WARRANTY IS NON-EXISTENT, THERE ISN’T AN AFTER-CARE TEAM.

I’m trying to get hold of someone from the so called aftercare team (if it exists within this company) it’s been over ten days after reporting on the warranty app which apparently is the best way and as I found out no one wants to discuss the problem with me on the phone and the only number that answers is head office which is about as much help as a car that don’t work and of course answerif you want a new car, the incompetence is on a different level! whoever is replying to these messages can you please get in touch with me on here to try and resolve this without it going to the smallest claims court, which I’ve been advised that I will win as I’ve paid for a service which is non-existent.
Looking forward to hear

Never again

Never again!

Proper pushy sales like old fashioned time share. Keep you sitting about and trying to find you a car any car? They hadn’t got what I wanted so I was not interested, then they push you to buy wheel insurance which we have had before and didn’t pay out also the coating extra which I had on a mini and they wouldn’t pay out on that also. You don’t get a warranty! It’s £500 for a 3 month warranty and to extend it to 12 months at a cost of £2000. What a rip off! Terrible way to treat and push customers. Awful company. Plus they offered me 8k for my car. I got £11,680 at a main dealer.

It seems very popular. But do yourselves a favour and don’t give them your details. I’ve been harassed this week with constant phone calls.

FYI - I got a car the same day. With a main dealer and 12 months warranty, better offer on my car. They’re just out to make money off people.

Efficient, friendly

Super welcoming and friendly without being pushy. Was a relaxed and easy, quick experience and would recommend this place for anyone, especially people who are first buyers.

Great experience from start to finish

Great experience from start to finish. The staff were friendly, helpful, and not pushy, making the whole process stress-free. Everything was clear and transparent, and I’m really happy with my car. Highly recommend!

Absolutely appalling experience

Absolutely appalling experience. I purchased a £20,000 car from this dealership only to discover the tyres and brakes were already below the safe limit recommended by the RAC, at the point of sale. For a dealer to sell a vehicle in this condition is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about their vehicle checks and customer safety standards.

When I contacted the dealership, the aftersales representative, Charlotte Meekcoms, was extremely unhelpful and dismissive. Despite the obvious safety issues, the dealership refused to cover the cost of replacing the tyres and brakes, leaving me with a large unexpected bill immediately after purchase.

I would strongly advise anyone considering buying from here to thoroughly inspect any vehicle independently before handing over money. Very disappointing experience and poor aftersales support.

Avoid at all costs. If I could give minus stars I could

If I could give minus stars I would. Things went wrong from day dot. Misinformation provided at time of sale such as car having a sat nav that was operational. Issues found on day of collection with wireless charging doc. Staff at the Wimbledon branch were in large unhelful and had a huge lack of knowledge. When issue raised (still at the sales office) i was referred to Mazda head office. Within 2,000 miles (less than a week of ownership) car became undrivable. DPF issues costing in the region of 4,000 to repair. BMW refused to fix and instead asked my garage to give the filter a quick clean and reduce oil level. My garage refused to carry out the temporary measure stating it may turn warning light off for now but would cause significant problems and possibly fire. After weeks of chasing, contacting the ombudsman and eventually threatening police action i was awarded a rejection and refund.

Though I have not been given the expenses incurred such as the independent diagnostic report of 100 BMW authorised before being carried out. I have since recieved a speeding fine for this car for an offence a month after it was taken out of my possession. It is now for sale in their Peterborough branch.

As much as I would advise anyone to steer clear of this company full stop and have learnt in dealing with them the lack of customer sevice, care and professionalism is a company wide issue not specific to the branch I dealt with initially. I would definitely avoid this car at any cost WHITE MAZDA CX5 LM22YYZ

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would! Avoid this company at all costs. I bought a car from them recently, they supplied the wrong charge cable and after over three months they have completely dismissed my complaint. Constant mess around from their so called customer service which was awful and totally unprofessional. At first the issue with charging was not identified as they did not allow me to bring it into their so called “master technician” but told me to go to cupra which I did and they stated the issue was an incorrect charge cable which should have been supplied with the car. This cost me over £500 and motoring world offered me £99. After over three months of constant messing around by them and not being able to charge the car they decided that they were dismissing my complaint and they would not take any further action or even look into it further. Disgusting service from a rip off company with no regard to customers. All they tried to do is upsell everything, warranty etc which you can get way cheaper sourcing on line. I got a much better finance deal than they offered also. When I questioned that their so called 200 point check was not completed properly as they would have noticed that the car was not charging they just ignored my questions and disregarded my complaint and issue. Issues area still ongoing with the car including electrical faults and the battery life has been badly affected due to lack of charge for months
DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS COMPANY WHO ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS LINING THEIR POCKETS AND TGEN FOBBING YOU OFF ONCE THE SALE IS COMPLETE. The quicker they suffer financially and hopefully go out of business the better….AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I would give less if I could

I would give less if I could. This review is for the Leeds branch but my email was also ignored by head office. I reserved a car at the start of April. We went to collect to be told when we arrived that the car had been called in for a recall and therefore we couldn't take it home that day. Very disappointing considering we drove all the way and a phone call in advance from the company would have saved us the hassle. We took out insurance as we believed we were collecting the car that day. We then booked to pick the car up on the 11th April so we kept the insurance running. On the 11th April I received a call asking to book a slot to pick up the car that day, which is strange sonce I booked a slot in person the day we went to collect and couldn't take it. I asked on the phone whether it had come back from the Kia garage to be told it never went there in the first place and that I could sort the recall once I'd bought the car. Why an earth I would buy a faulty car is beyond me, and there was no explanation as to why it hadn't made it to the garage on the 9th. I then asked for it to be rebooked in for a recall and to be called back when they had sorted a date with the garage. I didn't receive a call back so chased this up again to be told the 29th - 3 weeks later than the first recall date. I had to cancel my insurance at the point, so I have paid for insurance for a car I never even received. What is more, I rang several times after the 29th to check if it had come back from the garage yet. Noone was helpful and just said I needed to wait. It would have been nice for someone to offer to call Kia and find out the information about when the car might be ready. I chased this up again this morning, asking to speak to a manager. I was promised on the phone a manager would call me back at 11.30. I reiterated that I had been promised calls back on several occasions and I needed assurance someone would call me back at 11.30. The man on the phone said "100%" and I've still not received a call. I will never recommend this company and I will be asking for my deposit back which they have been holding for 6 weeks now.

