Today I went to Boots Opticians in Newton Abbot town centre with a suspected detached retina.
I received a wonderful service from Satnam and Holly so, a big thank you to both.
I would recommend this Opticians to everyone.

Tavistock Opticians’s are the best opticians I have been to From when you walk in the door have your eyes tested by Natasha who is spot on with the test to lovely James who fitted my glasses to Dana and lovely ladies who work there are brilliant always cheerful and very helpful I would definitely recommend Tavistock Boots are the best . Some opticians make you feel uncomfortable when you need adjustment but not there . They are like a little family 10 out of 10 x

The staff were very helpful at my appointment taking the tests before my appointment and explaining everything to me
Sunny helped me organise the glasses once I had chosen the pair I wanted, he made sure they fitted alright and because they are bifocals that the lenses would be in the right place.
Sunny was also helpful in ensuring I got the discount I was entitled to because I am over 60.
I went back 2 weeks later as my glasses were sliding down my nose and again Sunny was able to help me.
I also purchased a second pair of bifocal sunglasses as Boots are offering a discount on a second pair.
I would definitely recommend the team at Boots opticians Livingston and I thank them for their excellent service

My actual test was with an absolutely lovely woman went and got new glasses which were the exact same frames and booked an appointment to collect, later found out that appointment was never booked and got lucky when we found to see if my glasses had arrived, when we went to collect them later that day I immediately knew something was wrong but we were dismissed as it being my eyes needing adjusting, I've had glasses since I was about 7, I know the difference and a few days later we realised they were completely wonky, went back in was originally brushed off but they fixed them after much adjusting and the next day I've noticed the hinge is popping so the arms moving. For the amount of money I paid the quality is awful

Rob the Optometrist at Boots Optician, Warminster exceeded my expectation. I have seen many opticians in the past but he was the most knowledgeable concerning my corneal graft and gave my eyes a thorough test regarding new glasses. Also, his colleague, Sarah, gave us great service concerning purchasing my new glasses. I highly recommend Boots Optician as you won't be disappointed.

I like this store. The optician is amazing and thorough. I brought back a previous pair of sunglasses that needed replacing after cataract surgery. I paid £102 for the lenses to be swapped out. As a new pair was £210. A week and a bit passed. I was called, thinking everything was done and to arrange a fitting. No. It was to say they wanted more money £110 or £130, all because they changed lense supplier. The price was agreed. The agreement was made. Contractually they should have honoured the price. Trust broken. Customer loyalty destroyed. How many other customers have they done this to?
Wrong, is an understatement. Not a great way to deal with contracts made and agreed to.
I spent my money elsewhere.
I suggest you do the same, if they mess you about too.

I have not had any good experience with Boots optician at Solihull. They were not able to manufacture Varifocals, I had to go back-and-forth for several months wasting my time and eventually had to have a refund. I was made to feel as if there was something wrong with me rather than their ability to make the correct lens. As I had eye test with them, I went ahead with simple reading glasses. One of them was delivered okay and the other had a big scratch on the frame so I had to re-order and currently I am wasting my time repeatedly calling Boots Opticians to see if reorder has been delivered to no avail as nobody picks up the phone so I’m not sure if they are ready to be picked up or when they will be. overall v poor experience for an expensive service that is not meeting standards of service or quality.

My new specs. I get crossed eyed Doubled graded from the one I am using at present. Went for a check to get an extra pair. I was told to get used to it. Which I disagree. It makes me feel dizzy.
I felt horrid with the lady in charge (Cornwall St. Plymouth) yesterday she was trying to phone the other opticians to find out about my personal records. This is not acceptable bridge of confidentiality. I felt degraded with her action. Why would she do that! Not happy at all.

The optometrist I saw, Lara, in Romsey, conducted her examinations in a refreshingly light, cheerful and humorous manner. She is clearly totally competent and her high level of interpersonal skill means she easily gauges and adopts the right manner to explain issues to each client. I came away with confidence about the way ahead for my eyesight and reassured by the clarity and fullness of her explanations.

I had a really positive experience at Boots Opticians Meadowhall during my recent contact lens check. Anna was absolutely brilliant — professional, friendly, and very thorough throughout the appointment. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I was comfortable with my lenses, answering all my questions without rushing.
It’s reassuring to have such attentive and knowledgeable service, especially when it comes to eye care. Thank you, Anna, for making the whole experience smooth and pleasant!

I went to boots opticians in St Albans to see if I could have my glasses repaired. I was met by Maria who was incredibly helpful and said she could sort it out straight away. Within 5 minutes my glasses were fixed. I was incredibly grateful and wanted to thank Maria for being so kind and friendly and giving such brilliant service.

I had an excellent experience at Boots Opticians in St. Paul’s. I was assisted by Bhik, Aybuke, and Inade (the optometrist), and I couldn’t be more grateful for their care and professionalism.
As someone who has glaucoma, I needed to have my eye pressure checked, and they handled everything with great attention and expertise. They were incredibly kind, respectful, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process.
They took the time to explain everything clearly and gave me valuable guidance, which is very important for managing my condition. Their support truly made a difference in my care.
I highly recommend this team to anyone looking for professional and compassionate eye care.
