I received 2 pairs of Peeps to clean my glasses, but with the microfibre pads missing. I have emailed numerous times to ask for these to be sent, but have not even received a response and the items... See more

Don't waste your money
Ordered in November. Still waiting for the delivery. Company not answering emails. Don't waste your money. I can't say anything about the quality of the product as it hasn't arrived for me to try it
Give the product a go through a reputable supplier
I saw an advert for these on Facebook and thought I’d check out the reviews. I wasn’t convinced about the reviews of people not receiving them, so decided to try ordering one on Amazon. I now think that the adverts on Facebook are from a dodgy company, given how cheap they are selling them for! The product itself seems to be really good, very easy to use and the glasses just seem to sparkle!
I would seriously recommend trying one of these products from Amazon first - a bit pricey but I think it will be worth it in the long run - I’m actually going to go back to Amazon now to buy one for my son!
Melted, sticky product that leaves black plastic gunk on your hands
The cleaning pads actually do work well, but they arrived with a damaged exterior. The black plastic case is sticky to the point it leaves disgusting plastic residue on the user’s fingers. It’s totally unusable. Another bad recommendation from The Grommet. Out of 5 orders from The Grommet’s holiday gift guides, two never showed up and one is so badly damaged the product isn’t usable.
UPDATE: I contacted Carbon Klean over a month ago to return the damaged, unusable, and potentially hazardous product they shipped me. They never responded to my email, but did somehow find time to fight my dispute with Capital One. I will be responding with additional documentation proving they shipped a damaged product and refused to respond to my attempts to return it.
Do Nor Trust
Ordered product and canceled order 69 minutes later. Received order 5 weeks later. NOW THEY WONT RESPOND TO EMAILS!!!
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY
Avoid
Avoid. Waste of money. The instructions say that one has to CLEAN the glasses first !!! then use the so called ‘invisible’ carbon suckers to go over the lens.
Only suckers here are the customers.
I need to write to NASA to see if these claims are accurate. Oh and avoid paying with PayPal, it reduces your protection as a buyer.
DON'T BOTHER CALLING THEIR CUSTOMER…
DON'T BOTHER CALLING THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU WILL NEVER REACH ANYONE. I CALLED 3 TIMES. I SENT THEM AN EMAIL. NO REPLY. I WILL BE SENDING THEIR PRODUCT BACK.
Pretty sure I got scammed
Pretty sure I got scammed. Bought nearly £100 from Facebook advert. Heard nothing for weeks. Then random message from parcelforce saying I owe £50 worth of customs charges. I have tried contacting the company to no avail. Trying to get my money back via credit card. Not paying customs charges, no thanks, not worth it for some stocking fillers!
I think they work great
My orders have come without any issues. I use them myself and have given them as gifts to family members. I think they clean great! Much better than spray cleaner and microfiber cloths, which always leave streaks for me. I don't understand all the negative reviews. These are the best portable cleaning gadgets I've ever used.
No customer service and delivery slow
Ordered some eyeglass cleaners to give as presents. They wrote the ship out immediately. Check their site a week later and my items hadn’t been shipped. Wanted to cancel the order (they already took my money via PayPal.) so tried to call but only a message they’ll call me back, which they didn’t. Emailed them and got a reply “Please allow 48-72 business hours for a response to emails. As we are working to ensure that all inquiries are resolved in a timely manner, please only send one email request per issue as multiple requests will cause your messages to be reverted back to the bottom of the response list.” In other words no customer support. BUT immediately got a response they’d shipped my order. Looked at the site and my order still hasn’t been shipped. Very dumb to have ordered from them.
Scam website?
I tried to pay with PayPal and got an error message on their website saying ‘Unfortunately your payment could not be processed. There was an error processing your payment with your PayPal funding source. Please select an option below to try again. Retry with PayPal. Pay another way.’ There is no problem with my PayPal account, so now I’m worried this is a scam website and maybe my account details have been captured.
Peeps by Carbonklean is A Complete Waste of Money
Completely worthless product.
Peeps by Carbonklean is an absolute waste of money. The brush on the end is completely useless and does nothing to clean your glasses. In fact, it feels like it might even scratch the lenses rather than help. The cleaning pads are no better – they can remove a bit of dust, but they’re entirely ineffective against fingerprints, smudges, or anything more substantial.
At $10-15, this product is outrageously overpriced. You can find the exact same item on other sites, like Temu, for just $1.50. The lack of value here is astonishing.
To make matters worse, there’s no option to return the product, and customer service is nonexistent. The sales page is full of glowing reviews, but I suspect they’re fake. This has been a frustrating and disappointing experience, and I would strongly advise anyone against purchasing Peeps.
I read the positive reviews and thought…
I read the positive reviews and thought this would be great during my travels. IT IS A TOTAL WASTE!!
It does not work and you can not return it once it is opened!! They refuse to to accept returns if you have opened the package to try their product!
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!
Shit product that doesn’t work at all
Shit product that doesn’t work at all. Their customer service sucks, doesn’t reply when ask for refund.
Does customer service even exist????
do not buy…
Complete waste of money do not buy ,they do not clean ,they appear to make the glasses worse I now use a cheap one and it cleans a lot better
Not as advertised
Based on advertising, I tried this product on my own eyeglasses. Despite re-cleaning several times, my glasses remained streaky. This product will not clean skin oils from eyeglasses. They are not as effective as advertising claims. The best way to clean my glasses remains a good glasses cleaner and facial tissues.
This gadget does not clean any better…
This gadget does not clean any better than a spray and cloth, can't get to the corner of the glasses. Don't waste your $.
Non-existent customer service, so-so products
tl;dr Customer service is non-existent. The products are only so-so. AVOID!
I bought some Peeps and a screen cleaner. Total order value was almost 88 euros, but carbonklean declared way too much on the Customs label. Now I need an invoice to prove that the actual value was a lot less, so I can get a partly refund for the import fees I paid. They should of course have sent an invoice right after paying for the order, but okay... I emailed carbonklean twice to ask if they could send me an invoice, but they never replied (no, also no reply in the spam folder).
Besides that, the overpriced Peep is okay at best. Nothing special; a microfiber cloth and glasses cleaner are much better fit for the job, at a fraction of the price for a Peep.
Don’t use this company…
I ordered my glasses cleaner 2months ago and have received nothing. When I asked for info after 1 month of waiting I received an automatic reply saying they would respond within 72 hours. After nearly another month I am still waiting. I believe these guys are con merchants and seriously doubt the review saying they received their order quickly.
100% Genuine Company
I placed an order for the Peeps eyeglass cleaner and then read bad reviews and thought oh no I’ve been conned as I too received DHL Germany tracking - well I set it to email me updates and to my surprise I was getting them and in just over a week they arrived today!!
So out with my pairs of glasses and guess what? They actually cleaned them up as advertised!! I’m well impressed and wasn’t a con at all. I got the buy one n get 2nd half price , so once they are finished and my glasses keep to what they are now then il deffo be buying more!
Cheers!
