I can thoroughly recommend Clearance-Solutions. They were punctual, thorough and did a really great job, even vacuuming the flat after removing the contents and furniture.

Clearance Solutions were easy to deal with from start to finish. They removed furniture and other items from our house and we were very happy with the service they provided.

I whole heartedly recommend the services of this company. What struck me most was that everyone I dealt with throughout the process (from booking, getting a quote, work being carried out) treated me with the identical high standards.
On the day the work was carried out I realised that I had slightly more items to remove than I was originally quoted for. This was not a problem and although I offered to pay a bit more they still honoured the original quote.
If you need a rubbish removal company do not hesitate to use these guys. I will will using them again for sure.

Excellent and efficient service. A great relief to get rid of so much stuff in my attic at relatively little cost. And it's nice to think that it won't all go straight into landfill.

In reply: 1. My 90 year-old father suffered the stress of Clearance Solutions threatening our estate agent that they would dump all the furniture back into the old house. He then suffered the stress of a “Letter Before Action” threatening legal action against him and me when I asked for a compromise solution.
2. The two senior Clearance Solutions people confirmed on the day that there were many, many items they were taking to sell on – in fact one of the vans was specifically to take the more valuable pieces, with the other vans taking boot sale stuff plus rubbish.
3. There were a few breakages, as explained to the boss, but nothing valuable (the marble was probably already broken).

We made the painful mistake of using Clearance Solutions to do our removal and our house clearance. They multiplied their removals quote by three times when they'd half finished the job, saying there was much more stuff (3 times?!) to be moved. This defied all known logic because they also claimed the amount of stuff for clearance was the same as their original quote!

When I said I wasn’t happy (and in any case couldn’t pay the bill while I was physically driving from the old to the new property on removal day!) they asked the men to pull over midway and threatened to move everything back into the old house.
My 90 year-old father, who was already suffering the stress of moving out of the family home of 33 years, found all this an incredibly traumatic experience, as you can imagine. (The irony is incredible, because they claim to have links to Age UK!)

They also claim, on the not-for-profit LCRN website as well as to us when they came to quote, that they offset ‘costs against the resale value of items cleared’. Indeed, they admitted on the day that they were taking a lot of good quality stuff to sell on, but of course there was no mention of this when their bill came in.

Other complaints include: various breakages, one of their men disappearing an hour after he arrived on the first day leaving them short of manpower, the boss failing to pass on the access/parking details of the removals destination to his team, tipping receipts promised but never supplied.

Apart from the breakages, they point-blank refused to address a single one of these complaints, or to reduce their bill to something in the same ball-park as their original quote. Instead, they threatened my father with legal action.

Fast, friendly and careful with our carpet and walls. Will book again.

We're extremely pleased with all the work done in clearing our deceased aunt's house. The (very messy) house was cleared very well, and they even cleared the overgrown garden, which hadn't been tended for years. Everyone was very professional. Highly recommended.
