I've been a member of the club for over 50 years and it appears that having reached a good level of service, it's now in decline. What's more the prices now charged are far to high for what's suppose... See more

With exceptional sites, beautiful locations and invaluable expertise, the Club makes the outdoors feel incredible for everyone. Proud of our heritage and protective of the future, we love nothing more than bringing our members closer to nature and each other, to enhance their wellbeing and create a lifetime of memorable moments. Our network of Club Sites stretches from the Cornish coast to the Scottish Highlands. It will always be the heart of our Club and offers consistently lovely camping wherever you go. You don’t need to be a member to stay, but there are great benefits to joining, like exclusive access to over 1,200 smaller, Certificated Sites, tucked away in spots from the quiet to the quite spectacular.

Well managed site by the Ccc site team during a very busy August week, Only problem was getting rock pegs to penetrate the the hard standing to erect awning,

Good campsites. But very expensive compared to some private campsites.we love the temporary holiday sites (out and about) we've been members for 36 years and we used to go to club sites first but now look at private sites first as they are often better value. Yes I know you send offers out for special deals (email) but if you just reduced the price to match private campsites then I feel everyone would benefit. I'm thinking off campers who don't benefit from age concession deals. Camping and caravanning club are still a excellent organisation.

I love most of the C&CC own sites and Rhandirmwyn is one of my favourites. Great location, not too big and friendly staff.
On the downside the rule about minimum 2 nights in high season is frustrating. I should be on my way to Ravensglass but I have engine problems, assuming I get my van back on the road this afternoon I could still set off and there are a number of C&CC sites i could stay at tonight en route as I probably won't make Ravensglass but the one night rule prevents me doing that.

Most of the sites are generally very nice clean and tidy stuff are always welcoming but like everything else they are getting very expensive

the sites are always well maintained. I have to say how friendly all the staff have been. Greatings on arrival could not be easier. The choice of sites is fantastic wheather you want a site away from the hustle of the busy towns or you want a site close to towns /villages the choice is there.

I enjoy my membership of this club because it's member orientated as well as friendly.

Too expensive now. Only use their campsites when there is no alternative. Use the Tempoary Holiday Sites much more now.

Club is fantastic but the web site and booking system is poor. Have to re log in to main site if your on site seeker and find what you want and also it would be better if it showed what is available for your requested days or alterbatives

Been a member for a few years now and gradually it seems to have got worse so I’ve cancelled my membership from next year , every year there seems to be less and less campsites and the ones that are left are starting to just cater for camper vans , less a less have washing and toilet facilities and less sites in the West Country, Cornwall and Devon you may as well go on line and save the membership price

We do not tour any longer, but use the Charmouth franchised site and store our caravan there. It is an excellent site with great staff and great shower and toilet blocks. It is also very well tended. It is very well located for the Dorset and Devon coasts. We love Lyme Regis.

The camping and caravan club is an excellent organisation. They have very good campsites and information on deals throughout the year.
They have a very good monthly email which includes competitions.

Expensive, if it wasn't for cl sites we would not join. Tried booking on line 2 sites in Scotland in May. Both fully booked up. Alwaya booked up, probably won't join next year, other sites far cheaper.

We were very disappointed this year that there has been no Torchlight Festival at Walesby. We have been to every one so far and were told at the 2024 event that there wouldn’t be one in 2025, but that it would be back in 2026.
There has been no mention of it since. We visited the first one with friends, one of whom has since passed away and we made some fantastic memories together. The others we had our young granddaughter with us and she absolutely loved every minute. She was so disappointed that there wasn’t one last year but we assured her that she’d definitely be joining us this year. She was very sad when we had to tell her that there wasn’t not going to be a festival again this time.
Walesby is a fabulous location for the festival and so easy for us to travel to, we really hope the Torchlight Festival will be back next year.

Excellent location. Site really well kept and clean despite being very busy. Very quiet at nights. Will definitely be back.

I’ve been a member for 30 years and now mainly use Certificated Sites, which are small and have fewer facilities. Membership gives me access to these sites and they can be brilliant. They are checked regularly by the Club to ensure they meet standards. When I have camped on Club sites I know I am guaranteed a good pitch of a reasonable size and good facilities. You don’t always get that on other sites. If there is I problem I know the Club will help. I’ve used the Club to book holidays and sites in France - no problems at all and everything was very straightforward. You also get regular magazines telling you about events. If you are social they organise events and rallies where you can meet other like minded people. (I’m not!) Overall a great organisation that offers good value for money.
