I have been a member now for almost two years and I'm very happy with the service and products. There may be better companies out there, but I'm happy to support this startup especially as over the last year, they have been excellent communicators and have dealt with all requests promptly and fairly.

I don't shave regularly, so I've got the "quarterly" membership, giving me 4 blades every three months. I get a good, smooth, clean shave and don't normally use the same blade more than 4-5 times.

During the last year, I've had issues with the blades breaking easily, but once I notified the company, they quickly fixed that by issuing new blades which are stronger and don't break. Additionally, I got a set of free blades. Since then, I've never had the issue again.

Additionally the shaving brush and cream are all very high quality and worth the investment. They are normally sold at Fortnum and Mason, at a higher cost.

I have now subscribed to their "socks" membership as well and so far so good. Three socks, all very well designed and very comfortable.

Compared to Gillette Fusion, I found these razors to feel cheap and flimsy. They have no trimming blade on the back, which makes shaving around the nose and upper lip more difficult. Price is lower, at around £2.50/razor head vs £3.00-£3.25 for Gillette Fusion Pro, but this is a real case of you get what you pay for!

Friend told me about this company so i bought a razor and 3 blades on a special offer...give them a go. The actual item is ok but very cheaply made...anyroads a month later another 4 blades turn up in the post and they have taken money out of my account. I am apparently a member of the Bearded Colonol club. As you can imagine i'm not a happy bunny and have now cancelled...awaiting refund. Very bad darts

The Bearded Colonel blades are great - good quality and a good price. I don't shave every day (I do about once a week / 10 days) and they cope really well. Plus I don't end up using the same, last one in the packet for far too long!

I've been a customer for 6 months now and I absolutely love the razors. The customer service has been great, and I've already got a couple of my friends to sign up too!

I had been looking at shaving subscriptions for months and was never sure if it was something that would suit me. I never paid too much attention to the type of blades or lather that I would use and found the whole shaving experience frustrating. However since setting up my monthly subscription I actually look forward to shaving! Firstly getting my new handle and box arriving in the post was a great surprise and a lovely present to myself. The quality of the handle, blades and particularly the sandalwood lather is incredible and way exceeded my expectations of the quality I was expecting. Also I recently had to change my address and a simple email to customer service updated my account and responded to me the same day which was a great bonus!
