They advertise new and graded appliances. We bought an induction hob and specifically asked if it was new - answer YES
Took it home, electrician fitted it and one ring didn't work. Phoned Borshch - not really interested and told to phone Hotpoint.
Eventually got through, had an engineer out, went for the repair option as we didn't want to pay another electrician. But the control unit not the fault, it was the coil. Which the engineer had never seen before! Hotpoint said the retailer would swap it including fixing.
Phoned Borshch - bring it in.
Went in with the magic code sent by Hotpoint and they didn't beleive me but phoned Hotpoint and waited on the phone.....
What should have been a simple refund that they had been prewarned took over 40 minutes

Paul I am sorry but I have to disagree we are a family business which has been trading for over 40 years and customer service is something we pride ourselves on, please see our reviews.
Our sales assistance was with you over an hour helping you, it was pointed out it was graded and came with a manufactures guarantee as per your receipt.
As a business we have procedures to follow with returns it was never the case we did not believe you.
I am very sorry you felt this way and hope that you found what you were after.

Superb service easy to order pretty much straight forward, Communication was first class too made contact for you to check item make sure your happy with it and delivery arranged all within a couple of days, Item arrived exactly as expected delivery guys was very pleasant very helpful, I would definitely recommend purchasing from here

Excellent service from BORSHCH Erdington store
Excellent service from Jamie, Phil and staff. Very helpful, knowledgeable and so nice to customers. My wife and l would have no reservations in recommending BORSHCH store in Erdington for all gas and electrical white goods. Go see for yourselves.

Tumble dryer
I haven’t received the appliance yet. Not particularly cheap bearing in mind it’s a graded appliance and therefore possibly not perfect .I didn't realise what graded meant or I probably wouldn’t have purchased it (this was my fault not Borshch.
I don’t know what delivery company is used but paid £40 for delivery but have to wait until they are in my area for delivery .

We specialise in new graded appliances which is how we are able to sell at such discounted prices. we have 3 stores based around the midlands and we cover all local deliveries with our own drivers but distance deliveries are done by a third party courier.

The personal touch. Being able to ask questions, get answers and arrange delivery to suit my needs. All the staff I have dealt with from the initial inquiry to the final delivery have been so helpful and polite. I even had one member of staff sort out the warranty online for me.
