The bicycle exceeded my expectations based on the description: it's in excellent condition, clean, and functions well. They even included a large bike chain with the purchase. The delivery service was outstanding, and communication with customer service was both friendly and efficient.

I had a wonderful experience with BikeFair. Everything worked as expected and the bike was really good. They’ve also called me to know about my experience and follow up about the insurance.

I bought a bike through Bikefair to use on a three week tour of the old Western Front. I did this from home in Canada, and the Bikefair people made that easy. They even phoned me to clarify details of delivery! The bike was exactly as described, and worked like a champ throughout my travels. Whenever I needed some local knowledge, I contacted Bikefair and they always did what they could to help. Considering there is little likelihood of me being a repeat customer, I thought their support was extraordinary. Buying anything second hand is a crapshoot, but Bikefair comes very close to eliminating potential disappointments, maybe as close as any marketplace can get. They are great people, offering a well-run service, and I would recommend them without hesitation.

I made a purchase and one week later the seller could not fulfill the delivery (probably didn't have the bike to begin with, or sold it to someone else outside Bikefair).

They swapped the order for a new bike that had very different specs from the original one. I sent them a preferred option via email and support chat but never got a reply.

I should be getting a refund soon at least.

It was my first time using Bikefair and I had a really bad experience. Cannot recommend it.

Highly recommend this company! Great customer service, quick delivery. Ordered a bike on Monday that turned out to already be sold. They promptly called me to apologize and gave me 8 different options to pick from. On Tuesday, they indeed showed up with two of the bikes that I picked and could try out. Ended up picking one and didn't have to pay extra even though this one was more expensive than what I initially ordered. Will definitely order from them again.

A Brilliant experience. The bike and accessories arrived in good order, but it was too big.

The seller returned the bike, and sent another choice I had to replace it; which is amazing - only problem is that the new bike can’t have a lock installed.

Customer support have mentioned how they can help, but am completely happy with the bike. And glad that BikeFair cares

I am surprised this website is not more popular. Should be the default for selling and buying bikes. Love their streamlined process.

The service is really modern and the user experience is pretty clear and straightforward. I bought two bikes for me and my wife last week and both of them are really nice. I've also really liked the set of educational articles that being sent to you once you've indicated that you've received your bike. They teach you on how to lock the bike properly and just some nice overall tips on owning a bike in general. As a newcomer to Amsterdam I appreciate them.

For another bike need I will order it from Bikefair.

I bought a bike from a "professional" seller, in the description it was written that after payment I would receive photos of the bike, and only after confirmation it would be shipped.

The bike was shipped directly, without confirmation, and for 140 euros I received a bike with completely rusted wheels and wrinkles even on the frame, plus some squeaks.

Obviously, the seller and bikefair do not respond to my messages.

De seller replaced the rear wheel with a new one, I would have preferred to replace the whole bike or at least both wheels, but was not possible for some reason.
Not good nor bad.

You should only get your bikes from here! Very responsive team and hold sellers accountable. Great details on the listings as well. Delivery is fast. One thing to consider is that the accessories that are recommended may not be the right size for your actual bike. Also while the bikes usually have free delivery, buying an accessory is separate and has its own delivery fee.
