After using their WordPress hosting for my personal projects recently, and the platform setup is incredibly straightforward. The server uptime is very consistent.
Not only did my online live rep quickly diagnose my issues, but they made the steps to fix it. I didn't have to do anything. That's exactly what I need!
I used to think Bluehost had some of the best customer service around, but have changed my opinion. It took several tries for the person to understand what I was asking, and they prompted me to look at links and documents that I had previously told them that I had looked at (and was why I was reaching out to support). They were then very pushy about renewing my services early and didn't seem to know what they were telling me. They would tell me one thing and send me a link that said the complete opposite. I told them I had to go and thanked them for their help and they just kept asking over and over the same thing. It took a long time for them to end the conversation.
The best part about this experience is the service provided by Ms. Pooja N. She was knowledgeable, offered creative solutions, and was very proactive in her attempt to keep me as a customer AND to work within my financial limitations.
It remains that the quality of Hostgator's service is declining faster than snow melts in the sun.
I really destroyed my website as I lost access to one of my wordpress sites when I tried to link one of my domains to my second site. Adithya was amazing, linked both my domains to the correct site, making sure along the way the domains were to the correct site, restored my wordpress access to both websites and even installed the SSL certificate on the website that didn't have it. Couldn't thank Adithya for the service.

I migrated my site to Bluehost with the assistance of the migration team. The migration went smoothly once I was able to give the information needed. When I bumbled at the beginning of the migration, Bluehost's migration team provided the means and the instruction to help me through it. I'm not an expert at coding, etc., and I'm only just capable with technical jargon, so it was nice to know that the Bluehost imigration team had my back.

Chris, in tech support, immediately figured out what was wrong and fixed it. The main reason I use Bluehost is because you have actual people (who know what they’re doing) vs AI or worse, just emailing support. Very happy with my experience.

I contacted Bluehost about a fairly complex matter. It was clear that their AI agent couldn't solve this, but the AI agent was helpful in putting me in contact with a real person, who was very helpful and effective in resolving the matter.

I have no respect for this company anymore. I paid for a domain name which is in service until 2027. On May 29th, wordpress took out $195.00 from my account. Then I got an email from Bluehost stating that my account was not paid and cancelled. I logged into one of my website and it said suspended. When I tried chatting with the rep, she told me that BLUEHOST AND WORDPRESS DO NOT WORK TOGETHER. I had to tell her that yes they do. Wordpress is the admin where I create my website and BLuehost is the server with Titan email. My website with all my intellectual propertly which I didn't even get to download before it got cancelled, is now going to be deleted she told me! I am paid $833 monhtly. We are barely surviving in Canada. I am paying for two websites, barely making income, I am paying monthly for Titan email, which is horrible, and I have paid for my domain name until 2027 and I asked a simple question of can you postpone the payment until July 30th when I am paid next as I need to eat and buy gas. I literally have $30 in my account and she said NO. Or He. And said it would be deleted. Imagine. IMAGINE HOSTING A WEBSITE AND HAVING NO RESPECT FOR THE AMOUNT OF TIME AND EFFORT GONE INTO CREATING AND WRITING AND SHARING AND WHAT NOT AND TO JUST DELETE IT BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE THE MONEY RIGHT NOW TO PAY IT BUT WILL IN 26 DAYS! I AM IRATE. I AM SO DONE WITH BLUEHOST. IT IS OVERCHARGING. WORDPRESS CHARGES TOO. THEY TAKE SO MUCH MONEY FOR THE SAME THING. BOTH AGENCIES ARE JUST RIPPING PEOPLE OFF FOR THE SAME EXACT THINGS. This is what I was told " Regarding the hosting plan, I can temporarily activate the hosting plan for 15 days so you can take a backup of the account, but the expiry date will stay the same as June 12th, and it will get deleted anytime after 30 days if not renewed, and we cannot change it manually, as it is an automatic process from the server end." An automatic process that CAN BE HALTED FROM A HUMAN. And then when I asked for a refund for my domain name paid until 2027. I got this response. " Unfortunately! Due to the unique way that domains are registered, domain registrations and renewals are not able to be refunded. When a domain is renewed or registered, they are immediately and permanently updated at the registry level. For this reason we are not able to offer refunds for this particular product. " So-- I do not recommend Blue host. Way too many small hidden fees mixed with Wordpress for literally zero results. Way more options out there now. Way more. People can barely eat right now and this is how they treat entrepreneurs and super small women owned businesses just trying to figure out a way to be financially independent. I have no words anymore. But that is my intellectual property and I am getting it back! Not to mention last year my account was hacked and my emails were hacked and Titan is a nightmare. I have comments off and all I get are hundreds of BOTS asking me if I want to build an app. Constantly having to filter through that entire spam folder and delete them and they keep coming back! So no. I don't recommend Blue host nor the affiliate agencies being used once you get a website with them and through their services.

However rather than continue to complain I have decided to put in a Subject Assess Release (SAR) which is a legal requirement under the GDPR Act to get a copy of all notes and information they hold on me and transcripts of all conversations.
