Think before you purchase from them - trustworthiness and honesty aren't a thing to them

TLDR. I have purchased two sofas from this company and were messaged about the delivery dates. It turned out both are cancelled without notifying me at all after I chased them several times on phones and emails. They first explained to me the sofa was lost in transit by the delivery company, after a moment they told me it was due to fabric colour choice out of stock by the supplier.
Having checked out with both delivery company and supplier brand directly, I found out it was Bombinate cancelled the order. What I lost - time chasing them up, discount I had when I made the order, a day wasted at home waiting for a cancelled order out of the blue. This is the worst customer experience I had, I see lies all around.

Follow up: They came up with giving credit as a compensation but they got the amount wrong as what we agreed. So many technical issue. I am still waiting to hear back from them desperately.
Karen - your team started not taking any phone calls from me today, what is going on?

Final update - they have provided a credit as a compensation. this is fair enough

I purchased a pair of beautiful…

I purchased a pair of beautiful Scarosso shoes. They arrived promptly. Only due to my odd shaped feet, I had to send them back. Not only was the return process swift, I was kept updated throughout. Jessica Michele showed excellent customer service. I’ll be using Bombinate again, without a doubt. I didn’t get the shoes, but received great service.

After buying two beautiful contemporary chairs I waited some time for delivery. The company did give me a discount due to the delay and refunded import charges from FedEx. As a company, there is good follow up and an eagerness to put right any problems.

Great curation

Awful customer service and POOR quality product

I purchased a table from Bombinate. Within 1-2 hours I sent an email asking to have the table order cancelled. I am in the process of renovating a home and retailers are incredibly prompt in their communications - with the exception of Bombinate.
I followed up twice in one week and was asked to stop following up and that they would get back to me. Long story short - they eventually confirmed cancellation. Weeks later, after I followed up on the refund - the table arrived anyway. I was asked to arrange return (of a 50 kilo package amid a renovation project!) myself.
I decided to keep the table to avoid the hassle.
However, I now regret this as: the table is NOT of the quality promised. It scratches INCREDIBLY easily - move a plate and you have a deep scratch in the surface. The table is by Woodman - Oak/Blue Arrow.
In short: terrible customer service and the quality is not as advertised.

Fast service.

I ordered three items from Bombinate, all those were delivered in time & well packaged.

I had some issues with one of my ordered chairs, pieces were missing & the stool was somehow waggely, not really even on the floor. Texting & asked the custumer service for support, & must say, this one is absolute great & responding very fast.
I got the missing parts delivered immediately & held them three days after texting the support in my hands. And also for the waggely chair i got videos from the brand itself in a day & when it didn‘t work out i got unexpectedly a package with marerial (as i thought i had to order extra material on my own) to fix it with a personalized note from the brand.

Everything is good now, the products are great & the customer support as well. Recommend & will order again.

Great Customer Service

Great Customer Service, even better products.
Yet shipping is still a little mess. However it's not an Amazon-like shop, so I'm totally happy with the service!

We bought a Sternzeit chair from Bombinate. The chair was just what we wanted. We were charged £39 import duties as the chair was supplied from Germany and Bombinate promptly refunded us this charge - excellent service in the face of the idiocy of Brexit!

Great products, great service

Love the idea of Bombinate. Perfectly curated niche brands to give you something special and unique. Anyway, my trainers are brilliant. Superb quality. There was an issue with them being held up in customs so I emailed Bombinate in hope they could do something. Wasn't expecting a reply for a few days - but they actually called me almost straight away. Great customer service, very efficient. Will certainly use them again.

I had a few troubles ordering because of technical problems. I had the best support from Bombinate. Patricia, to name her, was able to help me with my order and gave me the best online service you can hope for.

Great service, fantastic products

The armchair I purchased was everything I hoped for and more. The customer service throughout the process was informative and fast. Because I am based in the UK and we decided leaving the EU was a good idea, I had to pay £55 in import tax. Bombinate promptly refunded this as they originally said they would. A great service all round.

Took delivery of our 2 pieces of furniture and we are very pleased with the quality of the pieces. The items are exactly as described on the website and the colour, just as importantly is what we expected.
