Avoid like the plague!!!!!

Avoid like the plague, hugely expensive a check it takes 8 working days to clear, customer service? what customer service? It's beyond a joke.

I had a loan from my brother, and although I have given them all the details they requested, they still refused it and sent it back because it is suspicious.

This is not a service it is taking advantage of people with no respect whatsoever.

Update

Update! Not only can’t I access the funds that are showing as my balance that were paid into my business account 6 days ago, but an attempt was made to pay into the account on Tuesday and returned to payer? I keep being told this is due to apparent technical issues? NO, This is fraud, they should NOT be allowed to trade, utterly rude customer service What the hell is going on here? I am now contacting the FCA, the financial ombudsman and TRADING STANDARDS!!!
I hope that ALL the dissatisfied customers reviews I have read, not only on this review platform but several others, do the same.

I wish I could rate zero stars

I wish I could rate zero stars. HAVENT EVEN USED MY ACCOUNT, the second I put £10 from my sister in OVER A BARFLAYS COUNTER, they’ve closed my account for suspected fraud? TEN POUNDS WORTH OF FRAUD?! I’m not that poor. Disgusting customer service. Massive lack of communication. After reading, fees are crazy. Couldn’t even withdraw the £10 if I wanted to thanks to the £1.50 withdrawal fee. Disgusting.

Absolutely rubbish customer service

Absolutely rubbish customer service. Nearly every time I want to pay a supplier I’m having to ring up customer services to obtain a payment code! Needless to say, every call I make results in extra costs. As if this wasn’t bad enough, very often when I ring up im being told by customer services that my details don’t exist on my account so can’t access my account! Strange because I can access the account via the internet! I’ve been told by their IT dept countless times that everything has now been sorted out but the next time I ring customer services once again I’m told my details don’t exist! They even sent me a card in my name but was told by customer services that the card doesn’t exist! Even telling them that I intended to close my business account which has been open for nearly two years had no effect! Rubbish service! If you happen to make a payment to someone by mistake or pay them the wrong amount, don’t bother ringing customer services, even if it’s within 5 minutes of making the payment they won’t help you! You get the impression that they could help but it’s all too much trouble for them to bother!

Not received refund after 14 days.. Cardone won't help.

Double booked a party with my card.. Merchant stated they refund my card.. 14 days later didn't receive my refund for over £200.. Requested card one banking to act on my behalf. They refused after I've sent several email communications, showing that I'm entitled to a refund from the company.. I went back to the company myself to resolve the issue by physically going back to branch, they showed me proof and my money still not there.. I'm now started to believe it's not the merchant it's Cardone banking system issue.. Coming into three weeks now no money back. Has anyone else had this problem? Where do I go to complain?

Run away!

My credit I isnt great after a few failed businesses so I’ve had to turn to services such as Cashplus - I thought the grass would be greener at CardOne but this services charges extremely high fees (which is fine if you get the value) but when I need customer service assistance’s I can never get so much as my pin changed because the lady on the phone insists my card is working perfectly.

I’m 25yo and familiar with technology and certainly aren’t a victim of dementia, so I know when my card is pin locked and I cannot make card purchases.

To top it off in order to transfer money out you need to transfer money from the card account to the billing account and they charge you a nice £5 to do that
That’s with £7.50 to transfer your money out of the billing account the same day

There are way better services out there such as cashplus of Starling bank which is free

Business Account - Very pleased.

I opened an account with CardOne Banking and was very impressed with the service. I am not an employee nor ever had any dealings with them. However, they provided an excellent business banking facility for a modest setup charge and ongoing fees. Well done.

It’s not even worthy of one star

It’s not even worthy of one star. I originally opened this account for savings and 2 transfer funds into my normal bank account, my bank is a good 5 mile trip and I visited it every week to put money in, so I thought this account was ideal as I could top up and my local shop and transfer money into my bank with out having to travel, the £12.50 or whatever fee per month was a tad off putting but I’d probably spend that in petrol getting to my normal bank anyway so wasn’t a issue. Anyway, my card arrived, I set up online banking ect what wasn’t hard at all, curiosity got the better of me and I wanted to know how long it would take to send and receive money via bank transfer, so I send £1 from my bank account to this “new” account and the whole process took 2 hours! Not the best but again wasn’t a issue, then I decided to transfer the £1 back to my normal bank account and I was shocked to be given 2 options, option 1, pay £7.50 for an instant transfer or option 2, wait 2 days for it to clear for free, obviously I took option 2 but this shocked me as I’m already paying £12.50 per month to use this account. Anyway this is where the annoying part comes.... currently I have my old car in my drive, it’s died and I’m selling the parts off it, someone wanted a part but wanted to pay via bank transfer, so I thought il give my new account details and have some beer money without telling my lass ;) so he makes the transfer and I can see the funds pending so he comes and gets his part and the deal is done (2 hours later) I thought the money would be available to spend but it’s still pending? Thinking nothing of it I leave it at that, 4 hours later I look again and it’s still pending! I go to bed and check the next morning, STILL pending! So I give this place a ring and they informed me that the bloke who transferd the money didn’t put my correct name in the payee section therefore the fraud team are looking into it, I need to send them a INVOICE of sale of my car part or I need to get the buyer of the part to get intouch with them and send them ID! What?? Iv never ever known issues like this ever! It’s my worst experience with a so called bank ever and I’m now down money as the buyer isn’t willing to send ID ect and to be honest I don’t blame him. There’s plenty online account company’s about so I urge you not to use this one! Safe to say I told them I won’t be using there services anymore and they just said “ok” absolutely shocking service. STAY AWAY

Applied to open up a business account with Cardone Banking what a dame waste of time. Company is very misleading. They refused me. My credit history is not that bad, i only made two late mortgage payments which brought down my credit and Cardone banking say they don't do credit checks on you! They are lying. Anyway I decided to go with Cashplus and instantly i got an account number and sort code. Do not use cardone banking they are crap!

Awful Service!

Been banking with them for 6 years, no problems. I had some fraudulent transactions made on my card. They used my card details, however a different name. Not once was it flagged. I phoned them to make them aware, crying whilst on the phone to be greeted with a very rude girl with a bad attitude. After days of ringing their over priced phone number, I was advised that the they believe the transactions were genuine. Despite providing a mountain of physical evidence, they refuse to refund my money. Six years of locality obviously means nothing to these clowns. Would never bank with them again and I recommend others stay well clear!
