Both was professional, efficient, and always available to answer our questions—no matter how small.

The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and made things easier for me as I live 450 miles away from the estate I was dealing with. Always responded to phone calls quickly, and gave me personal appointments when I was in the area.

Struggled to get a hold of my solicitor on numerous occasions. E-mails not being answered, unavailability when calling them on the phone, and numerous mistakes made on the way to the purchase of my property. Official documents even show the wrong postcode for the property I bought, an issue I had not found out about until my neighbors told me about it.
Furthermore, there seemed to be an underlying assumption that I, as a buyer, would know about these processes and what to do... then what the hell am I paying a solicitor for? I am a first time buyer and I need guidance at every step. They seemed annoyed every time I inquired about something, and it made me reluctant to contact them futher. The only thing that kept me with them is their lower prices compared to the others.
The builder and their solicitor also complained to us directly about our solicitor slowing down the process dramatically for supposedly "waiting for answers from their solicitor". Answers to questions they had never received in the first place.
