My involvement with Bespoke Bathing Company began on the 15th of March 2021 when I was quoted for the following,

A walk-in bath with hydrotherapy and a power seat. A thermostatic mixer shower valve, grab rails, soap dish and shower basket.
This was to be fitted in my wet room and I was assured by the sales person that my wet room floor would not be damaged in anyway. The two fitters came and the bath delivered and placed in my wet room. The two fitters had already completed some work but then told me they needed to cut a hole in the floor as they had not been sent the correct part for drainage. I reluctantly agreed as so much had already been done. On reflection I should have stopped work at this stage. However the bath was fitted and the two men asked me to sign a form rating their work, this I did and I was pleased with the outcome, what I didn't know was that I was signing to say the work had been completed. This they knew to be untrue as I had to wait for an electrician to complete the work. Even so the company decided to withdraw money for the final payment from my account without my knowledge, leaving me in arrears and paying interest charges.

When the electrician arrived a few weeks later he informed that the wiring had not been correctly fitted and had to spend the whole afternoon correcting the first two men's work.

With regard to the hydrotherapy, the sale person told me that it would have three speeds. When I came to use it on my first bath I found that it had only one. On or Off. This again was fitted with out consulting with me. When I finally got to speak with a technician he told me that they no longer use the variable speed model as it was unreliable. I asked what the price difference was and he said there wasn't one. They also appear not to have informed their sales staff that they have changed models.

At this stage (the end of July) I was still waiting for my shower basket and soap dish to be fitted and in the meantime two of the air vents to the hydrotherapy were not working. On the 27th of July I finally had my shower basket fitted but he could not fix the air vents. Finally on the 3rd of August 2021 I received my soap dish and my air vents were fixed.

This whole experience for me has been a complete shambles and extremely stressful and when I suggested some form of compensation they replied offering me with a further six months warranty as a gesture of good will. In my opinion a luxury item such as this should have a ten year guarantee not just one year.

We are sorry that you have had a few concerns relating to your installation.
Firstly with regard to your flooring, it is necessary at times for our fitters to make alterations in order for new products to be fitted, as in your case. Our fitter adapted the waste for the walk-in bath which involved cutting a hole in the floor. However, he has ensured that no damage has been caused to the floor at all during this process.
We have spoken to the electrician and he has advised us that there was nothing unsafe or incorrect about the initial connection to the electrics, and he was merely saying that the method used was not to his preference and that was why he altered the arrangement. We are sure you appreciate that everyone works to their own preferred method.
We apologise for the fact that the specification change to the spa was not communicated to you in advance. The specification change is of benefit to our customers to avoid any problems with the use of the spa in the future. We would confirm that the change in specification was communicated to our sales team but we have re-advised the individual concerned to ensure there is no misunderstanding in the future.
As mentioned to you previously, the Customer Satisfaction Certificate signed by you on completion clearly states that by signing the form the installation has been completed to your satisfaction as per the Contract and authorises the completion payment.
As a gesture of goodwill the Company have offered you an extended warranty at no expense to yourself which you have accepted.
Although positive feedback is what we strive to achieve from each customer, we do appreciate negative feedback as this gives us an opportunity to review our operating procedures and to strive to improve our service in the future. Kind regards. Bespoke Bathing Company

Perfect new bathroom

Just at mum's house and wanted to give a thumbs up to Bespoke Bathing. Her new bathroom is just perfect and we couldn't be happier. There were lots of designs to choose from and all great quality. We spent a little more than originally planned, but easy to get carried away! Great value all told. Mum loved having Richard and Warren working here. They kept everywhere very tidy and were super friendly too. Would definitely recommend!

2 walk-in showers…

We’ve recently had 2 walk-in showers installed. One was absolutely fine, but we’re still waiting for them to lay the floor, one month later and counting. The second shower needs to be redone as it’s not draining, taps leaking, and it was made too small for the space in the first instance. Waiting a month and counting. Very little sense of urgency about completing this job. Very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend

Due to various reasons including the pandemic and Brexit, we, like many companies across the country, have experienced significant difficulties in sourcing and obtaining supplies. This has impacted our business and caused delays to our customers. Whilst we endeavour to complete our installations as quickly and efficiently as possible, occasionally delays occur through no fault of our own.
Our Installations Department have advised you today that there is one outstanding bracing bar for the shower screen which has been ordered and will be fitted as soon as we receive it.

UNBELEIVABLE-previously when we had…

UNBELEIVABLE-previously when we had issues which were quickly resolved i confidently predicted that issues would not be repeated as it was a Learning Curve for Bespoke Bathing-but OH DEAR!! telephoned to report an issue on Monday 19th July was told we would be contacted by telephone on Friday 23rd but ALAS no return call i had to phone BESPOKE so five working days had passed with no further contact, as a result of my phoning was that i would be contacted by phone on MONDAY 26th but ALAS once again i had to phone bespoke, on the Tuesday received calls (x2) from BESPOKE that someone would be at our house by Mid Day on Thursday 29th BUT ALAS at 16-05 we STILL HAVE an UNRESOLVED issue because no one turned up, this will now be 9 WORKING DAYS i am very disappointed ,the learning curve obviously bore no fruit

A call out was logged for you when you telephoned on Monday 19th July and we did explain that our service engineer comes in to the office on a Friday to arrange his call outs for the following week. We spoke to you on 26th July and advised you that our engineer had scheduled your job for around lunchtime on Thursday 29th July but that he would telephone with a more accurate ETA when he was on route to you. Due to a hold-up on his previous call, together with problems due to traffic congestion, our engineer was later than anticipated but did attend on the due date to carry out the necessary work. We are sorry that you are unhappy with the service we have provided but are sure you will appreciate that delays occasionally occur which are unavoidable and which are beyond our control.

