Poor Customer Service / Unsatisfactory Result
I ordered a set of prints and frames from Bombinate and when I received them I noticed that one of the frames was cracked badly. I contacted their customer services immediately and was asked to provide evidence of this, which I did so they started a case.
A series of automatic, generic updates followed for days where I wasn't given a proper answer other than they were contacting the supplier and would give me an update soon.
During this time I was told that I would also have to package and return the broken frame, which felt like a laborious effort given that this was Bombinate's fault. Added to the continuously repetitive updates with no substance, and their ask for evidence, clearly showed that Bombinante does not put their customer first.
After putting this to them, they chose to refund the frame and told me to do with the broken one as I please. I never asked for a refund, nor was I interested in keeping a broken frame. I simply wanted the product I ordered. I didn't get that.
This is a shame, because I like the ethos they communicate through their website, but unfortunately the customer service and attention does not match the price tag they charge for their products. I was thinking of ordering some furniture pieces through them, but have been put off by this experience.

Deluxe robe
I had been on the hunt for a quality robe for a while, I was specific about the colour I wanted too (forest green), so when I saw Bombinate's 'Green bathrobe' I knew I had to get it.
Had never bought anything from this brand before and their actual website didn't seem to have any reviews to go on so I relied on google.
No regrets with this purchase!! Promptly dispatched, amazingly packaged and the quality is superb (definitely feels deluxe and heavy duty in a great way). The sizing is true, and I know this will last me ages :)

What can I say? Great customer service, obsessed with the items they bring, and only wish I have the means to buy everything they offer. Yes the items are bit expensive, but the story behind every artisanal "artist" they work with, and the material and quality of the items they offer are worth it. :) (plus there's always sales happening so keep an eye out!)

Received the wrong product but effective customer service
This is very unfortunate and deeply disappointing. This is the first time I spend +600€ on my first purchase on a website. Ten days of delivery and this price for receiving the wrong product (black instead of dark brown color). My vacations are ruined...
I don't recommend this website since I have no solutions. I am waiting urgently a solution before the 28th november.

Horrific return process
Horrific return process. I've requested a return over a week ago, called up 3 times and still have not received the return label or even an address to send my return to. Nice stuff, but beware that you might not be able to return anything if it doesn't fit.

Three weeks+, no comms, and still waiting
I placed an order on Bombinate 20 Oct, with anticipated delivery of 3-9 Nov. Buying a British brand and being in the UK (London) I did think this was a long lead time but went with as was best price I could find for the product. Fast forward to 8 November, order under my profile on the site says still pending (of course the money was taken straight away). Having spoken to online help, it's still processing... no tracking option, no comms to say it would be late. Doubt I would have heard if I hadn't chased. Have offered 10% off next order but very unlikely to use Bombinate again so no much use
