i have spent over 45mins dealing with this shambolic company, three times we struggled to get payment over to them. After a BACS payment they eventually gave me a bank account number to pay to

i never recieved a proper invoice and a proper advice that you wouldnt recieve any coins for a minium of 24hours after your purchase...

that said they then phoned me 20 mins later to say the bank account that i had paid into had been frozen, and that i was to run around and get my bank to stop payments

Cen who was the contact there also gigled wheni asked was he joking afet i just transfered £10000... he thought it was quite funny, i asked to speak to a manager as to why he had given me the wrong account number

shambolic and unprofessional - do not believ the reviews and certainly do not pay any money

if i could give a zero star that is what they would be worthy of

AVOID at all costs ...... use a decent broker

Thought I’d dip my toe in the water with £1000 on the Verge. Spoke to TJ and he helped me through the process of setting up my wallet. The fees are a little high but they help you with you investment and give you far more info and advice than an exchange.

I dealt with Scott who was really helpful and recommended me to invest in stellar lumens. I signed up to BVC in 1 minute and I was immediately called by an agent who was able to help me through the process. I was struggling to choose between all the different cryptos and felt quite overwhelmed to be honest and unsure where to invest my money. After speaking with Scott I went for stellar and I received my coins 1 hour after the invoice was paid. I think this is a good option for beginners or people who cant be bothered to go through an exchange and wait 2 weeks to get verified. Also, you are able to buy more coins than you would in other exchanges where there are limits on purchases. Thanks again!

Absolutely dodgy company, BEWARE, looks like a scam site with hyper inflated prices and fake reviews. Should be on Rip Off Britain!!!!!!

My experience with BVC is excellent. Scott gave me the confidence as a novice from assisting from the start, setting up my wallet to completion. I can’t recommend them enough very professional and would highly recommend BVC.

Wanted to buy some hard to access alt coins, BVC had me a wallet set up and my coins over by the end of the business day, I paid around 20-30% Ontop which is fair because of how hard they are to get normally. Now to wait and see how they do!

Recently purchased Ripple, Cardano and Ethereum, sold at an extremely fair price compared with market knowledge and exit route, will be back for more.

Seriously guys, this lot are scammers!

I have sent them 10,000GBP and they are trying to fob me off with a really low number of coins! They put APPROX on their invoice and then supposedly buy at really elevated prices.

The only good that has come out of this is now I have discovered BITPANDA, the prices are real, you know exactly what you need to pay, none of this nonsense of sending money and then hoping for a price! The rates on BITPANDA are really low, I have just this moment purchased RIPPLE, buy price 1.15€ and sell price 1.09€, that is the price that is showing on COINGECKO too!

This lot told me that COINGECKO only show educational prices and that they are not correct! This lot charge 30-35% commission, they told me that this was the markup from the exchanges.

ALL LIES!

If you want to learn from others mistakes and misfortunes then please stay away from these scammers/rip off merchants!

Why would you need to deal over the phone?, in the modern age everything is done by computer and you can execute a deal immediately rather than being held at the mercy of these scammers.

Why do you need to pay 30-35% commission, what added extra do these people offer?

Do what you want, but, remember that there are more professional and modern brokers out there.

PS, I'm convinced that the 5 star reviews are either paid for or mates! Seriously how anyone can think that paying way over the odds and getting ripped off is a good thing is beyond me.

I have already alerted my bank, HSBC (their bank), trading standards and Action Fraud.

This is an unregulated industry and you can get seriously burnt by these tricksters.

Look elsewhere, if language is an issue then don’t worry, all websites are in various languages nowadays.

Exchange rate scam, they quote in gbp to trick you into buying a USD quoted asset... You lose 50% straight away on your 'investment'

I exchanged many email with them about purchasing Ether.
broker said price will be Kraken + 3%
In invoice already said price will be based of 5 exchange average plus commission - don't say how much...

The price in invoice was 50% higher the market price!!!

they are trying to fish out people who know nothing exchange rates etc...
Probably I wouldn't even get the ether they promised.

