DONT RELY ON AMAZON TO DO THE RIGHT THING!

WARNING ! - it is easy for this product to damage your vehicle.

I purchased an ALLEM SPORTS bike rack from an Amazon ad, which states it will fit "SUV's". There is no warning in the ad that the product could damage your vehicle.

Following the instructions provided in the box, I attached the upper hook to the metal top of the rear hatch as directed, this can only be done with the door open (up). I wanted to make sure that everything was aligned correctly so I closed the door with the hook correctly seated. The door closed and broke a large chunk out of the top fairing (an expensive part on my Volvo XC90).

At this stage, I removed the device and requested a refund as it was clear that the side hooks would have caused damage to the rear glass which is overlaid on the metal door frame.

NOTICE - neither the manufacturer nor Amazon would take responsibility for the damage to my new vehicle. They rely on the "small print" to excuse themselves from liability.

Buyer beware!

Helping Survive COVID

Tough job, they squeeze your $15, crazy shifts 24/7

It is a hard job, they do squeeze the 15 they pay you, and there is Racism as well and favoritism towards certain people and some don't work or hide in the bathroom while others work hard. Not too much communication among managers, just human robots doing all the work and checking how long you take, etc.
Shifts change very frequently and too many chiefs and not many Indians.. Think about it, when you apply.

I ordered a pear necklaces for my mom $599 so its to long i ask to return they set ups print a label and i just need to tape a box so he came and he opened the box check the item he said good he took it give us a receipt , i waiting for a refund didn’t see it ,i call them they said just received empty box .i request they investigate they did but had no answer,i call them again and again had the a answer we received empty box ,time past i cal again they said the case had no long available for disputed.i had learn never order any thing expensive on amazon again ,i still keep a receipt and a case number since i talk with them i dont want think about it make me upset. After all happened i went to costco i saw pear necklace beautiful better than the one i lost from amazon it’s only $499 . I recommend if you want buy any think on amazon should check local stores first .

Love amazon

Love amazon! shipping is usually so fast but the only bothersome thing is that they can hike up their prices when the demand is high. So make sure you know if it's a good price or not before you just trust Amazon. Also, I love their customer service. They are very helpful and gave me a refund once for amazon prime that I didn't want

For a first time buying from amazon it…

For a first time buying from amazon it was a very bad experience. They have cancelled my order at the last minute after almost a month of waiting Without informing me until the the day of delivery. The reason For cancellation is (believe it or not) no stock!!

I have ordered a microsoft surface Pro 7 from amazon (4 were in stock at the time of order) along side a surface keyboard and a pen. The order was on June 3rd and the delivery date was estimated to be between June 8 to July 1st so almost one month. i accepted due to the current Covid-19 situation. First I have received only the pen on 23 of June while the keyboard and the surface should have been delivered to me on July 1st. My shock was on the delivery day i received only the keyboard with out the surface tablet. I check my email and they send me an email on the Same delivery say telling me that the microsoft surface was cancelled due to no availability!!! Why wasn't i informed earlier?? Talked to the customer service all i got was a mere apology and told me to deal with it (of course in a professional way). My surprise was when The lady informed me that the authorisation on the payment was released on JUNE 15 so the surface order was actually cancelled two weeks before sending the email. I wasted my time waiting for nothing and now i am stuck with surface keyboard and pen which i can not use.

Its obvious to me that their excuse of no stock is not the truth about why they cancelled the order At the last minute Other wise why did not regarding this issue at an earlier date not one month after. Now i have to wait for them to release the money and go again searching for a good deal to order the tablet Again and wait for delivery one more time.

Are you buying a product of amazon…

Are you buying a product of amazon please stop it. after this covid-19 quarantine i prefer to wanted some shopping from this and this could be the reason I have prime membership. if I purchased the product that was very bad so this is my worst experience and when I needed to return them they have come yet.

Beware

Beware. 99% are great the other 1% are out of the country scammers. After waiting for an item for 3 months I contacted “Old Tree Store” and told them to cancel this order. They said since it ships from China and that costs them a lot they could only refund me 10%. Needless to say. Don’t buy from them. I hope Amazon keeps these type of companies from selling on their site.
