I have had very few problems using Amazon. They did bamboozle me once by adding Amazon Prime to an order some time ago. I was lucky to catch the problem and correct it. They were sneaky one time. I now prefer to do all my buying through eBay for the eBay Bucks which you can earn with every purchase. I have been an Amazon customer for years and when I was hired I only worked one day; I will not return.
I want people to know their security is at stake with Amazon as they do not protect you, they protect themselves.
Last year in November 2019, I received an email from Amazon in regards to suspicious activity on my account.
Because I did not have a prime account and was using my mother’s account for our amazon orders, I missed this email and was completely unaware of what was happening on my personal Amazon account.
In February of 2020,
I needed to order something from my own account but my account was not working. I changed the password 4-5 times and couldn’t get access until I called Amazon directly and then received minimal help as to my continuous response from them was we must reach a specialist to look into your account. After trying 5 times someone finally got back to me through email. From this point we were able to reset my password and I even added two-step verification to secure my account.
Oddly, soon after I received two random packages at my home that I did not order from Amazon. Although, I had not ordered them, they were ordered through my account.
I contacted Amazon again, and when I tried to use the 2 step verification I set up myself, they had been compromised and were not allowing me access into my own account.
Again, I contacted Amazon fixed the information and changed passwords and once I was able to access my account, I was going to set up a seller account through Amazon. Again, when I had started the process I saw that someone had accessed my account and added a card in the methods of payment. Weirdly it wasn’t an actual card number, they were all zeros (0000-00000-000) and the name was just jumbled random letters ( fekoazkzsmwabna). After I noticed this, I quickly deleted my own card information and the other cards information because I was worried that my credit information would be compromised and I was protecting myself from identity theft.
What I don’t understand is that my 2 step verification was on and any activity on my account would notify me, yet again I received a random package in my name that I was completely unaware of.
I contacted Amazon again, and they could not verify me because my account was compromised and all I received was an email letting me know that Amazon was closing my account due to suspicious activity and after numerous phone calls and valuable time, Amazon was not only unable to help me, protect my privacy, but they couldn’t even explain to me what was going on.
All I received was an email suspending me permanently and any account under my name will be closed indefinitely.
In this case, Amazon failed in protecting my privacy and tarnished my trust in their company. I was the victim to identify theft and fraud, and instead of Amazon protecting me, I was punished for trusting Amazon’s security.
This experience was horrible for me and I want people to know their security is at stake with Amazon as they do not protect you, they protect themselves.

Predictable delivery, easy to resolve issues. Have to avoid third-part sellers who are not covered by Prime and then there are no issues.

These guys are amazing! Name one other company that can cater your whole family on time for Christmas Day all over the country. Amazon is the best, alone at the top, nobody is even near them. Perfect...no. But damn near!

Made an order of a few xmas gifts a few weeks ago, they are delivered now but damn it took some time, maybe because of the pandemic and xmas, but still very slow. Was getting a bit worried i would not have the xmas gifts for the family but in the end I'm happy.

I bought an extra charging cable for my phone, sadly the cable that arrived was a wrong one. I complained it, got a refund plus I get to keep the "wrong" cable, plus Amazon's going to send the "right" cable. Amazing customer service!

I love Amazon! They always make things right when there is a negative situation which there rarely is. In the past, when I have had delays they have issued me a $10 gift card. They really take responsibility for their mistakes. And mistakes are very rare. They sell high-quality products from trustworthy vendors.
Amazon is cheating me with the duty in…
Amazon is cheating me with the duty in Thailand ... How they can charge $30 for the Duty in Thailand for Teva sandals (value $55) when the maximum duty is 16% and for $55 normally you don't pay any duty. Then Amazon is telling you that they will give you the duty back... They did not do so, nor they send you how much duty they have paid!.

