Sold us a car with an HT lead which was held together with super glue, needs a full exhaust as the flexi is snapped and blowing. Absolutely robbed us and the warranty is worthless, was expected to send pictures of a leak from under the car, only had it 1 month and needs money putting into it

To be fair the dealership were very helpful and as i was buying the car online it was very impressive to have it delivered over 100 miles away the next day. Unfortunately for myself within a few days it had broken down with a faulty fuel injector which cost over £500 to repair. I contacted aftersales and they paid the garage directly no problem whatsoever and as i only paid £3750 in the first place any profit for themselves must of gone straight away. To cut a long story short it broke down again and another £500 was spent by myself and then broke down again but this time was deemed a lost cause due to cracks in the engine block so the car was scrapped after 7 months. So in essence the dealership was quick and efficient and helpful to a point but loosing over £4000 in several months still hurt. One thing i would add that if you take a warranty out with them to check the small print and make sure its fit for purpose as the company they use warranties 2000 has many levels of cover. So all in all the dealership was ok to deal with but unfortunately for myself i just happened to pick the one duff car!.

I rang up to say I was interested in looking at a car, I got told it was available to look at but hadn’t been prepped yet and to bare that in mind, i told the salesman i was going to be there in the next 1-2 hours. we then drove an hour and 30 minutes to view this car to be told it had been taking into prep and we couldn’t view it anymore. take with a pinch of salt what this company tell you. i felt they could have rung me back to tell me this before wasting a 3 hour journey in horrendous traffic.

Cant speak for the other staff as one man sorted the whole process for me, that being John. He took a friendly informal manner whilst still remaining proffesional throughout.

John understood the nature of my enquiries well, didnt hard sell or push me, and facilated a fuss free sale very quickly, wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I purchased a car from catalina of Stanningley in March which in all honesty was a very smooth and efficient process always felt like the sales team were adding no pressure and were all very knowledgeable and helpful but I believe a company will show their true colours in the after sales.Now come 18th June the car I purchased which was a bmw x1 developed a real issue with a blown head gasket I rung catalina but unfortunately my warranty had just expired in which case alot of garages would say unlucky not our problem and this is where catalina showed the benefit of going through a very reputable family business.I was put in touch with a wonderful lady called Hannah at the aftercare team who was in constant contact throughout and came to a very fair and generous outcome she really was a credit to the company I believe this company fully deserves a 5 star rating and would 100 percent recommend to anyone looking to buy a car in the future

I have been happy with my dealings with Catalina. I saw the car online but even if the car is perfect I will only buy from a reputable, preferably long standing dealership with mainly positive reviews and Catalina ticked all those boxes. Even saying that, once I get there if my gut instinct tells me no, I will listen to it and walk away. I reserved the car on Auto Trader and spoke via e-mail and then Whatsapp with Michael. He obtained me a finance agreement straightaway and answered lots of questions about the car. Having answered these, all I had to do on the Saturday was turn up and take it for a drive. I knew I wanted the car even before I had driven it, so I went ahead and purchased it. I’ve only had it for around a fortnight and it’s running really well and I love driving it. It was in immaculate condition. When I collected it, my son was with me and asked a question about a car on the forecourt and although Michael was happy to answer him, he didn’t use it as an opportunity to try and get another sale, he just gave me his full attention. There was no hard sell at all for extended warranties or optional extras, I was just made aware they were available. Both staff members I spoke to were just really nice, no shmoozing, fake over friendliness or creeping around me, just politeness and professionalism. They followed up my purchase with a whatsapp message to ask how things were and I feel confident should any issues arise during the warranty period I’ll be able to ask them.

John was fantastic allowed us to look at cars with no pressure what so ever and then supported us in answering all of our questions.

Just bought a Tesla Model 3 here and the process was very straight forward and all the staff I encountered were very nice and Michael who dealt with my purchase was very helpful the entire time. Would highly recommend!

Top marks for sales and straight forward. What let them down was the car was dirty. I had lolly pop sticks in the air vents. Paint on the seats and it stunk of wet dog. After a day both rear tyres sensors came up flashing with a malfunction. They said their valeter was on holiday. Anybody can clean a car out .....

I saw a gorgeous VW Polo online at Catalina of Stanningley, and immediately called for availability and went over to have an in-person look. Steve was fantastic and rolled down the windows for me in preparation during the heatwave. Due to me being on a spousal visa I've been rejected for finance/leasing over 15 times in the last year, and Steve managed to get me finance on the vehicle for a good price on the day! We're very happy with the level of service from Steve and Catalina of Stanningley
