VERY POOR, MISLEADING AND INCOMPETENT, STAY WELL AWAY !
First of all the whole signup is misleading, they state a 4 hours account opening but actually take 3 days to give you a decision and when you do get accepted it takes another 7 days for your login details, you'd rather go through the high street bank. OK, now i can start banking with them after 2 weeks....I transferred some funds from paypal which went through fine and then second funds which went through fine and then third transfer went into uncleared status, cardone blocked my account and wanted evidence of source of funds which i provided in ample amounts, screenshots of transactions, statements, my business profile etc (which of course I provided during the account opening process that costs £59.99), after 3 days they closed my account and said funds need to be pulled back by paypal, I spoke to paypal and they requested a statement so they can proceed with the pullback but since i cannot log into my cardone bank as I have been blocked, the only way is for them to send me a statement through the post which on 2 occasions they said they sent it in the post but nothing has come through despite stating it was sent by tracked postage but no tracking number is given. So now paypal will not pullback the funds as time has lapsed despite informing cardone of the urgency and funds are stuck with cardone whom will not transfer them to me or kick them back to paypal or write me a cheque. In short they have robbed me, what sort of a bank steals people's money? I say this because during the application process i specifically asked if payal transfers into the account are accepted and i as reassured that's fine and also cardone could have stopped the account when i made my first paypal transfer, BUT NO, the crooks waited until I accumulated all my funds and was about to make a supplier payment and then all of a sudden account closed ! my business has stopped trading, I cannot pay my invoices, very embarrassing ! So now i have filed a complaint with the Financial Ombudsman Service and the regs FCA as well as the electronic money regulator to claim back my money, In short...this is the fastest way to ruin your business, stay well away, there are many other instant business accounts available...every night i regret not considering all the bad reviews about this bank ! also ignore any follow up reply to my complaint by cardone here, they have no interest in resolving the matter...
Garbage.
Garbage.. have sent money the wrong way, card has failed multiple times for no reason meaning I have to call the customer services team... service is a stretch and they are plain rude most of the time. Do yourself a favour and just get a proper business account, avoid all of the pain and disapointment.
Diabolical customer services
Diabolical customer services - arguementative too. Don't send you notifications if there is a problem with your account such as a funds transfer being held up because the name wasn't exactly as it should be. Have to phone them at 11p per minute for things that are THEIR fault. No apologies, no explanation - just rude customer service advisers who don't give a hoot. Never been so frustrated in al my life
Don't bother with the business account
Abysmal. My issue is here the double standards and the sarcastic approach namely from Duncan in their business team. Has no comprehension that randomly blocking access pertaining to changes that occurred weeks ago could possibly cause problems. I had multiple questions but got hung up on after Duncan not really being overly helpful decided that the conversation was over.
Non interested, non supportive, non responsive, bad transfer times, expensive to transfer funds, I could go on.
I will be moving my service at some point when I have time but I cannot stress what a bad fit this is for any startup business.
I've just gone to login in again and got a server error....you could not write this.
