Poor service and delivery

I was pleased with the stove and there was no damage. However, I wasn't happy with the service. When I ordered the stove the website stated it was in stock but as soon as I had paid for it I got a message saying that it wasn't in stock. As I had already arranged for the engineer to be here to install it I was a little anxious that it wouldn't arrive on time. I heard nothing for almost two weeks but after I emailed the company I got a message from the suppliers saying that it would be delivered shortly. Luckily it did arrive on time but I was extremely angry about the delivery. The delivery man would not bring it into the house, even though I asked him and just left it in the street outside. There are no steps or anything to hinder anyone bringing into the house, a matter of a couple of metres. This is a heavy cast iron stove and impossible for me (a man of nearly 70) to move on my own. Happily some friends and our neighbour helped so at least it wasn't blocking the street. Change the delivery company!

Stay Away

Unbelievable poor service waited over 4 months with never ending broken promises we had to turn to PayPal to get our money returned.

Overall pretty good

I ordered a Jotul stove and chimney pipes. The pipes came after 1 month and the Jotul stove arrived today. This order took 2 months to complete, and originally on my devis it said 4-6 days, but i got an e-mail saying there was a delay with the Jotul stove. After reading negative reviews I was worried that I might not get the stove and need legal action to recover my money, but I just needed to be patient and wait. The stove is EUR 800 cheaper than my local provider who said it would also take 6-8 weeks, so I am happy. The things which the company could do better are: be more realistic about the delivery dates, be more responsive to customer e-mails, and have the option to follow orders by phone rather than just by mail. Overall I have a stove much cheaper than my local provider, so whats not to like. I think they ARE TRUSTWORTHY overall, but need to improve customer response.
