Super rude staff .
Scammers charging 760 euros for a windscreen when there was two chips (which were probably there before )
I have never had such terrible service . Still waiting for them to get back to me . Sent two emails so far . Waiting for a manager to get back to me .
Fine in Palma

Totally flawless experience in Palma. Sorry for everyone else and your awful experiences elsewhere.
Avoid this company at all costs !
Avoid this company at all costs !
As per the other reviews (wish I had read them first) we rented via Auto Europe and then found out our agreement was with Click Rent. The car was covered in dints and scratches and the seats were covered in cigarette burns. We photographed all of the dints, or so we thought, but when we returned the car they found a dint we didn't have evidence of - under normal circumstances we would have accepted this as maybe it was done while we had the car, but we were certain it hadn't. The car was so badly damaged all over, and we were in a rush to leave that we must have missed this one....as another reviewer mentioned, it was almost like they knew where to look ! On the morning we returned our car, there were 4 other UK families all returning cars and all having the same experience, absolutely shocking - everyone being charged a minimum of 300 euros. As you're on the way back to the airport to catch a flight you have no option but to sign the paperwork and leave.
Emptied my bank account after i returned car
Do yourself a favour - Avoid avoid avoid. Gave me a car in Ibiza in bad condition. The engine cover fell off the underside of the car. Blamed me and charged me €280 - I paid and got my deposit back. Three days later - after I left the country - they charged my debit card €1,300 without asking and without explanation. Basically just emptied my bank account. They won’t respond to my calls or emails - only explanation I got was a statement attaching photos of the engine cover that I had already paid for. This behaviour is shocking and goes well beyond just bad service or unethical practice.
Read reviews, decided to change rental company
This is not a review, but when I read the other reviews, I decided to ask my travel company to cancel the booking with Clickrent and re-book with another car hire company, which they did.Not sure why a reputable travel company would even use a company with so many reports of bad customer service.
**Avoid This Company at All Costs—They…
**Avoid This Company at All Costs—They Are a Complete Scam!**
Disregard any positive reviews you may come across about this company. Trust me, you'll save yourself a lot of trouble by staying far away from them. Here's what happened to me:
In Ibiza, I was given a car in such terrible condition that I could hardly believe it. I should have refused to take it, but I was in a hurry and decided to go with it. When I returned the car, the staff member thoroughly inspected the vehicle, then watched the detailed video I had recorded. However, he conveniently pointed out two marks on the back bumper that were just below the area my video covered—almost as if he knew they were there and was counting on the fact that I wouldn't have video evidence of that spot. They then charged me 300 euros for these pre-existing damages.
Shockingly, the next customer behind me experienced something similar. The staff checked the entire car and then reached under it to find a dent that was clearly already there. The customer had video evidence of the car's condition but hadn't filmed underneath, leaving him vulnerable to this scam. Even though he had full insurance, it didn't cover undercarriage damage, which was clearly pre-existing.
This company is a disgrace, and I am pursuing legal action against them. I will be posting this review everywhere to warn others. Even if you're desperate for a car in Ibiza, find another option—because if you use this company, you **will** be scammed.
Still waiting for refund
I had taken the full package (at a quite reasonable £260 for an SUV) which as it turned out was required as another car crashed into the side of me and drove off.
To be fair to Clickrent the replacement process was fairly easy as I obtained a police report and then had the car towed by clickrent to Alicante.
The downside was that I was stuck an hour away with no car and had to spend £100 on a taxi to get back to the clickrent office. There is nowhere on the Clickrent site to reclaim this and I have emailed them with no response.
Don't even think about renting a car…
Don't even think about renting a car from this company.
Book via DoYouSpain with the extra insurance cover, but was told at collection that this insurance is nothing to do with them and ask me to pay for their insurance which I decline to do, I was made to pay €2000 car deposite and €165 fuel deposite on my credit card.
The car I was given had dents and marks all round, I gone back to ask for the car report at the desk but was told just to take photos myself.
Upon returning the car with full tank of fuel, the lady at the return car say there is a dent on the front wing which is not on her ipad, luckily I took photos and video to proof it was already there before I took the car. She finally agreeded and say will release all fund hold on my credit card.
After 3 days I see the €2000 has been un-hold on my card but only €130 was refunded for the fuel deposite, they have taken 35€ for their non refundable admin fee (OMG !) which was not mention at the online booking nor at the collection desk.
Don't rent from this company
This is the least stars you can give
This is the least stars you can give. If possible I would not give any. Complete scammers from start to finish. They do not even show you the car. Charged me frot an optional cdw which I already had. Charged 55 euros so we could return car early in morning as they wete not open early enough. Returned car by followibg the instructions emailed by them only to be charged an additional 120 euros for parking in the wrong place which we didnt and a furlher 35 for the parking ticket we had already paid for. Total waste of space and still sorting out with Ryanair after care. Do not touch with a barge pole!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY i have been…
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY i have been charge 550Euros for a tiny scratch that i did not do.
if you do not take out there additional insurance they go out of their way to find something and if you are in a hurry - forget about being able to argue with them!!!
