The Mortgage Program for Costco Members 

I would highly recommend using the Costco Mortgage Program. It was super easy to use, I saved money and it gave me a large selection of Lenders to choose from. I would definitely use this program again.

We were looking to refinance and researched all over the Internet, but it was tricky to tell what the real interest rate was. However, when we got to Costco it was pretty clearcut. We chose Strong Mortgage and had a very good experience. Yes, we ran into some obstacles, but Strong worked with us in an honest way and everything worked out great.

So thanks to Strong Mortgage and Costco we ended up with a great rate.

The whole team was great. From the loan officer to the processor who was awesome. Shout to Joely Lenz. She answered all my questions and guided me throughout the whole process.

The program was easy to use and saved money.

If a purchase or refinance I will use Costco services again. The providers are excellent. they offered a very competitive rate that 3 different lenders could not match. The kept me informed every step of the way and helped me resolve a obstacle quickly and easily to close my loan on time.

I recently bought my first home and used the Costco Mortgage program. I worked with NBKC Bank and found them to be extremely helpful and professional. My representative was Brett Schnake. He answered every single question I had and kept in touch with me during the entire process. I could not have asked for more. I highly recommend this program and particularly Brett Schnake..

The process was easy and people were responsive and communcated throughout the process.

I chose 4 lenders to receive information from and within 2 hours I had been contacted by all of them (some within minutes). Deciding which lender to proceed with was actually the hardest part of the process as they all charge the same fee to Costco members. Applying for the loan was simple, we were able to upload all of the required documents and signing was done with esign. Any questions we had were quickly answered by the company through email or phone call. We obtained the loan within a few weeks and then hit a snag with closing escrow due to some issues with the home being in probate. Our loan officers were very helpful in dealing with the Title company and helping move things along. Overall we were very pleased, would choose the program again and highly recommend it to other Costco members.

We were contacted by a few Costco lenders and completed our refi in about 40 days. Costco did great, however, the lender underwriters had difficulty understanding our retirement funds. Simple terms like stock settlements within our portfolio. RMD’s we’re a mystery to those that should know basics. We had to educate them but everything worked out in the end. Thanks Costco, you did Great😉

Offered several different options. I chose NBKC Bank and my loan advisor, Nick Link, was great. Extremely responsive and always responded within a day. Very helpful with answers to my questions.

Easy to use and helped us tremendously on price

I heard good things about this mortgage program. I was purchasing my second home and wanted the best possible rate. Without purchasing any points, I got the best rate and APR and closed on my house in less than a month. I 100% recommend this program to everyone.

Strong Mortgage had a representative in my time zone which was good. Unfortunately, they missed at least two closing dates. Then, because of the missed dates, they said their underwriters needed new, updated, documents such as bank statements, tax forms, etc. because the previous documents were now over a month old. Poor communication and lack of customer service from January through March. Strong did tell me that they would sell my mortgage right away, which they did.
The good part is that I got a good interest rate on the refinance.
