I changed my insurance company to Better Home Cover for a tenanted property. helpful advice received about the cover. But fingers crossed I do not need to call on the company for problems. ;I have no reason to doubt that I will not receive the same degree of advice should I need it.

Better Homes Broke my Boiler
I asked for my yearly boiler service. They came to service it and broke my working boiler, leaving my family including my aged parents without heat or hot water. After sending round 3 different gas people, my working boiler was no longer working and neither was the underfloor heating. So no heating and hot water. They then had the cheek to offer me less than £500 towards a new boiler as they condemned the boiler that they just broke, even though the boiler was just 5 years old. Still not resolved. I wouldn't recommend them.

At Better Home Cover, we make every effort to produce documentation for our customers that is clear and easy to understand. Our policy states that cover is for your heating system and not just the boiler itself.
We have communicated clearly to you why we were unable to assist on this occasion as the fault was relating purely to a maintenance issue and did not constitute an emergency.
We are sorry that on this occasion, we were unable to assist, but the circumstances of your claim clearly and properly fell outside the terms of your cover with us.

Brilliant company,had issue with my boiler called up and I was advised someone would be out to look at it,it got fixed that day.
