At one point I got an email saying my first outgoing flight was cancelled and they’d created a suggested new flight schedule where I’d fly out on the 7th July to catch my connecting flight on the 24th June, two weeks previously. This being obviously insane I called and (after 3.5 hours on hold) I managed to talk to an employee who wouldn’t admit this was impossible and insane but did very kindly offer to change this new flight schedule. He was lovely but had no suggestions for alternate flights - after one google that I did while on the call with him I found out my initial flight was actually not cancelled at all! So suggesting that I time travel and whole day spent on the phone to Aunt Betty was totally wasted because no change at all was necessary. I admit some of this may be the airlines fault (China Eastern) but the time travel schedule and the total lack of information or support Aunt Betty’s actually quite nice customer service team has is all the fault of Aunt Betty and frankly shameful. They also attempted to get me to pay £900 for the privilege of being able to take these flights that I’d already booked and paid for. Don’t be taken in by these charlatans it is not worth the savings.

I have used Aunt Betty a few times. They offer very competitive price (even though not the cheapest) and quick turnaround for getting the e-ticket. Most of the time they issue the e-ticket the following day after the purchase, while Gotogate and Flightnetwork would take a few days based on my recent purchase. I haven't had the experience of dealing with Aunt Betty for changing the tickets, so I don't have any complaint regarding hidden cost, but at least they are Australian based and owned by Flight Centre, so it feels more reliable compared to other online agents.

Was very smooth and quick, no hassles, no extra or hidden fees. Paying with PayPal was without any extra charges.

Very disappointing customer service.
My Qatar Airways flight was cancelled due to the conflict involving Iran. While I received a refund for the airfare, the seat selection fee that I paid as part of my booking has not been refunded, even though the service was never provided.
I contacted Aunt Betty to request an explanation and a refund. My email has now been ignored for over a week, and I have not received even a simple acknowledgement.
I understand that flight disruptions can happen, but ignoring customers who are trying to resolve an outstanding refund is unacceptable. If I do not receive a response within the 14-day deadline I have given, I will escalate the matter to Fair Trading.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Aunt Betty.

I got the cheapest air fare among other travel agencies and the ticket came within one hour.

Absolutely terrible service. Booked flights in April and paid for priority seats. These were not purchased by Aunt Betty and despite three hours on the phone, am yet to get them booked. Would not use them again.
Aunt Betty I cannot reply to you with my ABY number you have my email and mobile on file. Please get in touch.
