Just bought some

Just bought some of the Boundery light bulbs for my grandparents. They're always complaining about their power going out. Since they are getting older in age I think these will be perfect for them. Hope they really come in handy.

Scammed Ordered 4 lights from Boundery November…

Ordered 4 lights from Boundery November 30th. December 17th Boundery advised my ordered shipped and provided a DHL tracking number. DHL has advised me the tracking number provided by Boundery does not exist!!
Repeated emails to Boundery, still no answers for where or when regarding this order I paid this company. SCAM!!!

Product failed

I saw the ad for light bulbs that can work during a power failure, good idea I thought. I ordered and received the 8 bulb package promptly. I planned to use 4 and gift the other 4. I opened two of the bulb and put them in lamps to charge. The next day I tested them by pulling the plug on the lamp to simulate a power failure....nothing.
I tried it with lamp switch on and lamp switch off. NO Then I tried with the 2nd bulb, same result. So I switched to a different lamp, same results. I contacted Boundery for a return of product and refund. Well I have given up, they don't reply, the emails are rejected as undeliverable. After numerous attempts I receieved a reply from Boundary Support with directions on how to get a refund, I responded and then nothing despite repeated attempts. Then another reply with more instructions, I replied to this email many times, nothing. Then another reply with instructions, I replied repeatedly ... nothing. This business is a joke, stay away !

Please accept our sincere apologies for the negative experience you had. We'd like to resolve this for you as quickly as possible.

Regarding the lights, due to the mechanical design of lamps, the Emergency Bulbs are designed to work in single-lamp/light sockets and not multi-lamp fixtures. It's possible that this could be the reason the light did not immediately turned on (if this is not the case, the bulb does sound as if it were defective or not fully charged; it is very unusual for a single bulb to not function properly, let alone multiple bulbs). One way to test this is by using the included bulb-cap to verify if the light is working properly after pressing the on/off button.

Regarding the emails, most messages are responded to within 12-24 hours so it is possible that some replies are going into a spam/junkmail folder. I do show that we emailed to offer a replacement delivery but the response message from you came back blank.

As the replies seem to not be making it to your email, please give us a call at 1-877-264-4787 (we're available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!) and we'll be happy to assist with either the replacement or a refund.

Not delivered - no refund or lights...

Warning! I ordered 8 lights, they were never delivered and when I contacted the company they said it is out of their hands once it leaves their warehouse. They will not provide new lights or a refund. What a scam - I see this as a common issue below.
Do not order lights from this company!

Response provided is insufficient - the address provided is a house. Canada Post delivers to a community mailbox to which I never received the shipped product. I did follow up with the carrier who is not able to find the product. I am not paying for another order at a 'discounted rate' when I did not receive the product I already paid for.

All deliveries are shipped to the address provided at checkout. In the event of a delivery failure (such as damaged or lost by the delivery carrier) we are happy to provide a full refund or replacement to ensure that you're receiving the product that you ordered.

I've looked into your order and show that it was delivered to the address provided without any issues. In this case, we do ask that you reach out to the delivery carrier directly. At checkout, we do offer an optional insurance (which is helpful for apartments or if you won't be home to receive it for several days) which covers against theft after delivery.

Please reach out to us and we will be happy to assist in processing a replacement order at a discounted rate if you choose to re-order. In either case, we do highly suggest having it shipped to an address that you will be at to receive the order at the time of delivery.

We have had a couple power outages…

We have had a couple power outages since installing these bulbs. They came on right away and stayed bright! Well worth the money.

Worst Product and Worst Customer Service I Have Ever Experienced

I purchased LUMN8 LED lights from Boundery (two packages of four lights each) based on their "30-day Complete Satisfaction Guarantee". Out of the box, only 7 of the 8 lights worked. I used all brand-new, top-rated Energizer batteries, and the working lights looked very cool, but one by one they all died within a couple of hours. When I tried to return the defective product, the company charged me a $7.50 "restocking fee" (seriously? for a product that does not work?) and I had to pay the return shipping as well. Extremely disappointed. I would never purchase another LUMN8 product and would CERTAINLY never buy anything from Boundery again.

I spent 178.00 dollars

I spent 178.00 dollars. Give the wrong order. I had 5 pairs same items. The EFX LED LIGHTS has remote every sets. The efx led lights using the batteries. It has short days using. The remotes each sets efx led lights not making sense. I make my self add number every remotely not to confuse which to use it. I did considered to had wait the Holiday. When I find out this happened. I did called they call back but, not enough make things corrected.