DO NOT purchase from Big Motoring…

DO NOT purchase from Big Motoring World.

I’m not a regular reviewer - I have the innately British flaw of hating conflict and saying ‘that’s great!’ even when it is distinctly not.

However, in this case it is more upset that leads me to hope that people see this and aren’t put in the same position that we now are. We purchased a family vehicle from Big Motoring World (Wimbledon) last summer, when we found out that I was pregnant. A relative had died and we were very kindly left just enough to buy a second hand car. The sales associate was kind and helpful, but encouraged us to get a warranty with our purchase which we added on with our own money, thinking that this was very sensible parent behaviour. Stupidly, we thought we’d be covered and safe when baby arrived and never be without a car - we have no family nearby, so the car gets me and baby to my mum when needed and is quite a lifeline.

Firstly, the clutch went when I was on the dual carriageway - I was staying with my mum at the time and thankfully, unusually, my daughter wasn’t in the car.

Secondly, when we went to claim on our warranty that we had paid for fully for 2 years, we were told we didn’t have a warranty. They had taken the money but never given us our cover. We managed to provide proof from our end that we did buy it so they begrudgingly activated it.

Thirdly, despite only driving 2000 miles in the time we have had the car (10 months) and the garage discovering that the clutch had been poorly replaced once before and this led to the fault, the warranty company have denied our claim. We are left baffled as to what could possibly be covered in the warranty at all if not a faulty part fitted prior to our ownership?

We are now scraping together what little we have while I’m on maternity pay to get the car back out of our own pocket, as we have no way of getting to family and being based in London we live in a postage stamp sized flat so have no support without travelling a few hours to family.

We sincerely wish we had never ever bought it and instead sought a more reputable, stable, transparent company for what was a huge purchase for us in our current circumstances. We will be fine, thankfully, but I know there are people who would not be able to manage in this situation, so if you’re able to look elsewhere and put your money somewhere better then definitely do!

Changing Prices?!

I was looking at an Kia Niro 3, which was up for £17,900 and has been since 07/05/26 and before then 21/04/26 it was at £18,000. I enquired to ask questions about the car specifically the battery and if certain cables were included, as I was talking through the chat the price increased to £18,100 which I then questioned and they brushed it off with we do dynamic pricing to the market. Seems abit suspect that it happens exactly when I enquire about the car and they wouldn't provide a battery health report.

Hi,

We are sorry about your disappointment so far.

In regards to the increased price of the vehicle, while I do apologise that you are disappointed with the increased price, our prices can change as our system automatically updates our vehicle's prices according to Autotrader’s live recommended retail value. It is because of this that we advise that you reserve our vehicles, as this would ensure that the price is capped at the time of your reservation so that the price would not increase and that your vehicle is not sold to someone else.

Kindest regards,
Big Motoring World

Disappointing Experience – Issue Not Resolved Before Purchase

I recently purchased a car from Big Motoring World and unfortunately my experience was disappointing.

During the test drive, a low tyre pressure warning appeared on the dashboard. I pointed this out to the salesperson and asked for it to be properly checked before purchase. I followed up on this two more times and was reassured each time that everything had been taken care of.

However, after getting the car home, the issue persisted. The tyre kept losing pressure and I had to keep inflating it. It later turned out there was a nail in the tyre, and replacing it cost me £250.

I feel that my concerns were not taken seriously, and that the main focus during the sale was on pushing finance options and selling an additional paid warranty.

Overall, I’m disappointed with the level of customer care and the lack of proper checks before handing over the vehicle.

Hi K. Mlynski,

We apologise for any inconvenience or frustration caused by the issues you've encountered with your vehicle's tyres.

All of our vehicles are subjected to an inspection prior to their placement on the forecourt. I understand from your communication with our after-sales team that they requested the invoice and any reports regarding the replacement of this tyre, but didn't get a response to this. They also sent multiple emails asking you to confirm if you required further assistance, but didn't receive a response.

If you require further assistance, please get back in touch with the After-Sales team, who will be able to assist you.

Kindest regards,

Big Motoring World Camberley.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to the amazing team at Big Motoring World Camberley.

Today I received such a lovely surprise through Royal Mail Tracked — the spare key for my car, months after purchase. I honestly have never known customer service like this before, and it really meant a lot.

From the very beginning, the purchase of my new motor was completely hassle-free, and every member of the Camberley team has been so supportive and helpful throughout. Receiving the spare key today was the absolute cherry on the cake!

Thank you again for going above and beyond — it’s genuinely appreciated.

The after sales service I received has been disgusting

The after sales service I received has been disgusting. No ownership taken of the issue ( a car less than 2 years old just purchased from them with 2000 miles on the clock). The car needed a new clutch but the service BMW (under warranty) provided was hopeless, slow to reply or get things moving. I ended up having to push for the repairs with no help from them. They did their best to avoid replacing the clutch and in the end I was without a usable car for 8 weeks, which they don't consider worthy of any compensation or goodwill gesture. All smiles whilst purchasing but after sales - BEWARE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS !
