I've been a member of the club for over 50 years and it appears that having reached a good level of service, it's now in decline. What's more the prices now charged are far to high for what's supposed to be a members club and not for profit.
The moral of the site staff appears to be at an all time low, no criticism of the staff intended but there is definitely something amiss.

I wouldn't say our stay was great, very overcrowded and extremely noisy.
Club site are now pricing themselves out of the market.

We visited the Mablethorpe site at the beginning of July and Wow what a surprise. The site is so well placed, with a very easy walk to the beach and the town. The site itself is flat and the pitches and a good to large size. The staff are very engaging and have lots of local knowledge. There is so must to see and do around the Lincolnshire coast. The toilet block is clean with plenty of toilets and showers. The office/shop has all the essentials.
The question remaining is “would you go again” the answer 100% yes, I loved it.

I am a member of both the Camping and Caravanning Club and the Caravan and Motorhome Club. Both have small sites which provide interesting views and basic facilities. Unfortunately both clubs treat their CS and CL sites with disdain and second class services. Both clubs Apps are poor at searching for these sites. Hence only 4 stars

There are some lovely sites which are CCC. One of our favorites is Sandringham although they have priced us out if we need electric. I think charging an extra £10 a night is ludicrous. I think the CCC should monitor this and sites should not be allowed to charge this much.
It is a shame we can't enjoy all the sites at fairer prices.
We went non electric when we last visited in our camper van but are reluctant to take the caravan there now due to pricing

I am a long term member of Camping and caravan ing and use both their campsites and insure our VW California through them. I have consistently had excellent support from them whenever it was needed. My recent insurance claim through their office was faultless.

Lynton was a nice site with friendly staff. When you build a toilet block it will be very nice.
About half empty but this is probably due to the prices charged these days.

The club is friendly and professional in all aspects. The site staff are helpful and ensure the pitches are well set up and clean. The sites are well thought out and presented and an excellent stay is guaranteed .
I am semi disabled and need a mobility scooter which on the whole is well, catered for. WC access is set out on all club sites and on the whole are well thought out, however as an retired architect one or two sites are problemental, Nottingham was a great site, facilities above average, however the disabled we was poorly designed. The space in the toilet was good but the access was designed by someone who has never tried to navigate access with a wheelchair or scooter. The door access was set out without consideration for turning circles or manoeuvring space and I could not easily get my scooter in, in fact I had to leave it in the hall. It can be easily overcome by putting a new doorway into the hall not off of a tight access lobby. It is a shame that this let the site down badly. I am not being awkward as we used seven sites on our holiday tour and all were easily used, but consideration on this problem would be great fully considered. As a member I would happily assist and comment on designs to help others, otherwise I am more than happy with the club and its facilities and friendly faces. Keep up the good work !

Every site we've visited has been clean, tidy with friendly staff.
We love the fact that each site has 16amp electric hook up and the toilet / shower facilities are always clean and meet our expectations
When I've phoned the customer service team, (primarily to change a booked site) they have always been friendly and efficient
The website is easy to navigate and gives detailed information about the site & facilities, including safe access maps
We have found fellow campers are respectful and adhere to the site rules regarding vehicle movements and noise
We have been club members for 7 years!

Excellent club operated site. Would be nice to have had dedicated toilets, but I appreciate the difficulties of this for pop up sites.

Size of plot was to small for our needs.Despite us asking for a large plot.
Had to travel half an hour each way to fetch an electrical extension as our 25 meter extension was approximately 5 foot short. A explanation was given of where to pitch was given , which was misunderstood by us and we had to take down equipment etc. This is our 4th or 5th time camping with Camping and Caravanning Club and we've always been happy.
Our daughter arrived with her children on the second week and staff couldn't manipulate the system so she could camp next to us. However they did manage to get her 2 ptches down which might sound ok. But grandchildren running and visiting us may have been inconvenient for our neighbours I believe, even though neighbours never complained to us. We even looked at stopping at nearby campsite next year but the toilet washroom facilities are so much safer at Camping and Caravanning Club. Staff at our site were friendly happy very hard working and at all times trying to be and were helpful going out of their way to accomadate us.This is a fantastic site and always will be so dont be put off by my review. But take plenty of electric extension cable just in case .

Enjoy the variety of sites from rustic to better quality campsites. Campsites to suit. Many sites have a combination of pitches, with or without EHU and discount for OAPs.
Usually friendly staff. I would like a bigger say in the pitch allocation rather than being escorted to a pitch area. But most are very accommodating of our requirements.
Website is a bit outdated, but it works well, and easy to book.

The Camping and Caravan club offers consistent sites and facilities, you always know what you’re going to get. The site staff are always friendly and ready to help. Don’t expect swimming pools and club houses, but if you want a clean well designed friendly site with like minded people the Camping and Caravan club is for you.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. Shown quickly to our pitch with some advice on where to find further information.Facilties were very clean and with a river and pub nearby made for a great break . There are midges about that come and go with no apparent reason

Absolutely beautiful setting for a campsite, great views across the sea. Facilities a bit old but kept clean by the awesome friendly wardens. Definitely recommend staying here.

Being an older member I have experienced the good times with this club, back end season pitches, seniors discount etc.The senior discount has been waters down making it a joke,as have the back end season pitches. I have cancelled this club membership and remain with the CC and motor home club which suits all my needs.3 CD C
