Buses unreliable, and badly timed when they turn up. The customer "service" is non existent. I am still waiting for a reply to my complaint from 6 weeks ago. Also sent them a reminder about it a month ago. Andy Burnham needs to get a grip, this is utterly useless. There is no chance of giving up our cars with this service. Since the new timings, I am using the car more to give lifts to family. Customer service who don't respond at all : well I find that rude and offensive. I'll be back to report how this progresses...what do I have to do ? Let's see if they reply within a year, :))))))))))))))))

It's a disgrace to other people to vape on the bus. It says on their website that it's prohibited, but no actions taken!! It doesn't even have a clear sign for no vaping on the bus! Why me and everyone else have to breath in those chemicals?!! They don't even care about kids! I will not leave it like that!

Terrible staff always rude and disrespectful there was a staff member called some strange name that was too hard to understand called me stupid and made fun of me to other passengers after me telling him that the diversion was no longer active and he did not let me off at the stop that the 98 always stops at and then I said can you let me off at stand D because you missed my stop he just laughed at me and ignored me this was on the 472 service which usually has alright bus drivers and when I tried to explain that my next bus left at 1514 he would not open the doors until 1514 when we arrived at 1512 because i told him that

Amateurish malfunctioning website/app with possibly the worst customer support I have ever encountered.
Registered for the terribly designed web site. Could log in on my laptop, but the mobile version and the app refused access, saying the password was wrong. Could log in to the desktop version on the phone, but not the mobile version.
Contacted user support. Options for support didn't include problems with logging in. Finally got through to a rude, arrogant, aggressive individual who couldn't understand the problem and wouldn't listen. Permanently on the defensive and clearly making up reasons for my non-access. At one point they said "If you bothered to listen you would have heard me say 'may' m-a-w may." Had to hang up before my head exploded.
According to this individual, accounts for the app and website are not connected (which doesn't explain why the desktop version of the website allows login, but the mobile version of the same web site does not).
If this information is true, the system is even more useless and shambolic than I first thought.
To sum up, the website and app are not fit for purpose and the customer support 'service' is beyond useless. What an absolute disgrace. If I was allowed to give no stars I would.
Continuous poor performance 610
610 turns up when it feels like, at least 3 -5 times a month I have to get a taxi to work because your bus has not turned up, or over 15 minutes late. That's £10 for every taxi on top of the £85 I pay you for poor performance. waste of tax payers money. No information given on the app or online, it's shameful, bring back the old services. The commitments posted on the bus and bus stops are clearly lies, genuinely the worst bus service I've encountered so far.
One bus an hour
One bus an hour! This is what it seems like. Two days on the trot buses are not showing up. Thats from bolton interchange and back in. 511, 471, 607, 20. These seem be every hour. For the head ache keep to the times on both app and bus stops or change the times altogether. This isnt great for people who work and have school. Why is all public transport not reliable?

My daughter needs to get 2 buses to school each day, the 471 from Heywood to Rochdale to connect with the 436 to Crompton House School, she started going out to catch the 471 due at 07:27 but this failed to appear on time, the next bus would have caused her to miss the connection for the 436 at 07:58 so she started going out for the 471 due at 07:15. This morning she did just that and the bus did not turn up so my wife had to take her to Rochdale by car, within a minute or so of my wife picking her up a bus turned up closely followed by another, the promise of a good bus service has left me in little doubt of the service being delivered and causes a lot of anxiety with my daughter which is affecting her education. how is this meant for us to rely on public transport and encourage us to abandon the car for transport.

Had to post to thank the lady driver on the 22 bus yesterday coming from Monton into Swinton who stopped 2 stops after I got off to allow a lady who found my handbag on the bus to give it to me, thanks to the lady who got off to give it me but also thanks to the lady driver for stopping and letting her do this.. Brings back some faith in human nature, I was close to tears THANK YOU
Extremely Poor Customer Service
I recently purchased a weekly ticket for the wrong zone by mistake and requested a refund. What followed was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. Over the course of five separate phone calls, I spoke with the same person each time, but received different and conflicting information on every single call. They would ask me to wait while they "checked something," leaving me on hold for up to 30 minutes before I eventually gave up.
Emails I've sent regarding the issue have gone completely unanswered, which adds to the frustration. The whole process has been exhausting and unprofessional.
In contrast, when I had a similar issue in London, it was resolved with a simple phone call in minutes. Manchester's transport service needs to seriously improve its customer support. As of now, I’m left without a refund and no clear resolution in sight.
I paying close to thousands of pounds a year for this service, congratulations.
The Bee Network - A Frustrating and Unreliable Bus Service
Having recently moved to Manchester from London, I can confidently say that the Bee Network, which operates the yellow buses here, is one of the worst public transport services I’ve encountered in the UK.
First of all, their app is practically useless. It fails to provide accurate bus times and leaves you stranded, constantly refreshing and hoping for a miracle. In almost every other city I’ve visited, there are digital signs at bus stops displaying accurate bus numbers and timings. But in Manchester, you're left relying on unreliable app updates or vague timetables at the bus stop. I’ve had to wait for over an hour on multiple occasions for buses that are supposedly running every 15-20 minutes, according to the signs.
The inconsistency doesn’t stop there. When buses do finally arrive, the service is often interrupted mid-route. For example, traveling from Cheetham Hill to the city centre regularly involves unnecessary driver changes, adding more delay to an already painful experience. Waiting at Abraham Moss Centre Stop A has become a test of patience – buses simply don’t show up. There’s no construction, no road blockage, just pure incompetence.
To make matters worse, compared to any other public transport in the UK, the Bee Network is one of the most expensive options out there. It’s absolutely ridiculous to pay more for a service that’s this unreliable. Manchester deserves better.

Buses never come on time. The 52 I had to catch went past 3 times day ng it was too full. Too full for one more person!! Never rely on it
Long wait and no bus
I've been waiting for more than 45 min for the bus (216 or 230) in Great Ancoats and not even 1 passed. More than 45 minutes for any of those two options and I'm giving up since now I late and can't wait anylonger. Now I understand why Great Ancoats is soooo jammed with cars. You can't relly on the public transport in this city.