This could have been a five star…

Fitter did return and make good on some items, but not all and further damage left, so most certainly not satisfied, just given up as CC is hopeless! Very dissatisfied.
This could have been a five star review, fitter was excellent, product good, but over have was late, missing, then didn't turn up! Admin & Customer Care seems to be none existent, none of my emails have been answered and calls not picked up. We still don't have a basin! Had to have white trim instead of the chrome ordered, as no clue when it might turn up. So Bespoke went home on Friday knowing that we didn't have a functional bathroom (only one we have), it's very disappointing & frustrating. Will it ever get sorted? They have had 90% payment and i will be expecting a discount. Very upset.

Solved our shower issue!

We contacted about fixing or potentially having a new electric shower fitted as ours was no longer working properly. Tim came out the next day to have a look for us, contacted the shower manufacture whilst he was there and managed to solve the problem for us. We were not charged for this and he saved us a lot of money. We are so grateful and it’s lovely to see there are still decent people out there! Would definitely recommend using for their honesty and helpful nature

Brilliant job, thank you

My mum has had her walk-in bath for well over a year now and just been to visit. It still looks fantastic, no issues since and my mum says it has changed her life. She still remembers Charles fondly, even if he drank all her tea! So, a big thank you from all the family for a brilliant job.

Really pleased with our new walk-in bath and shower Warren & Richard worked none stop the time they were here. They don't stop for lunch but they do like their cuppa Two good lads I really enjoyed the time I had with them thank's lads.

Walk in shower

I was due to have my walk in shower fitted in Dec. But due to family problems, it was put off till January. A guy arrived with his son ( and not another qualified fitter?). From day one i was subjected to listening to all sorts of language ( i would not expect from a so called reputable company). It seemed that there was one disaster after another. Ne day he needed to go out three times to buy parts to fix what he had broken! I also had a gas fire in the bathroom which was taken out by him and not a qualified gas fitter ( which i add had been added to the quote i was given). Every day there seemed to be a drama of some sort ( so the language became more colourful). On two days when I questioned something, i ended up getting blamed for him cutting the wall panels incorrectly, then leaving in the morning and not coming back from Friday morning until Monday. Corners around the windows were cut incorrectly (as he obviously ran out of trim and rather than get another piece, made joins which look really unsightly.
After having numerous phone calls with the office it was arranged that i wouldn’t pay the full bill. To date i still do not have my Guarantee for the shower room.
I would not recommend this company to do your bathroom. But reading other reviews i may have been unlucky with the fitter i was sent.

Economical with the true story

Your reply does not tell the full story. The quote for the shower was given over the phone. No discussion re fittings etc
Your man from technical stated that the shower would cost an additional £200 for an electrician to test plus his mileage. He could not say what the mileage costs would be a,So you expected me to pay circa £5500 for a unit on which I had had no say as to colour or fixtures. Sorry I dont do business on those terms.

We can confirm that at an initial meeting with our Surveyor at your home you were given a quotation for a walk-in bath. Following the meeting you decided a walk-in shower would better serve your needs, and thus our Surveyor gave you a quotation over the telephone. Following this discussion, you telephoned the office regarding technical points and spoke to our Operations Manager to advise that you would prefer installation of an electric shower. Our Operations Manager explained to you that fitting the higher spec electric shower of your choice would incur additional costs to those quoted by our Surveyor (in excess of £200.00) but that we would cap these at a maximum of £200.00 to suit your budget.

Arrangements were made for a different member of our Sales Team to attend your property on 18th February to run through colour schemes and choice of fittings, etc, but shortly after the appointment was made you sent a text message asking to cancel the appointment. We have repeatedly tried to contact you to address and satisfy your complaints but without success. As our reviews show, we have supplied and fitted numerous mobility adapted bathrooms for many satisfied customers, but on this occasion you have chosen not to accept the quotation for our services or to communicate with us further in order for us to resolve the situation. promptly each day. We were kept up to date with
everything they did or suggested. Overall we are very

After a few false starts

After a few false starts, which were sorted promptly by Vicky. We now a walk in shower adapted for Mum needs.
Brandon the fitter was hardworking, cleaned up after himself and even put a roller blind and mirror. Lovely young man.
Mum is really pleased and Bobby (the cat) has inspected the work and has given it his approval.

Waiting!

My Wife and I had a walk in shower installed in July 2020 and as said in an earlier post said we were pleased with the work which was first rate the installers were first rate and we were over the moon. The end fo August we realised that the seat was the wrong one the one we ordered had arms,and my wife who broke her femur needs the arms to push herself up. Contacted the firm and they said they would sort it out. A fitter came in October to change the seat but he could not as it had diffrent fittings he said he would go back and inform the boss about the problem did not hear nothing for a few weeks so I phoned and spoke to Tim and told him I thought the chair could be taken off the frame and put the one with arms on he said he would look into it or the would dismantle the cladding and replace it. But it is now the end of January and am still waiting to hear my wife is very timmed to go into the shower and paying £5,600 would like my wife to be able to shower with piece of mind. As I said earlier the work was first class just this problem with the seat look forward to hear from them
