Avoid like plague - items will not arrive but they will take your money
In a nutshell, paid for item which never arrived. Was given an ongoing AI generated runaround with the worst customer experience I have ever had. In the end they offered "store credit" - which is of no value when the issue is that the items do not arrive!
This is clearly a scam outfit and I would suggest people avoid dealing with this amateur group at all costs.
13.11 - please see their AI generated response to this review below. Need I say more? This is a bot company that will take your money,not deliver goods and spew this sort of nonsense on a loop when you contact them.

They make it very hard to claim a refund
I requested a full refund due to damaged goods but they refused and offered 50% discount code and inflated the return costs to make it less attractive to return the item for a full refund. Postage costs to China are 20-30 euros apparently! It feels like I am talking to ChatGPT rather than a real human! Take ages to respond and then never apologise for the damaged goods, I will never use them again as they're a bunch of thieves. Avoid this company at all costs

Avoid at all costs, Worst retail outlet ever
I wish I had seen these reviews before ordering. This is a Chinese company posing as a Dutch Company. Goods I recieved (Jacket) bear no resemblance to the picture and they will not refund unless you ship it back to China at your own expense. This practice is unfair and misleading under the EU Consumer Rights Directive and equivalent UK consumer protection standards, I have never experinced such bad customer service, they show complete disdain for their customers. Wish I could do more to get them prosecuted and put out of business.

A really bad no return policy
I ordered a grey cardigan from Athomly,
I found it on Google when.looking for cardifans.. it was reduced in the sale to £49,99 claiming to be cashmere. I ordered a size L, as I am a size 16. It'll arrived about 9 days later and looked quite good, however it was tiny,also very short, more a size 10 or a very small 12. No way did it fit me! The cardigan itself had no labels whatsoever but it came in a too large clear bag , which was pretty crumpled and had obviously been opened before, either by a customer or at the shop? On the bag you saw written L and then a long bar code on a tiny sticker. It looked like someone had put a tiny cardigan into
an L size bag. There was no.paperwork. I re-found the companynon Google and explained the situation, where can I return if to, the Netherlands? I did get a couple of responses, they wanted explanations and photos, which I supplied. Then just now I received their conclusive response; they are sad I am.not happy, but as I know their company policy has a no returns policy as the items come from China...(I did not know!) They said the postage would cost between £20.00 and £30.00 plus customs , all they can offer me is a 50% discount code, presumably towards.my next shop with them, but that is not at all.likely, as I can't trust them with their sizing and their honesty.

I purchased a GPS watch for my daughter.
The web page description of the watch functions was a total lie.
When contacting customer services for a refund due to buying a product with false advertisement i was told they could offer a discount code for another purchase.
Told them i was not interested in keeping my order and wanted to return it.
They then told me that i had to return it to China even though the website address is in the Netherlands.
They then said it will probably cost me the price of the watch to return it to China-20 to 30 euros!!!
If it was clear om Athomly website that ALL goods were from China i would never of brought the watch in the first place.
Total Fraud!!

This company is trading through dishonest advertising. How I wish I'd seen these reviews. The Orthopaedic shoes I ordered are cheap plastic rubbish. I to didn't realise I was buying from China, I paid £44.99 and have since seen them on Amazon and other sites from as little as £11.99. I have used sites in China ie:Temu and have had better service than this company, they are thieves acting as sellers, their site should be shutdown. I wish there was some other way to warn people. I am editing this review as request (see reply from them) to me the reply means nothing, the shoes were rubbish, I couldn't honestly even send them to a charity shop they were so bad, they went into trash, the offer previously made to give a discount off the next order didn't make sense because I would never buy from them again and wouldn't recommend them to other. As mentioned by others the return is a joke £30+ to return them to China.

I ordered a pair of shoes that did arrive - after 5 weeks! These shoes were advertised as made from leather but clearly aren’t, they are just cheap plastic. When I enquired about their returns policy I was informed that it would cost me another £30 in customs duty. They did, however, offer me a 50% voucher if I ordered something else…as if?
Conclusion. A complete scam with an expensive lesson learned. My advice is DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

I too wished I had referred to Trust Pilot before I placed an order with Athomly on 1 October. Since then no updates or any sign of the item being delivered.
Like others, I thought this company was based in the Netherlands rather than China.
I will see if my bank can cancel payment but not holding out much hope.
Total scam and really puts you off online shopping.

Update to my review... I ordered on 10th September and it arrived on 29th September. Item wasn't shipped until 19th September.
The lamps do meet my expectations of quality, but the delivery expectations on the website are very misleading as I was expecting to receive these lamps about 2 weeks ago given delivery estimates on their website. I'd paid extra for delivery via Royal Mail, yet in reality the final carrier was Evri.
This is not a complete scam but this website just dropships goods from China; in hindsight I would've just gone straight to Temu for a better deal (same lamps are a fraction of a price on Temu) as both sites send from China, but Athomly charges a premium by using misleading info on their site and a fancy website build.. even Amazon has better deals on these lamps, and would've arrived the next or same day. Oh well lesson learned!
