184 Buses from Huddersfield to Oldham the worst service. Going from Oldham to Huddersfield drivers are great. What is it about the journey from Huddersfield to Oldham.
Monday 2nd August 2024. The 18.35 from Huddersfield to Oldham. The driver arrived at the bus station 18.40. Instead of coming straight over to where the public gets picked up he goes straight to the waiting area where the buses go until ready to pick up. ( in his case he was late and shouldn't have gone in the hole). When he did arrived to pick up which was 18.47, I sarcastically asked if he was stuck in traffic. No reply. (a don't care attitude). Then after being late he had the audacity to stop 6/7 times for no reasons. Stops and just sits there. This is appalling service as we have connections and always missing them because of your drivers incompetence and don't care attitude. Our connections don't run frequently so when miss we are left stranded. Not good enough.
Thursday 5th August 2024, the 18.35 from Huddersfield to Oldham. Is he a learner driver? I didn't have any confidence in him at all in his driving.
A snail could do better than him. Again stopping all the time. This one 4 times. Do better. It's takes 1hr 20 minutes going, why is it longer coming back? Guys do better please.

Few things to highlight.
1. Customer service is terrible and they are advised to say only one thing that they either see a tap or no tap but it is not the same with customers using contactless payment by card or phone.
2. customer only see a green tick on their phone and same green tick on the panel at stations. Where customer is compromised of exposing his card details for bee network to do what they like and throw penalties.
3. Try contacting the customer relations as they call it, first they refer you to call contactless team aka point 1, who will see the taps on their system and they don't care a customer physically present in the station and completed the tap with a green tick.
4. When a customer requests for escalation to further investigation of CCTV footage or bodycam of their staff, where customer mentions that a staff from bee network has assisted him and witnessed the tap has gone in successfully - green tick on the panel before boarding the tram.
5. The customer service fails to provide escalation procedure, they are absolutely fraud service. They refuse to proceed with further investigation to look into the CCTV or speak to the staff those were involved with the customer. They try to close down saying write email to customer relations and they are of no further assistance.
6. Finally customer has made all efforts to prove the situation is clearly a theft of money by bee network without any proof apart from their malfunctioning panels installed in stations.
17 bus great driver
Just had a bumb on the number 17 bus to Manchester. The bus driver was amazing! Moved the bus safely, swapped details with the wagon that hit us but above all ensured the safety and well being of his passengers. Such a lovely gentleman as a passenger I just wanted to say thanks

I was just arriving at the bus stop on moston lane Manchester there were a number of buses passing and I managed to get the last bus I proceeded to get on the bus and the driver proceeded to tell me that my monthly pass of £85. 50 had already been used on another bus and I could not use this again for another 2 minutes Which was on true considering I only literally just arrived at the bus stop I said to him I've never heard of such a thing before where you couldn't use a pass on the app for two minutes but he carried on insisting but that was the case and told me to leave The bus . after I exited the bus he still had words to say to me which I find very on professional also there were two ladies at the bus stop one lady said to me she had gone through the same experience where she was told the same thing when I called customer service at bee network and explain my situation and what had happened the gentlemen I spoke with also confirmed that is not the case with a monthly pass on the app the gentleman also explain to me there has been issues with drivers in the area which I find very concerning I proceeded to get on another bus with no issues with the past whatsoever I have been chasing this case from June the 17th calling customer service who have been fine however it seems management wood rather ignore customers I have had no reply back from bee network whatsoever on free occasions now I find this disgusting as a bus company who is supposed to be representing the people of Manchester it horrified me they are intent on ignoring any customers with genuine concerns we are paying for a service at the end of the day and I feel that's why many drivers feel they can behave in any manner they wish because the management at bee network seems to be just as bad as sum drivers on the network .
Incorrect information given by ticket officer and incorrectly charged £60! disgusting service
I have been incorrectly charged £60 by TGFM despite explaining my situation to the ticket officer who gave me incorrect information.
I tapped in on one side at Media City and got on a tram when i spoke to the officer and asked if the tram goes into Manchester he informed me it doesn't and I had to get off the tram and tap in the other side.
I did exactly this i got off the tram went to the other side and tapped in to show i was on the other tram. I explained this situation to the ticket officer who informed me that his ticket checking machine would be able to tell if i had a ticket which it did and said it was okay. I then got off the tram at St Peters Square and tapped out which i thought completed the journey. I was horrified to find that today i have been incorrectly charged £60! Its absolutely disgusting that you would charge this when you can clearly see i tapped in and out! i demand answers your service is absolutely shocking and no wonder it has such a bad reputation!

A pathetic impacient driver
It is Sunday the 14th July and I've just travelled on the 14.15 hours 41 service from Manchester High Street to Sale. I want to complain about the very poor standard of the driver.
He drove like a lunatic by going far too fast and not giving passengers enough time to disembark the bus. Two of whom got into an argument with the driver as they left the bus. Totally unacceptable.
What a waste
The free now ended up costing me £20 done it made me miss my train. They claim it's every 10 minutes but by time it showed up after 25 minutes of waiting, the driver got out and left. I was told they didn't have a driver and weren't sure when the bus would actually leave

This must be the WORST bus service in the nation, ESPECIALLY the number 84!!!! I just recently moved to Oldham UNFORTUNATELY I am on the 84 route. It doesn't matter how early I leave, there always delays! Yesterday, after the 84 was delayed for 25 mins at New Earth street stop, the bus driver then decides to exit the bus with no announcement, leave the doors open and then disappear across the street at the Oldham Munps depot Station. After wating an additional 5 mins, cause I wasnt sure if he was coming back, I attempted to board the 83 and complained about the previous driver. However the driver was very disinterested. Additionally, I everytime at Odham Mumps station, the drivers always talk and take their sweet time when they are changing drivers. Moving from Birmingham, where the transport system is excellent, I am trying to move again because the bus service here is VERYstressfull. If possible, I would avoid this service ESPECIALLY THE 84!!!!

Horrible service all around
You would expect a service like this won’t run smoothly from the beginning, but omg how bad this whole Bee network can be.
Timetables don’t mean anything anymore. Buses are constantly late by 10-15+. Sometimes they show up and not even stop as they’re already full.
The 10 and 93 are extremely unreliable. The morning services(before 7am) never arrive even though they’re scheduled.
This morning I had a dentist appointment and waited more than an hour for the 8 to arrive only to see it stop in another station and the driver closing the doors even though he’s seen me running. A horrible experience.
Remove from bus
Was on the 36 towards Bolton today. Two guys got on bus and asked for tickets or passes. I refused to show my ticket. And was ask to leave the bus which I did even having a valid ticket. They never said how they were. They need to tell us who they are. When I got to Bolton interchange had 7 security waiting for me .
