Appliance People 

Ordered an oven and cooker hood in November last year. They said they're happy to keep the order in storage until we need them in March. Called them 2 weeks ago to arrange delivery. Said the items would arrive in time. Called them again last week as I hadn't had a delivery update. Again, told me they would be delivered in time. Now I'm unable to contact them via phone, email or chat. Will be asking for a refund and contacting my bank.

I recently placed an order for a cooker, which ended up being a disappointing and frustrating experience. Despite the website indicating that the item was in stock on the 2nd of February, I received a call just 30 minutes later from Nigel informing me that the cooker was not actually available. I was offered the option to wait for it to be delivered by the week commencing the 19th of February. However, when I called at the start of that week, I was informed that the cooker was still being finished and would be with me the following week.

Subsequently, on the 27th of February, I received another call stating that there was a problem with the knobs on the cooker, and the revised estimated delivery date was now the week commencing the 4th of March. What made matters worse was the fact that despite trying to reach out through phone calls and emails for the past two days, I received no response whatsoever.

The inconsistency in the information provided and the lack of effective communication concerning the status of my order has definitely left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. The constant delays and changes in promised delivery dates have inconvenienced me greatly, and the unresponsiveness to my attempts to contact the company only adds to my disappointment.
I hope that this review provides an honest account of my experience and highlights areas that need attention for the company to better serve its customers

Ordered cooker 05 February. Website stating in stock. Phone call within 12 hrs stating cooker not available for 1 month.
No contact from company for 30 days. No response via numerous emails sent. No answer with telephone calls. No idea what is happening????? Have contacted bank to start a charge back on the account.
No response from company no replies to emails messages etc.
If you are reading this then you are already thinking is this a scam.
Please read this and take my honest review. Do not buy goods from here they will take your money and not deliver. Don't be fooled like I was this is an honest review. They have taken a lot of money from me and I have no cooker. Please be careful before ordering. I was scammed!!!!

Good price, excellent product, Good communications between the delivery team and myself

Although on first purchase the companies website showed there was stock however early the next day I was contacted and told the item was actually out of stock and they would have to order direct from Miele. Although I waited 3 weeks for the washer the contact from the company was excellent and in the end drove to the Miele distribution centre to get for me. Miele was hit by a malware attack and Miele UK confirmed the delay so not the companies fault. Another good thing about Appliance people is there easy to navigate website and the vast amount of discount vouchers you can use. They always answer quickly on the phone and online chat. I'm still waiting for Dominick to refund the delivery costs as a gesture of good will for waiting but I'm sure that will be sorted soon. The prices are some of the most competitive on the internet and combined with discount vchrs available are hard to beat just make sure you call them regarding the actual stock levels of the product you want as there online stock may not reflect what they hold. However unlike some companies the product I received is the very latest model not last years model this is important and my friends confirm the company will not palm you off with new but older last years models like a certain high street shops.
Buy from Appliance People with confidence despite the wait 10/10 as fault was with manufacturer.
I would definately buy from them again all the staff are professional, reliable and transparent.

Steven, we had the same problem. These guys advertised a 2500k fridge as in stock.

Dominic tells me then it’s a manufacturer delivery. It will be delivered to AP and then on to my home.
By Monday the story has changed and now Samsung will deliver direct. The day of purchase from AP I knew already that Samsung had no stock, so was bemused how Samsung can ship a product they don’t have. A quick call to Samsung confirmed they had no order. I phoned Dominic who argued with me saying that due to GDPR etc Samsung would never have talked about my order. Next a get a call from the shippers to say they will ship our fridge but can’t give us a date. ‘Have you got the product’ I asked? No said the operative. I enquired where it was coming from….waterline. This company has done nothing but lie from day one. Dominic - if I don’t get a refund in 24 hours it will be passed to the legal team of my credit card, and I will also update this post to warn everyone that you haven’t done it. We don’t have a fridge, we have people coming to help reconfigure the kitchen who now don’t know which days to book. Thanks Applicance people for screwing up our lives. Just tell the truth you and have some bloody integrity.

My rating reflects my experiences using Appliance People for not one, but two separate orders over a 12-month period; dishwasher and washing machine. On both occasions I found the quality of service excellent. Every phone call went straight through to a member of their team who was friendly, polite and knowledgeable about their products and services. Furthermore, their prices for the two appliances I wanted were some of the most competitive I was able to find online. They kept me well informed with the progress of my orders and planned delivery dates. Very rare in this day of age to obtain such a level of service. Highly recommend.

Very friendly helpful people with great customer service delivery was on time would use them again

When purchasing a tumble dryer on their website it said the dryer in question was ‘in stock’. Doing my research I compared the same product at other retailers but had found they were out of stock, so decided to go and purchase with this company (26 Dec).
I then received a call a few days later to say the unit was not in stock and would only come into stock 3 weeks later (17 Jan) and therefore to expect delivery the following Monday or Tuesday 22/23 Jan. I accepted this delay in good faith and the fact I’d been misled with their false advertising online, rather than reporting to trading standards.
Some time passed and eventually after hearing nothing about my order and delivery I chased them myself calling Fri 26th to get an update. I was told the stock had miraculously just arrived into the manufacturer warehouse that same day and so now needed transferring to local depot prior to final delivery and therefore should expect an update the following week. Another week has passed with no updates or no communication from them and have requested a refund (which I have to wait a few more days for and have little faith will be resolved without more chasing from myself). Again this required me speaking directly over the phone with Dominic who apologised for the poor experience. I explained to him they should not be allowed to advertise products online stating they are ‘in stock’ (tricking customers) and then when there is an issue they do nothing proactively to resolve in a timely fashion which he accepted.
I now note from reading a number of reviews this problem has affected a number of other customers. My advice - avoid using this company as I have found better options.

From ordering to delivery was very quick and easy we had been let down badly with another company. but appliance people were spot on with delivery who buy the way was a perfect gentleman.any items we buy in the future would not hesitate to buy from them again .

Bought a cooker from appliance people they even matched with rangemaster. I was so pleased it was a big difference in price from other stores. They were very polite did it all by chat and 1 phone call later I had bought my rangemaster. I managed to get a delivery before Christmas and gas fitted the following day. Thank you I will use you again.

We needed a quality washing machine in a hurry, this company had the right machine and was able to deliver in the specified time we needed. Great service with no problems. Would highly recommend.

I recently bought a Bertazzoni range from Appliance People. They answered all of my questions and contacted me by phone to discuss delivery. I am very pleased by their customer service, esp. Dominic Wayne.

Great service from start to finish I couldn't find a better price especially for the service recieved. Delivery date was organised and the delivery team were brilliant not the easiest getting a range through narrow doors.

Awesome customer service and great prices

Excellent communication, price and rapid delivery of an AEG tumble drier (priced 40% below Currys and John Lewis). I would not hesitate to use this company again. Impressed.

We needed to replace a range of kitchen appliances and Jonathan dealt with the whole thing from start to finish.
He was able to source all the things we needed and the pricing was very competitive; even adding a discount for multiple items.
We were kept informed at all times and Appliance People held our items until we were ready for them.
Delivery was efficient and on an agreed date to suit our plans.
Jonathan followed everything up and checked that we were satisfied with both the arrangements and the appliances.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Appliance People if you're looking to buy appliances and want a company that values it's customers.

Just bought a washing machine from appliance people Jonathan was very helpful , havnt used the washer yet but am sure it will be OK ,he did me a price match because I found it cheaper elsewhere always worth asking he did free delivery, and Steve and son who delivered was very helpful and kept me in touch with times and everything thanku so much x
