.
This is just a warning to other Decleor fans. Go to France if you want Decleor.
Amazon sucks when dealing with issues
Amazon is easy to use when everything works but as soon there is a an issue (no matter how small) it all collapse.
An company this big and you cant get anyone to speak to, not even a chat... Unless your issues falls within the frames of the most common fault you are screwed.
Promised me a refund but went back on their promise
They promised if I bought an item that was overpriced that they would refund me the difference. I have screenshots of our chat. After buying and picking up the item, I contacted them about the refund and they said nope not refunding the difference. Wow. The item was a Christmas gift for a child and now I will have to find something else. Will be taking my business elsewhere. Never again.

Amazon's policies are clear for you to see on our website, Robin. This is what the help page I shared says about this: if an item is out of stock, you may not get it in two business days. Faster shipping reduces transit time but doesn't impact the order preparation time. Shipping time starts when the item ships.
As such, items that are readily available to be shipped will arrive two business days later

Poor experiences
Ok, Amazon. You've got a website, a data center and the logistics up to forward orders and send a parcel that can be tracked. So far so good. We know this is based on exploitation of various resources and we shop anyway.
But you've also got people on board who obviously don't like to see a detailed review with a picture why the product I bought does not match my expectations because it broke after a few minutes usage. So you keep rejecting a low rating, pointing at your ridiculous community guidelines which basically say: We only want you to say good things.
The other option is, to downrate just anything without giving a detailed explanation. You can have that, sure.
Sorry, Amazon. Other platforms do better. Now the other thing is: because your constant bugging and mail ads get on my nerves as well, I am thinking of closing my account. You are going to lose me as a customer.
Returns and refunds
The past two months I've had to contact Amazon numerous times about items falsely being returned about refunds being in my account for items I didn't return I didn't even initiate. The elevation teams in return teams telling me one thing and sending me bogus emails and then charging my account later on there's some illegal activity going on and I'm not sure if it's from the seller or Amazon and I know I'm not the only one if you go on Reddit You see I'm not if you're checking your bank account every day being meticulous about every single penny you might even get double charged for Amazon prime I don't get why this is happening but it's not good like I said there should be some legalities behind this .
Sudden cancellation of orders after 11 days of waiting.
n November 3rd I made two orders (406-6205744-7415524 for 545.8 euros, 406-7853729-7648361 for 272.9 euros, total for 818.7 euros, both seller and delivery person are Amazon itself), when ordering I was informed that I would receive the goods today, 11/14/2024.
I was ready to wait these 11 days, as the price of the goods suited me.
Today is 11/14/2024 and I was expecting to receive the long-awaited goods, but suddenly instead today I received emails that both orders were unilaterally canceled by Amazon today due to the lack of goods.
As a result, I wasted a lot of time, while I could not spend 818.7 euros buying goods elsewhere, as this money was stuck in Amazon.
Big disappointment.

I payed van insurance and fuel worked for nothing even in despate times don't work here because they use you to run there business.
Another scam Chinese seller - 5* reviews inaccurate.
Another internet giant forgoing client service for fees (wonga). Besos trying to rule space? Another Chinese supplier with extended delivery timescale - 6 days. Showing as item despatched, reached local warehouse & then 24 hrs later message explaining delivery extended by another 3 days??!! Not 24hr per agreement.

Basically Jeff, your staff members in the Management Team/Complaints, Janine, Rohit and Tejal pushed me so much to the point where by as a long standing customer furnishing your pockets with money for many years - after the final straw yesterday I have now cancelled my subscription and will not be spending anymore of my money at Amazon. Review would be a ZERO if Trust Pilot gave the option so you are lucky with just one. Not that you could give a s#@t
FRAUDULENT DELIVERY DRIVER (S)
So I’m waiting for my delivery to come,
I’ve specifically ticked the none of above delivery safe places as there is none due to being in a block of flats,
Also stated to knock my door hard or ring bell and possibly wait a bit longer to answer due to a disability.
Then I get a notification stating item delivered and handed to resident.
Blatant fraudulent lies as no delivery person has being to my premises and handed me my item, I’ve checked around the other landings and nothing to be found.
NO!! Photo proof like they usually do either.
I had exactly the same last week as well but that stated actually handed to me in person and my name to, again fraudulent lies but luckily I found that one but still the driver fraudulently claimed he or she handed it to me in person AGAIN.
So I go to the report section and decided that i actually wanted to speak to someone and not a robot as they normally do.
Now in all fairness the man I spoke to was brilliant and when i explained that what the driver is doing is basically fraud he’s actually raised a case as like I’ve already said this isn’t the 1st time I’ve had this kind of incident with their drivers falsifying delivery statuses.
Now I do understand that the delivery drivers have a massive work load,but to say handed to resident and they blatantly haven’t and the item is nowhere to be found is definitely not on, especially if it’s an expensive item or say a birthday present ect because now I’ve got to wait 2 days for a replacement to be sent out.
I’m assuming it’s the same delivery man who lied before about handed to resident and also handed to my name in full as normally the prime drivers actually knock my door and hand the items to me.
So for this and the other incident I’m actually giving it zero stars.
The drivers who actually do do their job correctly it’s obviously 5 stars
And definitely without a doubt to the customer services agent I spoke to about these issues is a 5 stars as well as he totally agreed with my concerns about the delivery driver falsifying delivery status’s and fraudulently stating handed to resident.
How much money amazon must lose because of snidey delivery drivers not delivering items I don’t know,
But hopefully this won’t get brushed under the carpet so to say and the delivery man/woman is pulled in about their fraudulent actions.
I’m 100% sure I’m not the only person who has had this kind of incident happen either,but if you do then request advisor on the automated bot thing and it will give you an option of chat or phone back,if you request a phone back you’ll have it almost immediately as I did.
The more people who actually report the fraudulent actions then maybe with a bit of luck they will ALL do their jobs correctly.
And as for the genuine delivery men/women who do actually do it correctly I honestly respect you all the way and it’s a-shame a few bad eggs can give the delivery service such bad reviews,so this review is in no way aimed at yourselves, just the dodgy delivery drivers who ALL need weeding out and given their p45’s the rats.

Amazon simply cancelled an item saying it was not available. This was done 10 days after the confirmation of my order. The item was part of so-called Prime Day, being discounted at a time, but now nothing similar is remotely close in price. A total disregard for the customer! Be aware of Prime Day discounted items!

I have been using Amazon.ae ever since and I 've spent thousands of Dirhams on shopping. like literally 10K-15K AED in total transactions. there has NOT been a single time where I faced an issue. most of the reviews here are fake and trying to denounce amazon.ae and may be to promote Temu like apps but trust me I have done TEMU, SHEIN and Amazon. There is no other e-commerce comes close to the satisfaction provided by amazon .
Very bad customer service
Very bad customer service, package always comes with delay and no compensation. In case of delay they don't provide any help and its you who should contact third class shipping companies who don’t even care.

Sold used product as new
Bought a product advertised as new, received an obviously used product which was caked in dust with scratches and fingerprints all over. How this could even have been attempted to be passed on as new is beyond me.
Complete lack of respect for their customers, and the last time I purchase anything from Amazon.
