Just awful

A year and a half in they still haven't managed to successfully install the boiler and the customer support is awful. Truly awful company stay away

Extremely helpful customer service

Extremely helpful customer service. Any issues I had, they could not have been more accommodating in finding a solution to my benefit. It was a nightmare to install a new boiler due to my house having old pipes that were no longer legal but the engineer that came was an absolute trooper. He stayed way beyond his working hours and just carried on like The Terminator until everything was sorted. I would happily recommend this company to friends and family.

Gas installation

Let’s just say that the experience I had with boilers on finance was good faded very quickly the manager does not know how to organise the boilers they are using are so cheap cheapest on market. They do not care about the customer. At al all they want is s signature they use no filters for protection so the boilers they use very bad Would steer clear of this company as there are several more better companies. The engineer left rubbish outside of my property which was all wet

Avoid this company

Avoid this company, i have been left with no working heating downstairs.
Called them after installation to notify them that 2 of the radiators have stoped working (now all 4) and was told that they could not care, installation has been complete and there will be nothing they are going to do.
Currently in contact with lawyers but with it being Christmas I have been left with no heating on downstairs level and red hot heaters upstairs.
Shocking place and treatment of customers.
AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.
To respond to the lies you are spouting.
I NEVER called you on Xmas eve I called you on the 15th of December 5 days after installation ( I have call recorded ) it is not a boiler fault it is an installation fault.
The engineer I called out (27/12/18) has stated that the fault is due to incorrect installation. If you had bothered to contact me you would have been informed of my findings. But as you have already stated on our call (15/12/18) job is complete and not your problem. As you state there "it turned out to be a manufactures issue" when did you find this out, did you come down my chimney in the dark of night or break in when I was at work. No one from boilers on finance has been in contact from the 15/12/18. As you have written these lies. I would like you to post any evidence you have of this call and your findings.or would you prefer me to post the calls on YouTube and ad link to review so we can see who is telling the truth.
Bottom line is on day of install(10/12/18) your engineer had difficulty getting 2 heaters to warm up. 2 days after (12/12/18) one heater stoped that then became 2 (same 2 as install day) I called you on the 15th and was told you will not be repairing of even coming to have a look. At time of review I had no downstairs heating.

Excellent Job

Michael arrived on time and worked constantly and removed the old boiler and replaced it with the new one. A great job done professionally and within five hours. Excellent service!

Most time efficient

This was the most time efficient and successful purchase I have ever made over the phone.
David was extremely pleasant and most helpful making me feel very confidant and at ease regarding the purchase of our new boiler.
David has made it very clear that further information or help regarding anything I am unsure of is easily accessible.
I am massively pleased with the outcome and can’t thank David enough for his patience and impeccable customer service whilst dealing with my request.

Fantastic Service!

David at boilers on finance is a gem. We got the boiler we wanted (A Baxi) for more than half of the price that British Gas had quotes us. Ordered it one week and the next week it was installed. Our engineer was so friendly and even babysat my dogs while I went to work on the second day.
Had a little hiccup with a dent on the front of the new boiler but one call to David and a new front casing was ordered right away with no questions asked. Can’t fault this company. They made something that is supposed to be stressful and a lot of work really straightforward and hassle free. Our engineer showed up nice and early on the second day to get everything all wrapped up and we love the new water pressure compared to our old boiler. You’d be daft not to give this company a try for a new boiler. They are friendly, professional and affordable!

Where do I even start!

Where do I even start! We hunted for a suitable boiler company offering finance over a long term and these guys appeared to come up as the best option. The order placing was excellent and we were approved and booked in. Wonderful. Or so I thought!
We have bought a house with a condemned boiler so planned for the install to happen before we moved in and booked the appropriate time off work (two days). The night before the work was due to start we had a call to say the engineer had overran and we wouldn’t be able to have our boiler for 3 weeks!! Queue melt down. The woman I spoke to, whilst apologetic, wasn’t really bothered. So we moved in and had no heating or hot water which was great as you can imagine. Finally, the day came and the engineer arrived. He needed an immense amount of help the whole day (from us) as the original plan of putting the boiler in the airing cupboard apparently wasn’t possible. Day two came and he didn’t turn up. Eventually a call came from head office to say the engineers van had been stolen over night so another chap was coming but would be at least 3 hours! He came and did a bit of work and then needed a third day (sure, we don’t need to go to work!). Finally the work was done, although the pipe work looks horrendous. However, we paid for a smart thermostat and a co2 detector. The engineer had neither. In fact, he claimed that the wireless thermostat that comes as standard was a smart one! Cue another call to the office to arrange another engineer visit for the correct thermostat. He was meant to come tonight. Guess what - he’s cancelled!! I also received our gas safety cert today and the name of the installer on it is different to the name on the gas safety certificate. Go figure! Oh and they use old and dirty plugs on your brand new boiler. In a nut shell, I’d avoid. The only reason they have more than one star is because by some miracle we do actually have a functioning boiler. They should charge a bit more and do site surveys instead of guessing how long the work will take and inevitably over running!
Edit: the engineer came back tonight to fit the smart thermostat. lo and behold, he had bought a standard wireless thermostat!

Absolutely disgusted

Absolutely disgusted with the service. The boiler has been in the property for only 2 weeks which whilst my family was asleep started leaking and directly underneath is the electrical plug/ socket for my washing machine this caused a dead short which could of started a house fire. The washing machine is 4 month old and is completly shot at due to the leak. Not only this but contacted the company to report the incident and they refuse to replace the washing mashine and the damage they have caused to my property also couldnt explain why they arnt liable.

Where do I start I have NEVER known…

Where do I start I have NEVER known such incompetence in all of my life, the poor engineer arrived early as he had promised the night before only to find they had sent out all the wrong equipment. I stood with the engineer listening to the call on loud speaker when he was told to" sort it out and to just chuck it in and complete the job" nice very professional . The poor guy then spent half the day sourcing parts and was then expected to complete the job on the same day or he'd loose his job. He was also TOLD to to remove asbestos (also heard on loud speaker call) I thought this was supposed to be done by an expert ? If this is the way they treat staff then I am not surprised by the reviews I have read.

Awful!!!!

Awful!!!!! I never write bad reviews for companies and to be honest when ever I see them I just think people are being ridiculous however my experience has been horrendous with boilers on finance !!! Bobby tells you what you want to hear. I was moving house and asked how long the waiting time was for getting a new central heating system installed and he said it was a week. When I went to book my installation he said it was 3 weeks but they would send 2 engineers out to me. A few days before my installation they rearranged the appointment which I understand can happen. The next time came and it has to be rearranged again and only 1 engineer turned up not 2. So then the day comes for my installation the third time and they say my engineer isn't coming AGAIN! He then turned up the next day and Wednesday but not the Thursday. I was extremely annoyed at the point because I had dangerous tools in the kitchen, I have pets and a young child so this was hazardous. I am liasing with trading standards regarding this as they have also left bricks from the old night storage heaters outside my property and loads of cardboard packaging for the new heaters and boiler and no one will come pick it up even though they promise to remove everything from your home. I can't believe how awful the service has been. After a long few emails complaining to them they offered a 50 pound good will gesture off my account from a 5 grand installation!!!! Absolutely ridiculous they don't care about providing good customer service they just take your money and ignore you when there's a problem.

Very simple process easy to complete

Very simple process easy to complete. I was kept informed of what was happening. I knew who my engineer was which was Mike what a cracking guy place was spotless wouldn't even know he had been. Every care taken and all my pipework tidied up. Compared to other prices they are great value and excellent service.
