Friendly helpful staff, fast and efficient. Got a great deal

The girl Holly I was dealing was so nice and polite. She also listened to every need I had and made it happen. We are so thrilled and really looking forward to our trip.

The service I received again was outstanding, very helpful, the staff member I dealt with, Louise Kenna, was very professional and friendly, she sorted out my booking, and my accommodation and flights are exactly what I asked for, I had an option of several flights and different hotels, I’m very pleased with whole process and it was perfect for my budget 😀 I’m more than happy to recommend Cassidy Travel and Louise Kenna for all her help to other travellers. We regularly use the Liffey valley office for our trips abroad. Staff appear very knowledgeable and are happy to devote plenty of time to answer our questions.
This time we we were helped by Carol S who was particularly helpful and put forward loads of options to suit our budget.

Hidden Markups! Very shady system with online flightbooking system when using a voucher.

I got a voucher from family for €350 back in April.

Tried to book a flight on website in July, wouldn't take my voucher, so I called  873 5000, they then say you need to do flights over the phone when using a voucher ( Already very messy with bank details etc ) but then when giving details, they then give a price that is 20% marked up compared to their own website. €290ish on their website became €330ish over the phone

I tried to book 2 separate flights this way, another time in August - both times had significant markups so I abandoned Cassidy altogether and paid normally without voucher/through airline.

I repeatedly asked why there was such a mark up to basically be told 'I don't know, that's just the way it is, can’t do anything for ya on it' 

I completely understand that Cassidy have to do some kind of a markup compared to the original flight company to stay in business, that’s fine, but to then mark up again ( compared to their own website ) just because I'm using a voucher felt kinda dirty. 

They've been paid already and are just taking complete advantage of that. 

Few weeks later I tried to ask for money back against the voucher after venting frustration to a manager, to which it was denied/non-refundable. I then decided to call back to run a hypothetical to triple check, picked out some flights that amounted to €168 on the website and were all of a sudden €190 over the phone.
I asked why this was and was then told that they would get onto the online team because I wasn’t speaking to the right department ( this is my 3rd time dealing with them and only finding this out now ) 

The person on the phone couldn’t then get hold of online team, but then continues to say, 'hang on a minute and I can match that price for you' 

Why couldn’t they just have said this the first time I called? Why are you not directing people onto online team immediately instead of fleecing people?Why can't I just have my money refunded if this is the way I've been clearly mistreated. I'll give yas 20 quid off the voucher at this stage to just have finished with it.

Its after making my nice, significant birthday present from family into an absolutely horrible scenario. 
Awful experience and I still have my voucher and nothing to show for it 2 flights later.

I went into shop in blanch. Suzanne helped us. I explained what I wanted and what I wanted to spend. She went through a few offers which were pricey, then found Taillin in Estonia. It was within my budget. I'm really looking forward to my breakaway with my two grandsons. Thank you
