amazing site, I don't buy there so often but when I do the shipping company takes care of customs and I get the product to my doorsteps and the item arrives super quickly.

Prime is not very premium

I have been an Amazon Prime member for years. I have generally been pretty satisfied with the service and with Amazon but in the past year the customer service has gone downhill.

The return policy is still excellent but recently I have experienced some packages that were "lost" and getting a refund has been a bit time consuming.

The ability to search and filter on the website is not very good. Often times there are too many "sponsored" products in my searches that are not what I am looking for.

The ability to watch Amazon Prime movies while traveling can be problematic. Even titles that are available while traveling are often times not available. They could improve by allowing a download feature similar to what Netflix has which makes watching while traveling (on the plane etc) much easier.

Overall I say this is average since I feel I am paying a premium for a service but not getting premium service. They are huge and will continue to provide the services and I will continue to pay for it, until a replacement comes along then I will be the first one to ditch them.

Money Grabbing Thieves

Unable to contact anyone on the phone to be able to resolve my account being randomly locked despite ordering from them on an almost weekly basis for a few years now.

Guaranteed delivery dates are always at least a day late starting in 2019. I could be understanding of their ridiculous policies if my experiences were actually related to the pandemic. However, this company has shown time and again their incompetence, disrespectful attitude, and complete disregard for their customers or the customer experience.

Too many defective goods from China

Have had too many defective goods of late, cannot leave a review because of Amazon's Dishonest product customer review system. Very poor customer care, Give an honest review of a bad product and you will get banned from future reviews, Amazon is swamped with counterfeit Chinese goods, and you will never get a refund. Just canceled my Prime and will take my business elsewhere, they may be big, but they are not the only online market place.

once a great bussiness, not lately though

Amazon was and could continue to be the world best web based shopping mall, i have been confidently purchasing all my items from them since 2005, and have been a prime member since God knows when, although i am an international customer, i never felt that i was treated differently or got my items later than it should. I relayed on them for my personal, and professional needs for years and never did they disappoint, however lately i have noticed the complete opposite, they have gone backwards, they became the very thing they preach not to be, let me explain what is going on so that you make an informed decision before you make a purchase (international)

what is the problem:
1. the majority of the items are out of stock and advertised or shown as available in a later date rather than available for purchase (this creates the problem of purchasing items that aren't with amazon and are not guaranteed to be shipped on time or even delivered yet the amount for the purchase is booked.
2. purchases made take longer than usual to get shipped, although charged, and recently many of these purchases has either been lost and never delivered or delayed for over a month.
3.lost items, delayed items are then solved with a refund or a replacement which could also take another month to get delivered, time is money and a refund after a month of waiting time is not a solution who is going to pay for the time i lost? and the money i gave out, its just like an interest free loan that we gave out to Amazon.
3.due to continuous out of stock status of many items, 3rd party Amazon sellers are price gouging ridiculously to the point its not funny, and Amazon are apparently allowing it.
4.support is recently becoming like dealing with a bunch or robots, or humans acting like robots, they have a one fits all respond to everything, and being a long time buyer for more than 15 years am seriously disappointed from how they treat their customers.
5.there is no way to speak, chat or talk to a supervisor or a manager that actually cares about what is going on in the sales department, me and the people around me are facing the same experience and getting the same resolution, more than 6 orders combined that never arrived and just got a refund for them, no compensation for the time lost or the terrible experience we went through.

given the above i can clearly see that international customers should spend their money else where, and do not waste your time with Amazon, either a change in their management is causing all this or they are simply focusing on the US market at the moment, which i honestly cant justify, since Newegg, and ebay are operating business as usual and no such drama at these times.

This is my first order with Amazon and…

This is my first order with Amazon and the experience have been mediocre at best. I explained my situation advising the representatives I spoke with that the warehouse item I ordered is defective.
I explained my situation advising them that returning the item is not an option since I used a mail forwarder and returning the item will end up costing me too much. It would be like I'm paying for the item twice, but nobody could help me.

I use Amazon.com often

I use Amazon.com often, and 99% of the time, they do an excellent job. With the volume of business they do, it is understandable that occasionally problems will arise. Recently, I ordered a twin size bed, which is a bulky item and more pricey than my normal orders. It had a delivery date of two weeks later (most of my orders I receive in a few days). When the item was not delivered on the date it should have been, Amazon's tracking info stated I would have to contact the delivery company, which I did. They never received the item from Amazon. So, I went to Amazon directly and found that the item made it to my city, but not to the delivery company. It was marked as lost.

Customer no longer a priority

Another US company that just gets worse and worse. New updates of theory app always make it harder to find what you are looking for, so that they can sell ads on their own shopping site. Awful company. Once they cared about their customers but no more.

The client is king there.

A lot of choices.
Easy to filter (could be better though).
Easy to refund.
Very kind employees.
Available to reach on case of a problem.
Less expensive than concurrents.
Nothing more to tell than that.
The client is a king and that is all you need.

Amazon.. you s¥ck!

So we all know that Amazon is now one of the biggest companies in the country, right? But you can’t call customer service! Nope. If you try you get a msg saying ‘ sorry no customer service at this time,’ and then it hangs up! I don’t order from them but I tried to call because I received a omg that was not mine, the address was not even the right address for my apt complex. I am disabled and cannot walk up and down the street trying to find the owner of this box nor should I have to. I would’ve if I were able though. So why can’t people get rerouted calls to there homes. I have two siblings who are always on the phone at work and when their buildings shut down for covid, their employers, set them up w a home office, so that they could work from home. Why can’t CS agents answer calls from home. And, gee, they could be working! Imagine that; making their income, feeding their families!!! This shows a clear disregard for Amazons customers. AND employees. Wth is wrong w you? You don’t care what problems are occurring, they don’t want to hear about it. The commercials say ‘Amazon’ is sometimes the only way people get food!’ So what if there’s food in this box I received that didn’t go to where it was supposed to!
This is the kicker! A few days after this box was dropped off, o saw an amazon van parked right near me. I saw the driver, j told him what happened and asked if he could pls take the box and deliver it down the street. He said “NO,” and his reason was because he “only does deliveries, not pick ups!” It’s not like the person missing the package can even call CS and let them know. Are you serious? This is exactly why I don’t shop w Uou, Amazon! Big corporations like you don’t care about anyone or anything except $$$$ and what the CEO gets paid. I also know people who have worked in the distribution center and have heard horror stories about how they are treated and that they aren’t taking safety precautions seriously. Don’t believe the commercials folks! They lie to make themselves look good. They may have what you want at a decent price, but weigh all the factors, PLEASE!! Consider everything I wrote. Is saving $1 worth port treatment of employees and customers. What will you do when your pkg doesn’t arrive and you have no way to let anyone know! What if it’s medical equipment that you need? I’m just sayin? Is it worth it?
