Started off fine then they sent poorer, different spec blades. Didn't deal with my complaint and claimed they hadn't received the pictures I had sent them of the dodgy blades. Chancers.

I've been subscribed for several years now. It's a good quality razor, and the blades each last me about 10 days, although I do not have a heavy beard growth. I like having new razors just turning up in the post so that I never have to worry about running out. I also buy their sandalwood shaving cream, which I love.

Excellent razor! Feels high quality and has good weight. Blades cut well, and shave was very smooth. And best of all, you don't have to remember to buy more, they automatically come! Highly, highly recommend

Quality product,i love the stainless steel handle. I thought it was going to be lighter than expected like other 'premium' razors i 've tried in the past. Nope! it's solid and feels great.

Really nice kit. The SS handle is much heavier and sturdier than the plastic. Delivered on time, great shave at a great price.

i waited some time for the razor, having arrived it seems faulty to me. The blades are not secure when fitted. I emailed a complaint but have not had a response so will be terminating my subscription. Luckily it was only £5. so I will just write it off.

When the company first started they had very good blade, sharp and lasted a long time. They have had changed handle since and they also changed blade manufacturer in the last few months (1st half of 2019). Unfortunately the new blades go blunt withing three or four shaves and also within that time turn rusty! Stayed with the colonel for about three years but have now switched to Harry's razors and have been using the first blade sent for two weeks and still very sharp....

I've used Bearded Colonel for over 4 years now and cannot fault their blades. I've actually switched over to daily wet shaves from using an electric shaver as I'm so pleased with how my face feels and how good the razors are, something I would never had said when I used the big names!

Been with Bearded Colonel for several years now. Great products, value for money and service to match. I receive my orders (standing or otherwise) promptly and get good feedback. Several of my friends have begun using Bearded Colonel too. Give them a try, you wont be disappointed.

The handle by itself blew me away. I've used quite a few of the players in this space and I've never had a handle this substantial. Easy to hold, heavy enough to do some of the work for you, and light enough to be comfortable in the hand.

The blades are fantastic as well. I have some thorough — though, not exhaustive — experience with other razors but I've never had one that had some of the features this one had.

The way it glided and curved while shaving was very, very easy. That's the big thing I look out for when shaving - how easy it is to get the task done. Bearded Colonel makes my morning shave very easy.

Really pleased with the service, the blades are great. I went for the brush and cream upgrade which I highly recommend.I used to do a quick rush job of my shave, now I take a few extra minutes and its well worth it I feel amazing after.

Quality of the handle and blades is unbelievable. I can't remember the last time I had a shave this good, and it's cheaper than my old blades. Why wouldn't you shave with the Colonel? The product is amazing.

I absolutely loved this shave.

I have tried everything: straight razor blade, double edge straight blade, every advanced blade out there, and multiple disposals per shave -- and I've never had a more enjoyable shave.

To be fair, I was originally skeptical. I have really thick hair and sensitive skin so shaving is more of a chore than something that I can enjoy but this proved me wrong.

A great shave can be a refreshing and enjoyable experience.

I was originally skeptical of the multiple blades because my hair often gets pinched inside of the multiple blades but i was able to get a close shave with zero irritation, nicks or cuts. The blades were sharp, but stayed on the surface of my skin due to the rollers and the flex in the heavy and sturdy premium handle.

Fantastic shave and really great customer service received over a couple of years so far!

I have been a customer for a number of years and have only had the very best of service. I've been able to revise my delivery plan over the years and been asked for feedback on changes the Colonel has made to the products, which have always been first class. I have just taken delivery of the new stainless handle which feels great and works perfectly.

For me, it's a case of competition, what competition?

To be fair this did not start well as I joined and ordered and paid for a razor that never arrived, After waiting two weeks I complained and was promptly offered a replacement to be sent or full refund, I was determined to at least try the razor but still did not receive one 5 days later so I cancelled my membership. The very next day the razor and blades finally arrived and I have now been using them for a month. I actually like the razor especially the roller which in my opinion is far superior to the usual gel pads which degrade rapidly. I have achieved better shaves with my cutthroat razor but that also includes losing some of my very precious blood. I am now an occasional shaver as I have retired and no longer need to shave every day for work, and have found that the first blade easily lasted me a month and whilst it is now dragging a bit, four blades every two months is going to meet all my requirements

I have been a customer of Bearded Colonel for a few years now and was worried when they " improved " the blades. I had no need to. They give me a shave which lasts all day long and does not irritate. I change the blade every week even though it would last two weeks. All round a great blade so a great shave every time.

The service is great as is the concept. But since they switched bladed last year the quality of the shave has sharply declined. The old blades were sharp, low friction, no drag, perfect I'd say. New blades only have the advantage of convenience for home delivery.

Used to be good, Blade quality is now awful! Good customer service but that doesn't help with razor burn.
