You should know
Not Fit For Purpose
Thought I'd give the bee network time to bed in because everyone's allowed some teething problems but my god its got considerably worse (writing this from a convoy of 6 buses which is the norm). The design is such that there's barely any seats and then a big open space for phantom wheelchairs and buggies which is never used. Everyone who goes to the back of the bus smacks their head on the ceiling including me who is 5ft 2". They are unbearably slow - it's quicker for me to drive to work in Macclesfield than to travel by bus from Swinton to Manchester making it impossible to be on time for anything. The drivers seem to be totally inexperienced, aggressive and obviously customer care was not on the person spec. There was the tiniest bit of snow about a month ago so not one single bus was coming out of Bolton - not that you'd have any idea from the app which is NOT live - just tells you the theoretical timetable - being a sentient human being I'm able to read that on the bus stop. If anything happens like a train strike or football match it is total meltdown. Thankfully stagecoach still run a 38 which is cheaper, reliable and able to cope when the bee network isn't- I really hope this service continues.

Horrible service 2 out of 3 buses don't stop for wheelchair users,when clearly the bus is empty.once on there's a post in the centre of the wheelchair space,giving the wheelchair user no room to manoeuvre into the correct position for safety reasons.that post needs removing.if bee network want wheelchairs to be correctly parked.

Mediocre service. How can the first service be late on a weekend it's beyond me. V1 is always late. The live updates are not live, sometimes I get there before the bus

Buses due but they don’t turn up
I was standing at the bus stop on Liverpool road opposite Peel Green lane waiting for a bus to the Trafford Centre. The app said number 20 was ‘due in 2 minutes’, then a little later ‘due’ then a little later no information about that bus at all. It just disappeared off my app and no bus turned up. Did it just disappear on Liverpool Rd? Or did it enter a vortex at the Eccles interchange? We will never know!! I was then asked about the 67, by 2 lads waiting for that bus. Again it was due in 7 minutes but as it supposedly got closer and it became ‘due’ on the app but mysteriously that never appeared either. I think it’s worse to have an app like this, it encourages you to wait for buses that just don’t turn up. On the up side the App did at least inform me with 5 minute waiting time left that the 22 was cancelled. Seriously I’d been waiting a good 10 minutes by then. The 100 finally appeared on time but I could have done something else with my time rather than wait for 2 buses that should have come earlier.

Worst bus service I’ve ever dealt with. Always late by 20+ minutes and I use the 362 service everyday. I understand if it’s a school day but even for a Sunday it is an hour late! The arriva service was much more efficient to say the least. I may as well walk instead.

Less frequent buses, Never turn up, never on time and charge more, a weekly ticket last 5 days, for the corporations not for the people. Can't wait to get a car this amount pain to get home after work isn't worth it

Poor time management and staff
Absolutely terrible service. The app doesn’t show if the bus is cancelled so we would have no and would be left sitting in the cold. The buses never come on the time they are supposed to, they are either really early or 30-40 minutes late and when late two buses show up. The amount of times i have been late to things is horrendous. Then when on the bus, some of the drivers have not been given the correct training as they go the complete wrong way. Rude staff too, waited an hour for a bus to show then once on and about to pay the driver in a incorrect manner shoved my phone away and told me to just get on because the screen was not working. Love the idea of what the company supports but would be better to have a map with the route of the busses to know where they are instead of relying on minuets.
Delayed, cancel and bad run of services
A lot of people rely on the tram service everyday. The delayed, canceled without a notice of services become usual especially during the holiday. They just focus on picking people didn't buy tickets. Always coming in a group of ticket officer to check tickets but not focus on the accuracy of on time performance. All the money goes to hire the ticket officers to pick on people and delay the service without any responsibility.

Looks better but no change in pathetic delays, doesn’t even tell you live of how late there gonna be so can’t be trusting their busses, arriva is so much better tells you exactly how delayed they are so you don’t have to stand and wait for a non existing bus.
Very bad service
Very bad service. Buses are always late, you go to the bus at specific time as per the bus time table and they never arrive on time!
People have to wait an extra 40-50 minutes in the cold and then 2 buses come at the same time.
I've been late almost every day, even though I set off 30 mins earlier than I suppose to just to get on an early bus, but its late almost every single day.
We as customers pay for this terrible service and no one does anything about is as we have no other choice for transport.
Got a monopoly on the bus service and people have to pay for bus that comes 40 minutes late.

Absolutely horrible service
Absolutely horrible service. V1/V2 route was previously operated by First Bus and they provided a great service. Ever since Bee took over, most buses are cancelled, buses that eventually arrive are absolutely full. Their app is completely useless. Worst bus service in Manchester!
Disappointing
I really like the idea behind this company but the execution is lacking. No tracking, buses always late or really early. The app doesn't show the bus you want if it is late, no way to know if cancelled. 1 bus turned up out of 3 Wigan to Leigh number 10. Advertising as raising standards, only thing being raised is my blood pressure, if I had the option I would use a different service. Late for work most days since bee network took over and leave early enough so I should be 30 minutes early but still end up late

Awful bus plan stagecoach was better
Awful bus plan every beenetwok bus I have gone for so far has either not turned up or been an hour late it’s a joke there are always about 10 drivers sat down on buses that aren’t in service laughing at people waiting as they drive past it’s disgusting some people have jobs and have to get to work on time stagecoach was way better. And the app is so unhelpful stagecoach used to let u track the bus bee network doesn’t because most of the time it’s not there and it’s parked up with all the driving stood outside