Nobody was there to check the car when we hired it, but there were 2 people searching every inch looking for anything they could find to charge you for!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AND MAKE SURE YOU SHARE THIS WITH EVERYONE YOU KNOW
SCAMMERS
Malaga airport rental scam
Alert!! Malaga airport scam.
Clickrent charged 530€ for a little scratch on the front plastic bumper which was already in the car when we rented it. The car had many small marks and it was impossible to photograph them all. We had our children witness live how to cheat customers.
clickrent.es is SCAM
clickrent.es
is scam,
i was a victim myself,
they give u damaged car and refuse to make a proper damage report during check out, claiming they have no time for this,
during car return they start to claim every pre-existed damage from u.
door lock scam…
Got me with the damaged door lock scam even though I had photo,s of the lock, how can you see/photograph inside the lock,we never used the manual door lock, am a mechanical engineer and they snatched the key off me before I could check it,while we complained the car was vacumed and put back on hire
DON’T USE THEM. TOTALLY SCAM.
The company trues to scam every customer. When you return the car they have a manual with the damages, there was before you pick up the car.
They try to blame the damages on you, but we had foto dokumentation from the pick up, so se we could say no no no.
But then they started on the frontscreen, and there was some microscopically marls, so the car enedes a new frontscreen to the price of 800 euro.
Totally scam.
They do the same thing to every custumer, but a new damages for every return.
And we know that, bevause we have rented two Cars, and they tried the same scam at our friends car.
DON’ USE CLIKRENT. TOTALLY SCAM
Clickrent Malaga Airport
Clickrent Malaga Airport - Absolute fraud - they look for any scratches if insurance is not bought through them. I got charged for a, clearly older than a week, damage with (on top) rude manners.I Did not sign for the damage and they still proceeded to charge. If you really HAVE to rent through this scammy service make sure you take pictures of the entire vehicle in order not yet to get surprised. clickrent, you should be ashamed of yourselves. I truly
hope your business sinks.
They still owe me a refund 3 months…
They still owe me a refund 3 months after. Countless emails back and forth. Don't bother.
They are thieves! do not rent with them!
They are thieves, their office is far from Ibiza airport and on returning, not having had time to go to their office which is 20 minutes from the airport, I delivered the car to their representative at the airport and in addition to charging 70 euros for the delivery there and for the parking (which could be acceptable) they charged me other 350 euros for damages that I absolutely did not do (I used the car very little and consciously), do not rent with them!!!
Stay away from this company
We rented a large 9-seater Peugeot from Click Rent in Palma de Mallorca in early May 2022, and when we received the car it was flooded with damages and scratches all around the car, which made us take a lot of photos as documentation. When it was handed over a week later, they found among the many damages on the front bumper a superficial scratch in the gray plastic of approx. 5-6 cm. which "accidentally" could not be seen in my photos. If that kind of scratches were to appear in my photos, then I should have taken at least 70 close-ups of the car. But despite the car having damage everywhere, they withdrew 400 euros on my credit card for a superficial scratch that I could not prove. Needless to say, I never rent from Click Rent again and I do not recommend others to do so, it is undoubtedly a fixed part of their business concept that they make money on cheating customers in this way.
I Would Never Use Clickrent Again
On a recent trip to Spain, we booked our hire car with Clickrent via Zest Car Rental (the two companies are poles apart by the way).
We arrived to collect our car and they tried to tell me that I needed four full months left on my credit card before expiry, I explained that I had four full months as it was mid March and my card was valid until the end of July. I also explained that the terms given to us by Zest stated three months not four.
They would not accept any of this and said the only way that we could get our car rental was to pay €336 for their "special" insurance; at that price it should be extra special as it is more than I would pay for a year!!
Anyway, that point aside, they would not accept that I already was conforming with their terms, at this point I phoned Zest Car Rental. Zest were brilliant, they spoke with the representative explaining that we had agreed to the terms that Clickrent had given Zest Car Rental, the Zest representative stayed on the phone until it was sorted and we got our car.
So if you want to get cheap car rental, I would definitely recommend Zest Car Rental as a broker, but I would never use Clickrent again, I would rather pay more elsewhere.
Clickrent: an oiled policy of robbers!
Clickrent: an oiled policy of robbers!
Agency to avoid absolutely
Have attractive call prices to attract the customer, and are located outside the rental park to reduce their costs (need to take a shuttle to go to the rental location)
They consistently charge cleaning fees by taking pictures of dirty floor mats and asking for $150 cleaning fees!
The agency is closed at night and charges 40€ in case of deposit of the car in the night hours.
An oiled scam with whom you are unable to protest because all this is in the small paragraphs in tiny size in the general conditions that you obviously don't read...