Great company, highly recommend to anybody looking to get involved in the cryptocurrency market,

After reading some of the reviews on here it is clear there are some highly uneducated people who do not understand the Cryptocurrency market. It is volatile and coins are exchanged over the counter, this means it is impossible to lock the coins in at any price, as an astute investor myself I read the disclaimer and they clearly explain this on the invoice when they send it to you, I have averaged 133% a month totaling 1600% profit with what I have bought from BVC over the last 6 months. Investors should educate themselves before investing and always read the disclaimer so you understand what you are getting into.

When i first got involved with buy virtual currency i didn't have a good experience and the customer care wasn't that great i was dealing with a guy called Shane (who isn't a part of it anymore). Since they have been taken over i have been dealing with Scott Ryder who has been exceptionally helpful i now get updated about the markets and i have made significantly more with him, he is always available if i need help with anything. I will definitely be recommending them to anyone who is looking to get involved.

At first i was rather sceptical as this type of investment was unknown to me.
i spoke to one of their advisers who very coherently explained in detail how the investment itself and the process worked.
i started with £5k which quickly turned to £7k. i topped it up to 10k which is now sitting at nearly £15k all within the space of a month. i will certainly putting more money with them.

They are thieves, I have used them recently. Don't used them you will regret, all 5 star are fake, very dishonest company and so called brokers, Cen, Shane, Will the whole lot of them.

Being a virtual novice to the whole Crypto market place I was in need of a lot of hand holding for 2 reasons.

1. Pure scepticism of the virtual Crypto world (is it the Emperors New Clothes).
2. Apart from Bitcoin which everyone in the world is aware of now I hadn't heard of a single other currency.
To that end having had a lengthy discussion with Scott he put my mind at rest and give me the confidence to invest. And his suggestion of Ripple which I'd never heard of has given me a great ROI already.
So long may it continue and I'll still be seeking advice from the BVC team about the next BIG thing.

BVC were great. They offer good customer care, recommendations and help with the wallet technology too. Very friendly and professional service. So many sites and brokers do not give you a face to face customer experience, whereas BVC does. It makes a huge difference.

Initially, I met and dealt with Scott and Will. I also met David, the CEO and this made a huge difference. A 1:1 customer experience, with a patient and attentive customer care programme, made the process far easier. 

Great customer experience, coin research, the instant messenger notes and graphs are very helpful as well. Face to face meetings are invaluable.

BVC are growing fast and require a few more very experienced brokers so that the high workload is spread and a reliance on a small team is lightened. Normal for a relatively new company. BVC are growing fast which is very positive.

From my experience, I researched the coins and understand the technology behind them, asked Scott/Will for their view on it and then chose to invest. The coins I have are all strong 2-3 year plus performers. BVC gave very good tips and keep you updated on upcoming, undervalued coins which they are currently looking at.

The website is slick, the organisation should be great but my only experience is a negative one: I placed an order fro Ripple, at £1500 being their minimum order, which although £500 more than I wanted to buy I acquiesced. An hour later I got a phone call saying minimum spend is £5000 which is ridiculous, honour the transaction and then change it henceforth. Welcome to the City of London!

I contacted Buy virtual currency, when I was looking to purchase some crypto currency after a bad experience around Xmas time, I lost nearly £4K worth of stratis coins after I opened a Stratis web wallet by myself over the festive period online only to find out it was a Scam, the web address was stratis-wallet.info/ be careful folks never to use this address it's a Scam.

When I contacted Buy Virtual Currency I spoke to a lad by the name of Malachi Kelly, Malachi has been fantastic he has educated me on the does and donts of crypto buying, to be careful and what to watch out for as their are many scammers out their.

Malachi gained my trust after around 12 calls between each other over 4 days and at that stage I decided to purchase some crypto currency I chose Cardano and Stellar coins after some research .

I sent all my verification proofs in and Malachi sorted all this for me, I then sent the funds to purchase my crypto coins.

Malachi Kelly is an Assett to the company he works for and also a very honest helpful young lad, he assisted me every step of the way from setting up my web wallet to buying my coins , he is also on the end of the phone should I need him.

To sum everything up in my opinion the fees Buy Virtual Currency charge are worth every penny , especially if you are a new comer to Crypto's.

Malachi Kelly's knowledge of the industry is 2nd to none and was a real help to me especially after the start I had losing my first crypto coins after transferring them from Cryptopia exchange to a scam wallet that looked like the real thing.

So be very careful folks.
