Hi Jayne, balloons by nature are quite fragile and this can happen. Whenever there is an issue we will always try to resolve it and in this instance we refunded your damaged balloon when the team got back to work on Monday.
It is to be noted that the balloons were left inside the box and not opened on arrival, and the photo shows a balloon which is mostly inflated and then immediately deflated the following day. This does suggest that it was damaged on opening as it would have deflated completely in the the time it was in the box.
Nevertheless, we did refund the damaged balloon and have dealt with your complaint.

We want all our customers to be really happy with their balloons. Unfortunately, we are left to trust DPD to deliver the box the way it leaves us, and sometimes that isn’t the case.
Your refund may take up to 10 working days, depending on the payment method used. We hope the recipient still had a great birthday and was able to enjoy the balloons.

Unfortunately though I am very dissatisfied with the service. I specifically emailed requesting to change the date of delivery for my order. I received an email back saying my change of date had been confirmed. However, the delivery still arrived on the initial date.
This was for my nieces first birthday. They were not home that weekend which is why I asked for the delivery to be changed. The balloons were therefore left outside and not received by her till three days later. This did ruin the overall point of the gift. I have gone away for a few months and the point of the order was a suprise for her so we could all call and I could have that moment with her. This was completely ruined by the wrong delivery date.
The balloons were fine and as shown on the website but considering it’s a gifting website, I would expect you to understand the importance of the date items are delivered on. I ordered well in advance and asked for confirmation that me changing the delivery date was fine, which I was told it was. Clearly this wasn’t conveyed.
The company has kindly reached out and resolved all Issues however.
