Utterly brilliant company to deal with. I’ve been using Bearded Colonel shaving razors for over ten years now and can’t praise them enough. Always a close shave and clean as a whistle. To be honest I really can't remember how long I have been using this razor, which tells you how good it is, easy to change the blade even without my glasses on, remains sharp longer than much more expensive brands and really important good value for money I have even converted the wife :)

I'm not even sure how long I've been a customer of this brand, so I've been remiss in not reviewing until now. I've been subscribing for years though.
What prompted me to review now was yet another great experience. I use their razors to shave both my face and head, which is a lot more acreage than just doing your face. I get two head shaves and maybe two face shaves per razor, which lasts me just over a week; that's pretty good value, in my opinion. Anyway, I signed up for the VIP option because it gives me enough of a discount on razors to make it financially workable, plus I can request new ones on demand. Works for me. But the process of changing subscriptions was really simple; I'd just reactivated a dormant sub, so needed that one cancelling, and the new VIP one put in place instead. Sometimes with companies, things get badly messed up when you try and do things like this. That wasn't the case here, the switch was painless and handled by one person.
The product is great, they answer emails, they seem to want to do things the right way, so they are keeping my custom, no question.
The newer razor is fantastic, btw.

Really impressed with this setup. The blades are sharp straight out of the wrapper but still smooth—no tugging or irritation at all, even on the first pass. They cut cleanly and consistently, which made the whole shave feel controlled and comfortable rather than harsh.
The brush is equally impressive. It holds plenty of water, builds a rich lather quickly, and feels soft on the face with just the right amount of backbone. No shedding so far, and it spreads lather evenly without effort.
Overall, this combo gave me one of the best shaves I’ve had in a long time—close, comfortable, and irritation-free. Excellent quality and great value.

Ive been with them over 10 years so they must be doing something right. I had a query recently about my subscription (my error as it happens) - got very fast, good and efficient customer service from Alex (founder) so I cant really find any fault.

Been using The Bearded Colonel for a good few years. Bought it for my husband as a gift. we get a delivery of razors to the door every few months. you can choose how often you need them. First class service. Have recommended to family and friends. My son has been using the razors also, so now need to set up a subscription for him too!!!! Great Shave. Even for us girls!

I really like this company and their products - I feel valued as a customer, their products work very well and, I think, good value for money. There has been the odd hiccup with a delivery but I've used the contact form and had a prompt, helpful reply every time.

If you want a proper shave, look no further. i was sick of being ripped off by the big brands, with ‘celebrity’ endorsements and outlandish claims so went looking for a proper company. Bearded Colonel is that company. Great products, a very comfortable shave, and no gimmicks. Give them a try - you won’t be disappointed.

Well, where do I start? I’ve been a customer now for 10 years +. The razors and cartridges are excellent, the cartridges last a long time. I shave day to day with the premium handle and have a standard one for travel. Customer service is excellent and very responsive. I don’t have a negative word or comment to say!