I would give a zero if it was possible!!! Ordered this product as a gift, address was verified and correct. Never received the product because I did not purchase the “delivery protection plan” what a scam!!! Don’t do it, don’t order from this company.

These have NOT worked for me

These have NOT worked for me! I bought several to give to Family for Christmas and a couple for myself and I called a couple of weeks ago asking why it wasn’t working as I’ve had it in a lamp for many hours and it still didn’t work when the power went out. So then I put it in the ceiling instead of a lamp and still doesn't work. Now today I sit here in the dark when the electricity is out all day and into the night and this crap item still doesn’t work. I’ve demanded a refund and to send back all of this crap and I’m waiting for a response.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE SPAMMERS

I never ever visited this web site or subcribed to their mailing list but for the past four or five months I receive at least one marketing email from them every single day. A web site that sends out spam emails is not to be trusted especially a web site that spams so often. I would not trust the unsubcribe link at the bottom of the emails because when I hover my mouse over it, a strange URL appears.

Deceptive Practices

I am nervous after reading these reviews. My sister sent the link to me, and they have great reviews on their website. But I don't even have a confirmation yet. More over, after they ask if you are interested in a second option at a lower rate, if you say yes, they just add to your total and submit it without giving you the option to see what they are dong. I wanted to send the second order to a different address, and I wouldn't have ordered 14 bulbs for myself. But there is no second review option and no option to cancel or to speak with anyone. Their phone number does not work for Canadians. So unless they allow me to modify my order and send a confirmation, I am done with this company and I will publicize their practices on every review website.

Save your money

I ordered some small outdoor lights from this company about two months ago by mistake. They sent an email asking if I wanted to complete a partial order form. I did not, so did not respond. But they completed the form for me! Weeks later, not a hint of any product being sent. Reviews of this company are abysmal so I have written off the loss. DO NOT order from this company. Sorry to say, it appears to be a scam.

If I could give them ZERO stars I…

If I could give them ZERO stars I would. Very poor customer service. They took our money and only shipped a partial order. Many emails and phone calls with different excuses each time...it did ship...it must have got lost...we’ll send a replacement...actually it did not ship it was a ‘split delivery’...sorry we did not ship it...we’ve ran out of stock so we’ve refunded you (which they haven’t)!!! Stay well clear.

UPDATE - Boundery contacted me via TrustPilot after reading my one star review - they apologised which is nice...but, they also said they have refunded my money over 30 days ago. Again, I repeat, they have given me a 'credit note', not a refund.

This refund was processed 2 days after purchase and should have been returned to your original payment method within 3-5 business days.

We suggest to review your billing statement to ensure that the credit was processed - I do show that this credit was successfully completed on our end over 30 days ago.

Very Poor Quality Product

Purchased 8 battery powered led lights in May as they were advertised as "water-proof" and suitable for outside use - indeed the advertisement showed them in pictures in a garden and in water. Despite being screwed shut, they internal led lights have become rusted and discoloured after less than 6 months sitting on a fence. Contacted the company, they state they only provide replacements for 60 days unless you purchase a warranty! It does bring into question the quality of the product, particularly for outdoor use, if the company will only stand by it for 60 days! Very disappointing and I would suggest in contravention of UK consumer rights! Without prejudice.

I wasn't able to locate your order since only a first name was provided, but it sounds like you may be referring to our EFX LED Lights. These lights are waterproof and can be submerged under water (such as in a pool or in rainy environments) with no issues under normal usage. Because these lights feature user-replaceable batteries, it's important that the lights are fully closed in order to prevent moisture from entering the lights (which can damage them). When screwed together tightly, the lights do not leak or allow moisture to enter.

We do offer a standard guarantee on all of our purchases; this allows for a period of time to test the products to ensure they meet your needs and your expectations. If for any reason you are not fully satisfied within that time, we are happy to help with processing a return for them.

In addition to the guarantee, we offer a Lifetime Warranty at checkout. This covers all items in your order, in the event that they become damaged over the years and allows you to receive a replacement. We do design all of our products to last and perform at the highest level for many years to come, but due to the nature of these products (being submerged in water, in gardens and attached to outdoor walls) we offer this lifetime warranty in the event that they become damaged over time.
