No Sleep Trial Offered
No Sleep Trial Offered! Stick to a main retailer!
I purchased a mattress in late September. On first impressions it felt extremely firm, but I decided to give it a fair chance, assuming it would come with a standard sleep trial. After a short period of use, I began experiencing significant back pain and contacted the company to request an exchange or refund.
I was then informed that they do not offer sleep trials and will only provide a refund if the mattress remains sealed in its original packaging — a condition that is entirely unreasonable for a product that must be used to assess comfort. Overall, it has been a very disappointing experience.

We don't offer a sleep trial, and this is stated in our terms and conditions that you sign into prior to placing the order online with us. Our returns policy requires the mattress to be unopened for it to be accepted back and refunded, a condition we apply uniformly for hygiene reasons. We would not be able to resell a used mattress.

Delivery Experience Awful!
We cannot fault this company with regard to the quality of the twin mattresses we received. However, the delivery company used by them (AIT Home Delivery UK Ltd) were appalling. They arrived said absolutely nothing to us, which is considerably rude, pushed the mattresses into our hallway, shoved a piece of paper towards us at which point I mentioned the mattresses to be taken upstairs i.e to the room of our choice (as per Bedstars’policy) the driver ignored me and said ‘sign’ (the only word he said to us)and then they both left- we were left with these two very heavy mattresses which we had to get upstairs - we are both in our 70’s!! - Utterly shameful and disrespectful! I rang and spoke to Bedstar who apologised and said they would contact AIT and make a complaint on our behalf. I received an email from AIT saying they were awaiting a response from their team I replied requesting some form of compensation as we had basically had to complete the delivery upstairs to our bedroom at our own risk - since then we have heard absolutely nothing - totally disgraceful and not in anyway customer care. Hopefully someone will see this review and consider how they might feel if their elderly parents were left like this. I repeat, as Bedstar have not done as promised on their website to deliver to room of customers choice, we would like compensation for doing the job of the delivery company as a matter of respect.