Amazon is so great! I got a gift card recently for Amazon, and they have almost everything! Amazon is a great site, and I fully recommend it! Someone's review said that Amazon is the new eBay, but Amazon has been around for longer than eBay has. I use Amazon a lot, so I know that they have the best products and items. As stated in the title Amazon has just become a unsafe offal place to shop.
I'll be giving a little info of some of the problems I've had their..which it's mostly seller related but also Amazon could have stepped in to help..but did not or did very little. -_-'
If u give a honest review of a seller's product it should be left up so others know that there maybe problems with said item and it should not be taken down..that is just what happened to me..u see I got some Christmas garland greenery from a seller named Pataku December 2019 which first off the item is of the poorest quality I've ever seen..I stated this and that the greenery cut up my hands..so there is no reason to take it down. I did not say anything nasty and just simply stated the facts..also y wait a whole year to take it down..o yes it's November 2020 so the seller wanting to sell more had mine and other very true 1-3 start reviews taken done saying there was no proof of our clams..I mean what was I supposed to do show them my bleeding hands!?..o but it gets better I was wondering where the seller was getting things from so I looked at their info and man o man lol..the seller is getting it from china..small wonder there and they do NOT even have a US address they rent one from..just wow I'm sorry but if ur buying from Amazon US the sellers SHOULD have real US addresses I'm sorry..I have NO problem with people not from the US I mean my better half is from South America lol..but when ur not willing to put ur real address on ur shop info yes there is something funny there. ^_^'
That's not the only bad seller Amazon has done pretty much nothing about this seller Chanchuree Yodthai/ Kelly Chanjuree..Actually called me and my family to threaten us..which ur as a seller NOT supposed to do o lovely but they should not have used the same threat's u used when u called..b/c how many people say they are going to hack me/my family's online accounts, open accounts in our names and much worse, I have made a really big mistake on this, I should not have done this he said that on the phone to me/family and that last part was even in the e-mails this seller sent me through Amazon..this seller has not just threated my family but there r even more people they've done this to..I've got loads of screenshots of this and I recorded my calls plus got the voice mail as proof but still nothing has happened they r still selling on amazon just like they gloated about doing to me..just wow great job Amazon..though I will say it's nice they don't let the owner talk to buyers now lol..who knows how long that will last. ^_^' here r the store names to lookout for..Kelly's top shop but they keep changing lol.other names r At a glance,Top stop market,Easy Export, and is now called Kelly's Express.

There was also this one seller based in china that I got some anime face masks from this year that some how flipped the item cost and shipping around on me so that when they did not ship my full order to me I tried to get my money back but...they kept trying to give me only a penny back!..they knew full well that this is not ok and they did this to SO many other buyers charge u 5 USD and then don't send the items..Just wow..o and they r STILL there selling.. the seller name is 856store. ^_~
But as u can clearly see Amazon is a bad place to shop..most of the time..IF ur careful things go well BUT even then there can be problems. -_-'
All I can say is try to not use the same name as ur facebook or public records b/c bad sellers can find u through those..really have a name that is not the same as ur real name is a good idea..or be like me and don't shop at Amazon works very well too. ^_~
Also don't expect ur reviews to be left up there b/c Amazon LOVES MONEY..more than their customers. -_-,

Customer Service is beyond terrible. Got my account locked for suspicious use of gift cards, yet they never text me to get the issue resolved. Everytime I call, I get the same bull$h!t response. Just another bull$h!t company that doesn't deserve a darn penny.

I got a scam on the gift cards. I called right away when it happed. They locked the gift card and told me they will investigate my case. they never asked me to proof that I am the owner of the gift card. I believed the scam person has not used it yet. 2 days later, Thomas send me a message that he received the investigation note that they can not return back my money. I called again, and I asked them why they never asked me to sent the receive and I would like to know how much money I still have left on the gift card because I believed that the money have not use it when I called and locked the gift card right away. they told me that the investigation have not finished. I told them why Thomas send me an email that they already finished the investigation. I bet they do not want to return my money back. Poor protection customer service. They are still not asked me to proof that I am the owner of the gift. I believe they will not return my money. They need to improve more protection for those gift card. They can track the person who claim the gift card though their account. Return back money if they have not used.

Trustworthy! I have been a Prime member for many years. 2020 is the first year that I have had any issues for the product. One was a problem with a private seller and that was addressed quickly by the vendor. One was a problem with the POst Office and that was resolved by Amazon replacing my missing items.
I LOVE shopping on Amazon. It is the most convenient, best price optioned and easy to navigate place to shop!
