Very convenient service offering bike collection and drop-off, with SMS updates to let you know when this will be.
Overall the quality of the service was good, but:
1. I needed to chase for updates when I hadn't heard anything after the 72-hour turnaround period mentioned on the website.
2. Issue with gear cable was resolved, but gears came back incorrectly indexed.

Very thorough service, bike returned in good clean condition. Comms with technician was good and advised where problems were found and how much it would be to resolve.
Took a while longer to return once the job was completed but didn’t cause me any issues.

My experience with bike hero has been absolutely flawless. These guys go above and beyond to fix your bike, as they also come and pick it up and drop it off, while being very communacative all all points, plus they do an excellent job clean and repairing. Honestly I love this company. 11/10

Great convenient service and top quality servicing.

Bike hero did a great job on my ebike, full service and new brake pads and discs. Was informed of the repairs and price before they did the work and now I have the bike back it feels like a brand new bike.
Only reason I did not give 5 stars if that the bike was not picked up or dropped off on either of the days I booked which was a little bit frustrating waiting in all day for them not to turn up. But will still recommend and will be using them again for next service.

" The pick-up and drop-off service was extremely convenient, and my bike came back looking like new—the work done definitely improved its performance. However, I have mixed feelings overall. I paid well over £200 for the service and parts, and had specifically asked for one of my tyres to be checked due to recurring punctures. Although I was told the tyre and rim tape were fine, and that nothing further was needed, I’ve since had three more punctures. Given that it’s a Schwalbe Marathon Plus (which isn’t typically prone to punctures), I was disappointed that the issue wasn’t investigated further—especially as I’d asked whether the rim tape could be renewed. After raising this again, I was advised to consider replacing the tyre. At this price point, I expected a more proactive approach and a clearer resolution to a concern I’d flagged at the outset. "

Amazing service from start to finish. First class. Was looking to have my wife/my bike serviced before going to CParcs and looked locally. My local centre just gave me reasons to look again due cost timeframe and will not offer pick up and drop off. After more research I find Bike Hero and they said no problems and it was collected next day and returned in next day looking brand new. Wow and it does not end there they offered the 2nd bike at 30% off. I have now booked in 2 more bikes for September- you will not be disappointed

Overall the maintenance service was good. However it felt too impersonal in terms of the communications throughout the service, in particular at the quotation stage, subsequent amendments and specially at the bike return point where it would have been preferable to have had a 1:1 debrief on what has been done and/or any recommendations.

Faultless service. Used twice and both times been very pleased

I really like the friendly and professional pick up as well as the quality of work on my bike.

Areas for improvement are definitely communication. My bike was gone for 2 weeks and on the Friday at 15min before they closed I recieved an email saying it could be on the delivery for the next day.

I paid for everything at 05:30am on Saturday or there abouts but was not able to book a delivery slot on the day. I was working night shift and that's when I got home. So delivery was then only 4 days later on the Wednesday.

I was happy to be able to use a discount code on the service price but the whole bill was still alot more than I expected at over £308.

I think going forward i would like to see a timeline or have regular contact when waiting for parts, having it installed and getting that delivery booked in ASAP as it was not convenient for me to be without my bike for so long.

I would also like the parts recommended to be broken down into crucial, good to replace or optional. I need to know what must be replaced vs replacing everything as upsells. My chain for example was replaced this year and now I've paid to replace it again...

The bike looks good and will take it out tomorrow to see how it rides and if all the clicking noises are gone.
