Just got 2 so called Sion coolers that cost $238. They are cheap Chinese knock offs of poor quality worth about $10 if that. I've been ripped off big style. DONT touch this firm with a barge pole unless you want to lose hard earned cash.

If you are thinking of buying from buy tech don't, what you buy if you are lucky it will work but there is a very good chance it won't the after sales service is rubbish you will not here from them. Go to shop on the High Street you can take it back next day

As per many 'posters' re this company, didn't see the Trustpilot reviews until after buying the small heater (in current advert it's called a Valty heater, but others refer to it as an Orbis. Something dodgy with buy-tech changing the name ?!). Received heater today. Ran it for an hour in my dining room (much smaller than the pics in the advert). My room about 90 sq. feet. After an hour the room thermometer had risen about half a degree (from a start at 12 deg.) ! Also, supposedly very quiet heater fan nosie had started to give me ear-ache (quieter than an old fashioned fan,heater but not that much). Item is virtualy useless. In view of other reviews describing appalling experience at attempts to get a refund, I'll put this down to an expensive learning experience. Stress of trying to get a refund and maybe failing completely + costs of return to God knows where minimising any financial recompense (if I got £s back at all !), not worth the danger to my blood-pressure ! Proved to myself (in relation to advert claims) the old adage that 'if it seems to good to be true, it almsot certainly is'. Seems my 75 years on this planet haven't taught me much ! I should have, as per others, try and remember to check out Trust Pilot before venturing down this internet route in future. Addendum : 'Minus 5*' was being too generous ! After my trial run of the heater my whole house was permeated with a foul smell. Even an Airwick neutralising spray didn't clear it and it was still lingering the next morning. Went for a brisk four mile walk in the a.m. and half way through I could taste the revolting after-taste relating to the heater's smell. Goodness knows what Chinese filth I have taken into my lungs from this appalling contraption !!! (I see from checking my order confirmation form that the heater is listed as an 'Orbis' on it, despite the website showing the 'Valty' name. ).

I am another person taken in with this company paid for 2 heaters. Tracking number not in use. No answer to e-mails 1 telephone number not in use another just pick up and put down.
I will never buy on line again. Something should be done about this company. Have learned a hard lesson.

I too am a victim of this company. Paid for my product but never arrived. Tracking has my product at a distribution hub since 18th January. Customer service just replied to my first email querying it by just sending me another link to the tracking. Since then they have ignored my emails. Avoid them at all cost.

After reading these reviews I sent an email asking for a refund of my order paid for by credit card that I had placed earlier the same day. My money was returned straight away followed by an email from their Customer Support Executive apologising for the inconvenience..

If only it were possible to give no stars...

I'm sad to say I have joined the many disappointed shoppers who have fallen foul of buy-tech. The products are sub-par and when approached for a refund they are nowhere to be found. I've never felt particularly compelled to write a review like this before but people need to be warned. AVOID at all costs.

DREADFUL! AVOID!

Ordered Orbis heaters 'from UK'. Invoice states 'Orbis Fan Heaters'. Cheap counterfeit rubbish arrived in battered boxes from China. Payment went to Spain! They offered 25% refund, then ignored all of my follow up emails. Luckily, I paid by credit card, so my bank is now involved in dealing with the fraud and refunding my money.

Wanted to repeat much of what has been said. Bought heater. Sent extremely cheap and nasty Chinese rubbish. It gave off hardly any heat and then stopped working altogether after about 15mins. Can't advise strongly enough.... This is a SCAM. DO NOT BUY! We feel like someone has literally robbed us. Do not get taken in.

I recently purchased an orbis heater from this company. The website they are using appeared genuine with trust pilot reviews !!! Now I have realised that this is clearly a fake website. When the heater finally arrived in the box which was badly damaged and without paperwork. It’s a cheap replica that has been made in China and shipped from Tenerife. This company needs fully investigating and should be closed down. Oh and the actual heater is dangerous to use. It’s noisy and smells like something is burning. God I wish I saw these reviews about the company before I purchased this over priced tat !!!

I ordered and paid for a wi-fi booster from this Company after seeing it highly rated on google. However the item has not been delivered. I have contacted them by email and can not any rely as the where abouts of my order ???

Looks like i've just got ripped off by them. Sent e-mails about a watch I paid for but never got. No replies at all. No phone number, based in Tenerife. Only way to contact them is by e-mail, which they ignore. Total CON!!!

Awful company, complete rip off, do not use. I purchased a heater through them, the money was taken from my bank account but the item never arrived. I have sent two emails chasing this up and I have received no response. There is no phone number to contact them on. Avoid.

I bought a pair of wireless AirPots just before the black Friday, it was absolutely rubbish, it fell apart after few weeks. Do not buy anything from this company. Obviously they are just crooks.

i had 2 portable heaters from bytech i opened package to find 2 opened dirty taty boxes ripped lids no paperwork with the authorisation number to return the rubbish they are blocking my emails how can this company work and treat people like this i am going to take this up with pay pal and birmingham trading standers

I purchased three Orbis Heaters which were received in a plastic bubble wrap bag. The bottoms of the boxes, which contained the heaters, had burst open during transit, thus allowing the contents of each box to partially spill out into the transit bag. Also, the three pin plug on each heater can be rotated 180 degrees, but the rotating plugs are very easy to move which in my opinion could be dangerous when in use and consider it to be a Health and Safety issue. I will return the three heaters when I get the UK return address BUYTEC RETURNS, PO Box 3547, Barnet, Hertfordshire, EN5 9NT confirmed by email and I have also requested a full refund. It will be interesting to see what happens next, if anything judging by other reviews.

Do not buy from this company if your item is faulty or not fit for purpose there is no invoice receipt or returns label if you email them they don’t reply you have been warned

Bought 2 fit to go’s for Christmas presents, absolute rubbish and customer service in terms of a refund as useful as a chocolate teapot, complete Facebook scam, avoid and save your money.

Do not buy anything from this company. It’s a scum. I received the T10 cooler and it looks unlike what I ordered. It looks like a cheap plastic toy. The water tank is dirty and the flap doesn’t close tight and the flap of the Control panel does not close tight. There are scratches on top of the control panel. The filter ID made of cheap paper.
I have attached photos for them to review and to respond to me as soon as possible, but I am still waiting for their response.
