Bitterly disappointed, unable to access free trial or customer service.
Having used Brightpay for years and been very happy with it, when I was looking for MTD book keeping software I decided to give Bright Books a try . . . nothing is simple . . . my trial never arrived and I feel fit to strangle the ruddy "Bot" which kept telling me to go to the Product screen which remained blank with no opportunity to add anything. I have wasted 2 days trying to get access to this product, I have made numerous phone calls and there appears to be no one on any of the help numbers. Eventually someone called me back, took details and promised that I would get an email back that morning . . . still waiting. If this is the level of support I will not be wasting any more time on the product.

Joel has amazing customer service skills, he listened had patience. checked in regularly. Communication skills were brilliant, made the conversations relatable so we didn't just feel like we were talking to a sales person. He understood our business and what we were aiming to achieve, we did not feel like a number. in short we felt looked after. Thank you

Most helpful software company ever - ?
Bright have been the most helpful, engaged company we have dealt with - and we deal with a lot. Nevdish Hir has gone above and beyond despite our frequent attempts to derail the implementation process.
I can't speak too highly of Bright or (especially) of Nevdish, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bright to other accountants.

Firstly I didn't have to wait too long for the phone to be answered, which is unusual these days.
I then spoke to Sarah about my query who was really helpful, polite and friendly. She also emailed me straight after the call with all the information I required. I was pleased with the excellent service would definitely recommend Brightpay

Corrupt File
To be fair - this is the first problem I've encountered with BrightPay after MANY years of use. File got corrupted and I had to send it off to Brightpay. Took a few days but I got the file sent back fixed and it worked perfectly. Thanks to Ciaran and all involved.

For many years BrightPay used to be great....
Having used and loved BrightPay for many years, and recommended it to many charities who now use it, I sadly can't recommend it any longer.
Firstly, the company keeps increasing the price of the software.
But secondly, when the software has issues, the customer support isn't just bad....it's really bad!
When we set up BrightPay Cloud over 3 months ago, due to the super unclear import process for adding prior financial years, we ended up with duplicates of each of our payroll clients. Having tried emailing support, I resorted to a 30 min phone queue to speak to a human....who was able to delete the duplicates.
Sadly, this wasn't the end of the issue, because the deleted clients still show up in the employees' portal, and 3 months later, and 10 emails and several phone calls later, BrightPay are no nearer to fixing the issue.
For me, if BrightPay was reliable, I'd probably pay the price for it, but being expensive with terrible customer support, we'll be switching to another payroll software provider at the end of this tax year.

It was difficult to get into contact with a customer advisor, the lines were closed even though it was during office hours ( 10am ), I had an email reply 24 hours later but then they didnt respond back to me after that, how ever after emailing with Eoghan O'Brien I was very satisfied, they explained everything and answered a lot of questions I had.

Constant connection problems
Constant connection problems. Never sorted out as works for a while remotely and then stops me working at the weekend when there is no support. This is causing me real issues with clients and getting work done.

I only wish I had a direct dial for you so any time I have support queries I could get through to you.
10 out of 10 for knowledge, customer service and general likeability.
I definitely think you should be recognised as awesome for your efforts, and I really think there is much more merit in sending support guys to Accountex rather than just the sales guys, as the visitors are looking to get more insight about the software not just the pricing.
